Air Trigger pairs best with voltshot. It maxes out reload and you don't need anything else to make it work. You just have to short hop to activate. As long as you're off the ground when you start your reload, your good. Same with Sightline Survey HC. Try it, it is the best option for the fastest reload.
I have been trying to get more people to realize this too. Too many are writing it off as a "PvP only" perk, but with all the jumping and dodging we ALL do in PvE its is an AMAZING perk for notoriously slow to load weapons like this.
@@failfurby it's the fastest reload scaler for the least amount of work.

@@failfurby Im really not sure why. Target acquisition matters SO much more in PvP than in PvE.
@@RealityRogue the only part about Air Trigger that matters is the reload scaler/speed it provides, which is the fastest and easiest to proc in the entire game. The rest of the perk text could be blank for all I care, as long as Im getting better/faster reloads from one perk and higher damage from another, that's all a weapon needs to be S tier.
Don't sleep on eddy current. I've been using it and it's really good. With volt shot, you need the fastest reload you can get, and eddy current keeps it high almost all he time. And with volt shot, you are RARELY shooting the whole mag. The volt shot loop is get kill, reload, repeat. So high reload is the most important thing
@@COREcasual Air Trigger is faster with less involved to get it. Bunny hop = max reload. Watch Cool Guy's review of new Crimil's Dagger for the proof.
Already have an Oversoul with Eddy/Volt and you’re overselling the extra reload. Corrasion with the investment into reload is good. HIR is the play for higher tier enemies that are chunkier
@@trickyBasterd hir is super overrated. You have to unload the entire mag for a tiny bit of extra damage. It's not worth it imo. If you're having to use an entire mag for a "chunkier" enemy, just use a special. I'll take eddy current all day over hir
@@failfurby you don't even have to jump for eddy current. Just get a couple of kills and you're amplified and you can stay amplified forever as long as you're getting any kills with any arc source.

If you’re using volt you definitely reloading more, enlighten action feels more beneficial. I reload after every kill making high-impact useless. Im barely getting to 55% before reloading.
I have a sightline survey crafted with Enlight+volt with reload mag and reload frame. Havent tested it yet but it definitely gonna be really good. The only benefit for the pulse rifle is u can stun both barrier and unstoppable champ in one gun.
Would be so cool to see someday one for all and voltshot.

I feel like high impact reserves and volt shot work against each other since you have to reload for volt shot to work. I would either get one or two high impact shots before I reload or my gun would always be at the top of the mag.
Absolutely agree, this perk combo that is recommended makes 0 sense.

While I understand where you're coming from, I think high impact reserves are still the way to go here. It's free damage and even here in the video he's emptying the whole mag over and over because the gun holds very little bullets in the mag anyway. If you're running it on low level stuff, maybe high impact reserves won't be used as much but in stuff like GMs it's real good. The combo isn't as bad as subsistence/kill clip or something like that is basically what I'm trying to say.
Side note, these weapons take shaders awesomely. Just for one with one for all and enlighten action. ( my 1st drop) excited to take it for a spin!
This and the Neomuna Pulse Rifle are tasty, especially with voltshot

I use mine with eddy and volt shot . Easily one of the best guns that you can craft this season.
Its animation is clean, sound “is not” distraught, and has decent slap contingent on perks.
While Voltshot is an amazing perk for ad clearing, it is outperformed by Nullify's available Firefly + Incandescent perk combo or Graviton Lance's Cosmology perk. The downside of Voltshot is that it only activates after reloading after a kill. Firefly and Cosmology are instantaneous. While it's nice to have Corrasion crafted, it'll always be a third pick.
Where this shines is in endgame content like GM's, Expert Battlegrounds, etc. It is anti-barrier and anti-overload champ in one weapon. It offers more build flexibility. While I agree nothing tops Lance for ad-clear there are plenty of good uses for this weapon, during this season at least.

Is this weapon better than Oversoul Edict?
its better in terms of range and impact.... the oversoul is great at close range and mid range combat, its really snappy and quick but its not as accurate. this however is really accurate, minimal recoil and better from longer ranges
@ProfaneProductions sweet thank you for answering brother. So you'd definitely take this one over Oversoul for like GM's than huh.
Oversoul Edict is great but the clunkiness of the weapon model and its origin trait make it way more effective for all activities outside of end game PvE.
The other one is the garden of salvation pulse. I still have that one

HIR won't see much play in easier content, in harder content where everything is red to you, this will matter a ton.
Free damage is still free damage.
In easier content, i think air trigger and volt shot is the play lol. But don't use that in PVP, it actually hurts you massively. In PVE it is not that bad.
How I can unlock the concentration level 2?

I wasn't entirely sure what I'd think of this thing before it dropped, but having got one to drop shortly after reset, I've got to say that I'm really enjoying it.
It looks, sounds and feel great to shoot, has barely any recoil, and I'm just really looking forward to crafting one 👍🏻.
P.s, don't mean to be a d**k, but I thought this was the 3rd legendary variant of this archetype. Isn't the new Aishas care from Trials also a 2-burst?

Having volt shot on the rocket sidearm unfortunately power creeps any other volt shot weapon. I think the perk needs a rework so that it’s more playable on other guns

So wrong - new archetype that's not behind the raid and is craftable.
No ones ever gonna use this. If you do you’re just gimping your damage.
Brother I use an LMG in GMs. At this point weapons don’t matter, whatever feels fun is best and voltshot is always fun.
I don’t know if you guys have used nullify but that thing hits like a truck even in gms this thing is also gonna be nasty can’t wait to craft it and mess around with it.
