My favorite part of WAR is hearing the expert say what not to do, to cutting to the guys doing that exact thing. And I can’t believe Rachel just remembers it to make sure she gets the footage for the edit. Genius!!
Get👏🏽Claire👏🏽Saffitz👏🏽to👏🏽judge👏🏽WAR!!! I know Rachel is in touch with her publicist, imagine the chaos of her judging the guys' CROISSANTS of all things 😂
@@sabarnidas3408they had kevin bludso, the owner of bludso’s restaurant, as the expert judge on the mac n cheese episode - he’s one of keith’s idols i believe, he talked in the episode about how much he looks up to him, and he did preeeetty badly that episode and was super heartbroken
So what I'm hearing is that we clearly need a Halloween series of WAR where using candy is mandatory and Becky competes and/or judges. Also, I'm so glad to see Rachel!
Please do a mini-W.A.R. Episode where the Try guys make the tamales from their partner’s creative! I would love to see this and then have the try wives be the judges 💞
I'm a theatre producer and I am just so inspired by how amazing Rachel is at production. I can't even imagine juggling so many moving parts of something like WAR on top of whatever else she's producing for them + being a mother. She's such a badass!
I love how you can tell Rachel just loves the guys so much. The way she speaks of them is as if they were her own little brothers, who need some guidance, as well as sometimes messing with them.
Me last night, an expert baker who is going to try and perfect making Tartine morning buns this summer: “they should do croissants on without a recipe” Me watching this episode: YESSSSSS!
I really hope to see them do a Try Wives WAR episode, bc I would love to see Becky, Maggie and Matt give it a shot. I’d love to see Becky do one of Keith’s signature rants, as well, I feel like she’ll pull out something so funny and be laughing the whole time.
Rachel says nicki's job is huge after describing her own job 😂 Also Becky asking if anything ever going down hill and Rachel cringing like everything goes down hill
One of the things i've always been so fascinated by is whether the demo comes before the shoot with the guys or vice versa. The way they flow narratively is always so seamless. Rachel and the rest of the team are such pros. They make such quality work.
The way she just remembers what the guys do during their cooking and then later prompts the experts to further explain why not to do something one of them clearly did! Ex. Eugene's wet fondant w/ Jonny Cakes
I haven't been able to watch YCSWU lately, but when I saw Rachel was in I clicked so fast! She's the best, I love her so much. She barely touched the surface of how hard WAR it is to produce, huge kudos!!
as someone who has made croissant dough once and has since just bought premade dough from the freezer aisle: rachel is cruel for making the guys do croissant and I can’t WAIT to watch next season of WAR oh my god
I'd love to hear Rachel Mom's bts about the waxing video. Wow! I had no idea how much Rachel shapes W.A.R. It's funny that Becky forgot that Keith won the candy challenge not Matt! Thank you Rachel Mom for that you do for the Try Guys!!
Having a tamale episode would be epic! Have Maggie, Matt and Becky’s ideas on the show. They’re so good and it would be chaos too 😂 Rachel you are a godsend. I can see now why everyone calls Rach mom, you’re truly a mom for the boys and June and Poppy.
I always love seeing Rachel on the show and getting her unique perspective of working with the Try Guys. I especially liked getting the behind the scenes for how they come up with the creative takes on all the recipes. I always wondered why their ideas were so wild and nothing close to whatever would be traditional with that dish. It makes a lot more sense now that Rachel explained it isn't a cooking contest, it's a tv show.
i LOVE this episode!! WAR is the best kind of fun chaos content and it's amazing to hear how rachel plans for it. whether it's buying ingredients on the fly or asking for weird expert soundbites i give all the kudos for all the work that goes into getting the most entertaining results. like rachel said, it's about making a tv show for us as viewers, even if it means causing pain to niki/food experts; tysm for everyone's commitment and effort to making WAR such a blast to watch!
Love Rachel. She’s the heart of Second Try, in my humble (and completely irrelevant) opinion. I appreciate all that she does, and she comes across as a true creative genius the more she reveals, honestly. By the way, Becky NEEDS to do her candy corn idea! I think it’d be comedy gold, and I think she should have more confidence in her own delivery! 💜
I don't know if she'll ever see this but if so-- Rachel, I just need to let you know that you are such a gem. Whenever I'm feeling down I'll find a video or podcast that you're in and just put it on. It's like a big mom hug mixed with a sassy aunt. Thank you so much for just being you and sticking it through with the guys and all of us.
Frozen Eggo waffles are good for teething toddlers! My mom runs a daycare and there was a period where she had like 4 toddlers and we went through Eggo waffles like nothing 😂
Omg Rachel followed Claire Saffitz for her croissant trial?? Did the same and was also hella stressed when I first made croissants with Claire’s video. I have always thought getting Claire as a judge for WAR would be a dream
Was also gonna comment this! I’ve had strawberry, pineapple, and cinnamon/raisin/pecan ones before. Also incorporating a sweet sauce like dulce de leche or cajeta (goat milk based) is very common too. I’m sure Matt would love all those flavors lol
Sweet tamales! I just remembered those, most restaurants that I go to don't make them. Yearss ago my Spanish teacher's wife came in, and we got to eat her homemade savory and sweet tamales during class which were both so delicious!
I think it would be funny if they give the guys all one recipe where they can modify only one ingredient and have their partners guess the person who made the dish xD
Instead of having to toss stuff like bull testicles out no one wants, why not see if Smosh or Mythical Kitchen need/want them? I know the TryGuys know them and it would be a creative way to get rid of them and help them out too! win/win Its so fun to hear all the secrets going behind the scenes. Never knew it took this long to prep!

I wonder if Rachel tasted Zach’s brownies. Cuz as far as I remember, they were the BEST things made in Without A Recipe. It’s the one victory, the one thing any contestant/try guy made that the judges had NOTHING bad to say about
My favorite part of WAR is hearing the expert say what not to do, to cutting to the guys doing that exact thing. And I can’t believe Rachel just remembers it to make sure she gets the footage for the edit. Genius!!
Me too! I've always wondered which direction that went in- so it's really cool to have it confirmed that Rachel prompts them!
I love when we can hear Rachel in the background, or they’ll show her and she’s just like, “Idkkkkk🤷♀️” or “WHAT ARE YOU DOING🤦♀️”😂😂😂
Get👏🏽Claire👏🏽Saffitz👏🏽to👏🏽judge👏🏽WAR!!! I know Rachel is in touch with her publicist, imagine the chaos of her judging the guys' CROISSANTS of all things 😂
Eugene will fan boy so hard
The crossover event of the decade!
Please please please yes Claire.
YESSSSS
yes! or any other desserts they might have planned!
Becky is really good at interviewing/guiding, particularly when she catches technical terms and asks for clarification for the audience.
I have always admired this about Becky; it's something I see in Rainie as well!
I’ve missed Rachel so much. Her energy makes me feel so calm and happy.
Hey, can you please tell what Rachel answered about Keith at 22.37? Keith was sad about what?

I don’t understand how Rachel can do all of these things. There aren’t that many hours in a work week. 🤯
With twins aswell 👁👅👁🙄😭
Its because Rachel isn’t actually human, she’s an angel 😂
I was thinking that too. She deserves a raise at the very least.
30:57 The guys calling Rachel "mom" is totally adorable! She's literally raising toddlers in the office too! 😆😆

I had no idea Rachel tries all the recipes first 😮 Had that been mentioned before?
Yep. I think from her AMA IG stories 😅
@@missaprilfool120 what does AMA mean

She mentioned it on second try when they reacted to one of try guys WAR video
I wasn’t aware of HOW much goes into WAR. Or any of the Try videos really. Rachel literally runs everything. She’s awesome
You should also see YB videos on editing W.A.R. and Phoning It In. Rachel and YB both do so much to make happen it.
Yeah. I thought Rachel just gives tells them the food and they make it without a recipe
I love how you can tell Rachel just loves the guys so much. The way she speaks of them is as if they were her own little brothers, who need some guidance, as well as sometimes messing with them.
I knew Rachel did a lot or the try team but my goodness! She is so incredibly dedicated to her job. Hats off to her.

Maggie saying croissant in the tik tok audio voice was hysterical and no one addressed it 😂

Tamales de dulce exist. My mom puts pineapple in them with bits of dulce mixed in. I’ve had some sweet ones with strawberries/mixed berries too
I wish I could’ve watched the live war, hopefully they’ll upload it sometime

Maybe a phoning it in with the partners being the “professional chefs” calling it in to their partners
