I had a 1896 S10 and miss it. I did a SBC swap putting in a 383 stroker with a 6 speed manual and 4 link 9” ford in the back. It was stupid fast and fun. Put a cage in it and all it in all a simple swap done before the LS days. Truck was about 12 years old when I did. Got it with a blown 4 cylinder motor, slipping 4 speed auto and locked up diff so just yard parts went in. My first truck.
I'm loving the civic and s10 content also you need to install an lsd or minispool

The Chevrolet Blazer s10 has a very special place in my heart, My late grandfather given me his 1985 Blazer S10 4x4 that been sitting for 30 years and I promised him that I'll get the Blazer back on the road. After he past away, I kept that promise and a couple weeks ago, I was able to drive her for the first time and I wish he was here to see it but I know he's already pround of me.

Hi Robbie, at 7:53ish it looks like you used the hard plastic ring that comes with the Belltech coils. They include that ring so you can choose a 2" or 3" drop. That way they don't have to sell 2 different springs. If you used that in your final install, you only lowered the front 4". I've been using BT stuff for years with great results. Love the channel, keep it up.
Fam so how much did he lower it cause I wanna lower mine the same so did he drop 5 inches in the front and back or 2 in and 3 with his set up cause I want mine to look the same but I can only find 3 inch lowing kits

this truck is the reason I ended up in the southern united states...moved from Detroit , home of GM to Shreveport b/c they opened a S 10 plant and my dad got transferred..didnt like the south move much but I still LOVE S 10s

Last year. I have a 91, my rear drums were junk but I was being lazy and didn't want to mess with it, and you stopping but just rolling. That was me last year, it was idle rolling but I was to the firewall buried lol
80's mini trucks always look good slammed on some 15-17" rims and low-profile tires. Got an 87 Toyota Pickup, 3" drop all the way around, going to do a little more, and an 87 Ford Ranger 2WD also going to be dropped and slammed eventually.

So I like the Civic project, don't get me wrong on that. But seeing the S10 now, like this. You could do an awesome winter beater project with this. In regards to styling I mean. Like obviously you'd also need more power so maybe that's a first step. But like, there is so much potential with the S10 I feel like. I'd love to see it worked on in some way.
They make a button bump stop , also give it a few days to settle . If you ever wanna bring the back down more , theres a sight called jegs that run . They sell the correct angle blocks and plates for it
I have always wanted one since I was really little because I have a Chevy 305 motor sitting in my dads shop right now and want to put a 5 in lowering kit and nice rims. I will always want a fast truck but u shud make that truck fast!!!!!!

I literally just ordered a beltech suspension kit for my 91 s10 a few days ago and was like “I wonder if anyone has done a vid on how to install a suspension kit” and this guy also bought a 5” lowering kit lol

Content so fire i stayed up all night waiting for it.
Those front shocks brackets can be drimmled out and fit and when you go back and redo the truck get 1in ball joints for better geometry the disk swap just get a blazer rear end out of a 2nd gen
I miss my 10s so much. I've had a 89 that was 1/4" off the ground, a 93 blazer and a 84 with a 327 v8.

You should put a 5.3 l33 in the s10 and turbo it. The l33 is good to 600hp on boost and fits really good in the s10. I have one and on alcohol I'm running mid 4 second 1/8 miles
In my opinion; leave the car as stock as possible on the outside and just make a nice sleeper 👌🏻 it looks awesome!

Lowering an s10 can bring some bad news if you dont do it right. Youre gonna wanna put tall ball joints on the upper controll arms due to some geometry issues that lead to not being able to align it properly. Make sure your rear end is shimmed to the correcr spot to, otherwise you can tear your driveshaft apart.
