Hi Ramsey, again congratulations for your more-than-one-hour video.
My top 5 ambers are:
1. Stephane Humbert Lucas's O'hira (one of the few ambers that are not sweet)
2. Profumum Roma's Ambra aurea (an incensy and really dirty amber)
3. Ambre sultan (beautiful and I agree with your comments about it)
4. Isabey's L'ambre de Cartaghe (a different amber with osmanthus, although not sweet)
5. Roja's Amber oud (you know it)
Grand soir, Ambre 114, ambre fetiche etc. are not in my favs list.

After I have (over time) watched more of your content, I have learned how you cherish and love both Vetiver and Oud as a note. And again, as I mentioned in my earlier note - I will encourage you to try the Essence-line from Elie Saab, as it also contain both Oud and Vetiver with their own version. The whole line I would say, is on a niche level. I know that you have possible tried the best out there, especially in the Oud-category. Still, I will encourage you to try the Elie Saab, as I think it's very underrated. I respect your work and your nose alot, and I just want you to be aware of these treasures - and possible try them if you can find them. I think Francis Kurkdjian have made the whole line (not 100% sure), but for sure he made the oud, amber and vetiver. And maybe this is the only vetiver and oud fragrance, he has ever done? I'm sure you know this better than me 🙂. Higly appreciate your work.

I'm not sure if I dare write this 🙂, but after I have watched this video and your list - I may have a suggestion for a fragrance not mentioned here. One of my amber favourites - Essence No. 3 Ambre by Elie Saab. I am in awe of your knowledge and insight in fragrances, but I am sure you haven't smelled them all. The creator of No.3 Ambre is Francis Kurkdjian, in which I have the highest regard. If you have it or get your nose on it, I would love to hear what you think about this fragrance. Btw. thank you for your work and this channel. It's simply amazing.
I have not smelled any Elie Saab frags believe it or not... you are correct it is impossible for one person to smell anything
...Michael Edwards has a team of people working with him and he said its impossible for his and his team to smell everything and its what they do all day.

MPG’s Ambre Preciuex is my fave but their Ambre Mythique and Ambre Dore are good too.
Profumum Roma has a few high quality nuclear strength ambers as well.
Never smelled anything from Profumum Roma & I havent smelled Anything else from MPG either 😬

Good morning! In regards to the * AMBRE. PRECIEUX bottle, the one I own was a reivival of the original and is actually called * AMBRE. PRECIEUX ULTIME. It was produced in 2014 in limited edition of only 1 thousand bottles. It is black with gold cap instead of being able to see juice inside. I hardly have worn it but it's very dense & rich, certainly for fall/winter wear only.
Btw! Iforgot to mention that I also own the original M7 bottle on your list. Great scent as well. I'm happy to know how to discern the original bottle from the first reform of it if found in package that's sealed & wrapped in plastic. Original has 4. Notes listed, whereas the reform has 13. Good to know to prevent being taken advantage of by dishonest seller's or seller's who are just selling and sincerely don't realize they don't have original.

Benjoin Boheme is such a delicious vanillic benzoin ambery fragrance. Highly recommended. Also Ormonde Jayne does some wonderful light hearted ambers as well. Surprised Oud Zhen is not on the list, brilliant for winter imo

Unrelated, but a huge thank you for recommending Rochas femme…just received a gold cap 3.4oz bottle and i am loving it!
It is amazing right? One of the best chypres of all time.. one of Roudnitskas best along with eau d'hermes for me 😊

Similar to Rochas femme? Slightly... but it reminds me more of Diaghilev once you get to about hour 3 or 4
Where is MDCI Chypre Palatin? That is my #1 Amber scent.
Aaron Terrence Hughes used to be completely off the wall and nonsensical. I watched one of his more recent videos by himself and he was more reasonable.
I have Azzaro Pour Homme Intense (2015) too. Its OK but synthetic smelling. But I've never gotten any Azzaro Pour Homme OG fougere DNA out of it.
I've always considered "Amber" scents and "Oriental" scents as being the same thing.
I don't have Estee Lauder's Knowing but I have what is considered to be the "masculine Youth Dew", Aramis JHL. Nice Spicy Amber, sort of a more vintage-smelling Chypre Palatin.
I have Salvador Dali Pour Homme (as well as "Salvador", the cumin-esque Ralph Lauren Safari) and it smells dark, dense and slightly fecal (indolic jasmine I guess). Sort of like being buried 6 inches under ground where dog feces was a month ago.
I have the YSL M7 Oud Absolu and don't really like it. That "cola" vibe comes across slightly mothballs/eucalyptus like to me.
I have a decant of Portrait of a Lady too, but it's not my favorite rose frag. It has a very loud rose note. I prefer Dolce&Gabbana The One Mysterious Night where the amber tames the rose.
I don't have Dana Tabu but I just finally got a bottle of the Brut/Yardley's English lavender like Canoe.
Bijan Man is a trip. I didn't even perceive it as an amber frag. It smells like grass soaked in sour lemon juice baking in the sun.
The Dior amber scent I have is Ambre Nuit, and I like it. But I remember comparing Davidoff Leatger Blend with it because I wore one after the other, and liked Leather Blend more.
I have a decant if Malle's Music for a While and its off-putting to me. It has vibes of Habit Rouge's structure to me and seems complex. But it comes across to me as if Carlos Beniem tried too hard. Seems jumbled and incoherent. I don't see it as a fougere.
I have the same big decant of Mosque Milano Tango as you. The cumin-like accord and strong medicinal vibe bother me.
I have and like Chergui, but I like Arabie even more.
Big fan of CK Obsession for Men.
I have a decant of Ambre Precieux and just think its OK. I think it was Sebastian The Perfume Guy's top amber so I got it. Meh.
I just got a decant of Tauer L'Air du Desert Marocain. I don't like it.

@@RamseytheRam I've yet only smelled The Air of the Moroccan Desert on test blotter. Haven't actually worn it yet. But no I didn't like it. Didn't smell much like desert air to me.
I consider Chypré Palatin more of an Amber scent than a Chypre.
I can appreciate that... i think Chypre Palatine is like a blend of an oriental & chypre

I have not tried silence the sea but I want to as I tried my first Strangelove NYC frag for the first time about a month ago and really liked it ...i think it was called deadofnight 🤔

I haven't tried deadofnight yet, but the silence of the sea is very dazzling. It offers the smell of amber that floats on the sea with all the atmosphere that surrounds it. It's really special.

@@RamseytheRam I'd say its a more smokey spicier, leathery and salty version of Nuit 1 and cheaper. Both very close but O Hira is more of a raw form. It's suppose to have Fossilized Amber in it. I have an extra bottle of it you can have for free
