Yo, man. How do you only have 1.4 thousand subs?!? I just found your channel & it’s fantastic. If any channel deserves half a million subs, it’s this one. Keep grinding👍

The absolute best RB to ever touch the football. Ran behind historically one of the worst O lines of all time and averaged 5.6ypc while also returning kicks and punts. No player has or ever will do it like him.

I completely agree! People do not give him his flowers and they really should! Talk about doing an immense amount with less. I think if you line him up with what he did with the lack of resources behind him who’s better?! Maybe Barry sanders and Jim brown but there aren’t many other names besides those two. He is at least in the conversation!

Jamaal is literally my favorite former chief.. On top of his incredible talent He is a humble and righteous guy for real. He is beyond classy and that’s something that can’t be taught. ❤ Jamaal Charles and he will forever be a CHIEF!

Jamaal is one of my all-time, favorite Chiefs. I knew that dude was historically good. You could just see it when he ran. He was special. Thank you for putting his greatness into context.

Charles, Foster, McCoy, Peterson, Lynch, Johnson - rank them.

@@MikeKennedyNFL Jamaal Charles 2009-14 might be #1. Among the 9 RBs that had 6,000+ rushing yds he avg most YPC with 5.5, 2nd was 4.9 by Adrian Peterson. And he had the most receiving TDs with 18. #1 for me though is Adrian Peterson. Most rushing yds per game, 2nd most YPC and most rushing TDs

Probably not in the HOF but 100% should be in the chiefs ring of Fame

Cheers on another great video. Charles was a great talent indeed, and it's shocking now that he went in the third round. As for his HOF candidacy, I'm pretty shaky on that leaning towards "no" overall even with all the evidence that says how dominant he was. At the end of the day I still think of Charles as a "shooting star" type player. It seems like the HOF voters have an appreciation for endurance/toughness over a long period of time combined with quality play. It's a rough game, I can easily see a lot of the OGs that actually played in years past have a fondness for that type of career compared to the "lightning in a bottle" type. Also, Charles wasn't a workhorse back, and I'm not sure he even finished in the top ten for carries in a season more than once? Even for Terrell Davis it took a perfect storm of dominance in addition to playoff dominance, MVPS, and two SB rings to get enshrined. Charles has none of that, and while it's not his fault he played for a bumbling Chiefs franchise, the lack of hallmark accolades like Davis had essentially nukes any chance Charles has. But we'll see what happens.

Appreciate it, my man! All fair points made. And yeah, while I say he should be in, I also acknowledge that I have much different criteria than most HOF voters. I don’t think he’ll get in, unless it’s as a senior nominee many years down the line.

I disagree, I think he makes it a decade or two from now as the game continues to value YPC more and more as well as having a better understanding of how limited good players are on bad teams.
