So then what are you using to time code syncing on the camera? What did you buy to make it work?

most cameras have a time code generator built in. So you can just connect them with a Sdi cable, set one to out and one to in and it works. you only need an externel timecode generator if your syncing wireless or have a big production.

Yes and no, there are lots of ways to do timecode and sync and you may need to combine more than one depending on your workflow or any mishaps.

back in the day all the cameras accepted timecode. This is nothing new. Avid had timecode group clips in the late 90s. Sucks that by 2010 they took away timecode on most cameras. =(
