I'm creating a collection of hymns and Christian songs to help my depression. They’ve all been such a blessing, but this one is one of the standouts. I felt I was singing along I Heaven... This is truly “speaking in tongues”! Only 6 languages. Can you imagine a choir from every nation and people from different times in history singing this in unison? This simple song brings back memories from my youth and early walk with Jesus as a young Christian in the 70s and 80s at St Hugh’s Church in Port Elizabeth, where we sang it often. This beautiful rendition on the banks of the Sea of Galilee shows what joy and peace can happen when people from different nations and languages unite in prayer and worship. Please Lord heal our broken world, especially in South Africa and the Middle East, where so much pain and suffering has taken place: please open the eyes of all tribes and tongues to the simple Truth that you are the one and only God of all people and that when we unite under Your banner, great love, joy and peace reigns amongst us all. I felt I was singing along I Heaven... This is truly “speaking in tongues”! Only 6 languages. Can you imagine a choir from every nation and people from different times in history singing this in unison? No-one out of tune - even me (I can't wait)!And this is just 1 short chorus!!!!!!

This beautiful rendition on the banks of the Sea of Galilee shows what joy and peace can happen when people from different nations and languages unite in prayer and worship. Please Lord heal our broken world, especially in South Africa and the Middle East, where so much pain and suffering has taken place: please open the eyes of all tribes and tongues to the simple Truth that you are the one and only God of all people and that when we unite under Your banner, great love, joy and peace reigns amongst us all. I pray especially for the elections to take place in South Africa this week… please, Lord, raise up God-fearing leaders who are determined to work for good in our broken Nation, to heal and restore.
