When I had an experience, telling other people, I quickly learned that they don’t want to hear it. They asked me what kind of drugs was I on all the way to, “I don’t believe that.” I quashed my story for years. I was 17 when it happened. I was scared out of my mind. When I hear someone say, they were scared out of their mind over something…I feel like, they don’t really understand what that means. I was so scared, my mind was trying to grasp at ANYTHING that would make it make sense…and when I couldn’t, I really thought I must be going insane. That, my friends, is being scared out of your mind.

I have known TERROR ALSO. TERROR BEYOND!! TERROR. I dont know how I'm still alive. I wrote a bit about my experiences on this thread. God bless you. I understand.

I'm 60 and have been solo hunting and camping in the deep woods since I was 10. Bigfoot is the last thing I'm worried about at this point. There's far stranger things than that out in the wilderness where nobody goes. Much stranger. Often it's the place itself that's not right. Follow your gut feeling. I just don't talk about what I see or have seen. I think whatever separates this reality from somewhere/something else is thinning and increasingly allows passage both directions in certain areas at certain times.

I, along with two seasoned police officers, had almost the exact same experience on Sleepy Cat mountain north of Meeker Colorado in 1981. None of us ever went back there again and these two officers never bow hunted again. I hunted in different areas but I only went one more time, but I absolutely refuse to sleep in a tent in the outback ever again. It was a horrible event. We had not seen each other for 25 years but when we did meet, the first thing was "what was that??? I have not heard anything close to that sound ever again, but this guys description fit it perfectly.

And no, it wasn't a cougar, fox, owl, or anything else people tellnautilus. Sheer volume of the screams resonated in my chest, and it didn't just make the hair on my neck go up but made me feel nautious.

It pays to pay attention to your intuition. He felt uneasy with the empty tent, had a sense of foreboding that something bad was going to happen even before he arrived at the camp, and felt he was being watched while at the site but he still decided to camp there. He ignored all the signs that this was not the place to camp in rememberance of his wife.

Big foot would be very scary but it seems they just want to scare you away! One thing never throw things back at them because you are asking for mor terrifying happenings. They will chase you and throw bigger stones at you at amazing speeds. You can make them mad and they really would be unpredictable. Now a Bear is not the same thing! They are extremely dangerous. They def are not afraid of killing you and drawing attention they don’t think like that they are not concerned with anything they just come after you if they choose to! You really have a problem if the bear comes after you! Bear Spray discourages them but you better have a place picked out to get to safety. Always lock car doors they will get in your car easily and tear it apart! They look for food that drives them on!

But…About 2:am, we were awakened by something that smelled horrible and was circling our tent; the dog was going bananas and I did everything I could possibly do to keep him quiet,
At about 5:am, the smell left ; we literally rolled up our tent and threw the whole kit and kaboodle in the trunk of the car and fled. We never went back; even though it was such a pristinely beautiful place, we just couldn’t go back up there again.

He fell asleep because there was no reason not to after a long time of listening and it was not repeated. A 'Whoop' does not sound as threatening as some other sounds one might hear. He also fell asleep after hearing the screams but I could see if he was up there because he lost his wife he'd be so emotionally drained from the previous week of taking care of his deceased wife he'd be completely exhausted. And one more thing - if he felt he was hearing a Bigfoot that would not be as frightening as hearing a grizzly because Bigfoot is not very much known for attacking humans but just leaving them be in their tents until morning, at least that is what most of these stories relate.

Cougars, bears, bobcats, etc. all came through at one point or another. The screams sounded like a woman being brutally murdered. I ended up having to call the rangers and law enforcement. You're a great story teller. The tree part reminded me of the time, while living on a game reserve in South Africa, we woke in the morning to find signs of the elephants having moved through our camp. The weirdest part, was that an elephant had up rooted a tree, a small one thankfully and placed it very nicely on the bonnet of our car. Like a calling card! They also stepped over a 5 foot wall, into the kitchen garden to eat all the produce.

Elephants seem to be very compassionate and polite “ beings” ; they may not have opposable thumbs, but they deserve our respect.
I’m thinking we are too ignorant and don’t really understand or comprehend that we share this planet with other very intelligent beings; we are NOT the only intelligent species on this planet on land or in the seas..
We SHOULD are-evaluate our assumptions and should feel ASHAMED by the way people have treated other compassionate, intelligent beings that we SHARE this planet with… the atrocities committed against them, breaks my heart.

Sorry, hit wrong button. When I bought my cabin, my dog (a Yorkie, not a big dog for protection) were the only ones up there. We went for a hike, and I literally walk into their habitat. Yeah that feeling of being watch was so intense, I got the heck out of there. Still did not know about them at that time. Moving many years later and after research, I now know all about them. It is the most eye opening experience you will ever have. EVER. So once again my new dog and I were again alone at the cabin. I had invited the Xanue pronounced Jon nu, to visit me at the cabin. My bathroom lights fuse was blown so I had a small battery lantern in there. Middle of the night, had to go. As I walked into the bathroom, before turning on the lantern,. There on the floor was a big Orb. It disappeared. I told it to come back. Oh it did alright. First thing in the morning. I had just woken up when I had a growl in the cabin. The bigfoot was cloaked. It then told me it's name. I, of course was frightened at first, but it left because it knew I was frightened. I have had many experiences since then. There are 3 different kinds of bigfoot. The Xanue ,(the good ones). The Treykon ( the bad ones, they will kill you and eat you). And the XuXiku (fallen angels, they are bad too.). What you experienced up by Monte was the Xanue. They are para-normal and can cloak. They are more human looking. They came to our planet because their planet was dying. We can connect and I can teach you all about them if you would like,. They will then know you and protect you from any harm when you are in the forest. Also what one knows, they all know. I could tell you stories for hours,. It is so amazing, like I said it will change your life for the better. They have brought me to God. God has asked them to help our human race to learn to reconnect with God. I also have eye witnesses who have seen them in my house. I also have videos of my Guardian Angel in my house. And for the none believers,. That's Ok,. Because they don't know what they are missing out on. Happy Squatchin

I've heard a lot of stories of encounters with the Bigfoot- Sasquatch...
This story pretty much kept me on the edge, and I have to honestly say I'm glad that this gentleman live to tell about it!
I'd say when you have that bad feeling inside, we know it as a gut feeling ... It's always best to heed to it!
If you feel like you're being watched, you usually are!!
But I honestly wouldn't go back to that same area knowing that all that happened to me in just one night... Usually that's a huge message from the Bigfoot- Sasquatch. It's simply because they don't want you there in their area. It's a real blessing that they were not super aggressive with this gentleman and physically chased/ ran him out of the woods. In other words those were just warnings to him to get out and stay out of their area.
Believe you, me I know this from personal experience!!
Loved the encounter story Chris!! 🙏

I have to say that ghosts and Sasquatch are both on the same level of not being physical beings. Well, not by our standards of physicality.
There have been numerous sightings of these entities we call Bigfoot. Many sighting are by hunters and other armed people. Throughout all of the years of these sightings, we should have the physical evidence to no doubtedly proove their existence. But we don't. I guarantee that these entities are supernatural, interdemensional beings such as Skinwalkers and. YES. UFO'S AND ALIENS. Kind of hard to kill something that is here, but isn't here, in our realm of existence. At this point in time, there is alot that the general population doesn't know or understand.

Mountain lions (and Florida panthers) scream like that. I've heard them 2-3 times, also saw and heard one growl from about 10-12 feet away behind our Army tent (the kind of sound that makes everyone jump inside their tent no questions asked and not go back out again until daylight). Seen the tracks in fresh snow; their shape, stride, and habit unmistakable. Quiet, sensitive, observant people (like myself) can always 'feel' when they are watching (i.e. stalking) us. How I survived my several experiences with them is miraculous. I also camped out in the open (no tent) in the remotest depths of the Okefenokee Swamp, the first night in the wild surrounded by huge alligators lurking just a few feet away, grunting so loudly and persistently that I could not sleep. And the worst part is that they would stop and become dead quiet every time I lifted my head trying to see in the inky darkness. So they too were watching very closely and probably hungrily. Another thing: Mountain lions usually hang around good water sources like creeks, rivers and swamps.

I enjoyed it so much that I had my daughter, home from college, listen to one while we did a puzzle. She said they were too scary because of the dramatic pauses and how you told the story; it built too much suspense. :D This new thing of including the call at the end of the video is super cool. At first, I thought it would be redundant because you already tell the stories so well, what else is there? But it does add a richness to it to hear that real person tell what happened, and I love all the varying accents. Thanks for the hours/days of enjoyment! In my opinion that was his wife telling him to not go to that camping spot. I personally have felt that bad feeling when I was camping with some high school buddies of mine at Bear Cabins in Smoky Mountains. This is back in 2007.

The first indication that “all was not well”, was that empty two man tent, with no one around. They either “got the hell out of dodge” so fast, they left their tent or “something got them”. A good reason to go to another site.

So very sorry for your loss sir.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I know it isn’t easy especially when those closest to us, doubt our word.
Am glad u didn’t let it alter your life permanently. I believe they are just curious territorial beings, incapable of not spying on humans when we enter their “realm”.
I believe I had an encounter as a young toddler. Nothing else makes sense…I’ve only shared story w my parents and my partner.
They just cannot fathom, and I agree, how I can replay the memory of a camping trip we took when I was barely 2 yrs old!? Which then sprouted a reoccurring dream/nightmare for the next 7-9+ years. I couldn’t name the subject of my dream as a child because I didn’t know what it was-i referred to it as “the screechy monkey man” and still rem almost every detail of dream, 40 years later. While watching the countless Bigfoot related videos when I became homebound, and the resemblance I saw brought back all those memories, as if a dam broke.
    Take care
    Stay safe

we are not the only sentient species, nor are we the most superior species on the planet. it's becoming more and more obvious that there are several large hominid species living in areas that are not occupied by humans. and i have recently learned that the crafts we see flying through our skies and coming in and out of our oceans and deep lakes are controlled and piloted by several highly advanced species that have lived in our oceans and deep earth caverns for a very long time. according to some government insiders, an ancient race of humans have lived in our oceans before the last ice age began. some advanced species have arrived from other planets and taken residence on this planet in the ancient past.

The area we hike to camp is about 1.5 miles from parking area. When we get there no birds, no squirrels, nothing. Nothing ever moving in day time. But at night we get surrounded by coyotes, gray owls, and other animals moving at night. The owls come in close surrounding and hooting at us in the darkness but we've never seen them even with flashlights

Being alone in the wilderness, although super-appealing to many, the sounds the woods produce in day and especially at night, is an attraction that has cost many their lives.Others that have flat out disappeared, with no trace whatsoever. All of these terrible occurrences have one thing in common, they were alone! It is "never" a good idea to go into the wilderness for an overnight stay alone. Not in this day, not in this time! The reported missing persons list grows each year with people hiking, camping overnight, or hunting alone, with no company at all or in close proximity. Being armed is a "must do" if someone desires to experience the great outdoors, especially if bears are present, to include the unknown, that is making its presence known with these poor missing souls.

How terrifying! It really sucks that a person who camps their whole life, who clearly love being in nature, could have it all come to a halt with such a frightening experience.
Personally, I never understand parking that far from one's tent. I always want the ability for a quick getaway, myself. TBH, I won't camp in my tent alone unless I'm in a campground with other people. So, it's car camping for me with my car ready to go... no tethering or anything encumbering my vehicle in any way. These stories confirm to me a need for night vision cameras.

Monte Cristo in the Utah mountains is a definite Bigfoot hotspot. There’s this Sasquatch researcher along with his wife that go throughout the mountain ranges of the western Northern American ranges. He’s had a few sightings and he received a call from this guy whose a subscriber of this researcher’s TH-cam channel. The guy said he ran into two of these creatures while riding on his four wheeler a few hours before he eventually called this researcher and found out he was nearby and the guy wanted to come by the area and find out about the guy’s sighting, then check out the area for Bigfoot tracks as there was quite a bit of snow on the ground in that area. He found both sets of the tracks by both of the creatures within minutes of arriving to the location. Here’s the link to the video he took of these 2 sets of tracks that were too large and spaced out to be tracks of a human. They were between 4 foot strides with one footfall straight in line with the others like the creatures were walking on tightropes. Found this video fascinating as rhere were no drag marks from the footprints these creatures left. They truly are powerful, fast, and efficient walkers in deep snow. Enjoy this video. He’s got a great channel with lots of Bigfoot sign and evidence he records with his video camera. Here’s the link. Enjoy.

Great storytelling!! Just came across your videos recently and find them very entertaining! When i was younger , im in my 60s now, i would solo camp out on an island on a river that wasnt too far from my place ! I would take my boat and tent out there for a night or two! Never had any problems and figured something or someone would have to swim or boat out to it and i would hear them! Loved the peacefullness and getting a nice fire going! I did bring my hand gun with me but never had to use it!! Eventually brought my soon to be wife out to the campsite and nine months later had our first child!! Keep up the great videos!!

The sounds are described are those of a mountain lion both the whooping and the screeching. I had this happen camping up in the woods in Oregon. Thankfully I had a great Pyrenees. My dog chased it off.

Good thing for him the Sasquatch there weren't so mean like a few of them are or he wouldn't have survived. By the way the background nature scenes were absolutely beautiful. What a disgusting experience to have when he was just wanting to have closure with sweet memories. Well okay Chris, I'll catch you later down the trailer somewhere, by now.

My ex wife and I had a picnic that ended up being between to vocalizing ceeatures. The closer one was getting closer and closer and I had the feeling it didnt know we were there. When it got pretty close behind some trees, it did the insane Samarai chatter. Then it got closer and my wife and had a simulatenous panic
-flee response. It took all of my willpower to slow down enough to bend over and pick up our beloved deer rifles (Model 70's). We fled, a decent buck fled along with us and the range cattle were leaving. Ive never felt supernatural fear like that at any time in my life and I've spent my life hunting, fishing, camping under the stars, bowhunting with bow only....
This is one experience of several, along with stories from my father and grandfather dating back to the 40's.
Since then I've found three prints (one this year) and a newly constructed tree structure which was built using logs carried in from elsewhere. I happen to know what the forest looked like before the structure because I own the property!

Sabe is real good at scaring the heck out of people camping in their territory. His intuition was correct but he over rode his gut feelings. Well he survived. Thank God. My experiences in Colorado has shown me to look for Sabe signs such as an X trees or pushed over healthy trees. Usually Sabe does not want to kill. But they do want you OUT! Running in the dark of night usually is too risky. Hw was smart to wait for sunrise. Never shoot at them. For they can kill if you do that.
