- Whether its the liberation of Palestine, or the liberation of self, the night prayer plays a crucial role in what is unfolding today. Tahajjud may seem like some exclusive worship for a tiny set of people, but its actually the first foundation of self and society, and the beginning of victory against a brutal enemy.

I started praying tahajjud very recently, after the war in Gaza started. The destruction caused by the war and the piling up of bodies of innocent children were too unbearable for me. My heart was calmed and I felt at peace only after I started praying tahajjud. Now I really look forward to this prayer and I am hoping for a grant victory for our brothers and sisters in Palestine. All my life I wanted to pray tahajjud but was always lazy and the suffering of the people in Gaza was the turning point in my life. This also makes me understand why Allah gave pain and suffering to us, it truly helps us to turn towards Allah in this busy and careless world.
Yeah me too. The Gaza situations make the turning point of making Tahajjud as a habit for me.

1. Secret ingredient of victory
2. 1st prayer obligated on prophet
3. Victory of badr came with tahajjud
4. Make it a habit even if you are struggling with obligatory prayers
5. This is the prayer stressed on the 1st Khutba in Medina
6. Exclusive good deed only for the ummah of prophet
7. The main act you can do as an individual in these times of fitnah and trials

Walaahi tahujjud is a secret weapon of the muslim! From experience I learned that it's the strength,and energy of the heart,and the cleanliness of your thoughts. A booster in your overall (awareness) which pertains to your (vision and hearing). It's what really made me know that Islam is truly guidance from Allah Subhana Wa Ta Ala. Brothers and sisters take heed because the night prayer is sacred and was praticed by the previous Prophets before our Nabi (SAW).

I started praying tahajuud a year ago and despite accomplishing alot in life, this is by far the biggest ive ever accomplished. Just this morning during fajr in congregation with my husband, i felt so bad with my focus / khusyu ability. I was thinking and pray to Allah whats wrong with my brain? Why I always not present. I watch this video during breakfast. I like to think that Allah give me the answer not 1 hour after I asked Him. Alhamdulillah. I will try to make qiyamulail as a habit from now on. Monthly, weekly and daily. May Allah heals me body and soul too. ❤

i’ve started praying tahajjud last ramadan and it’s a special prayer that changed me and my view on life. i pray it almost every night and i find peace in this prayer. i feel so content and calm whenever i finish praying it and make the dua afterwards🥺
it helped me with my five obligatory prayers as well. the duas that i make are answered by Allah and i feel so blessed🤲🏻

I got disciplined in September and started the night prayer in October. alhemdoulillAh now I don't miss a prayer, I pray at work, I put it above what people might think or what problem they may make for me. I pray tahajud for a very long time but sometimes I struggled with because it's nafas who doesn't want so im leaving this comment here so if anyone like I will motivate and dont leave my tahajud
I prayed Tahujjud for one year and then started feeling discouraged and lazy about it. And stopped making an effort to pray and it took me more than 4 years to come back to it. And for 4 years I’ve been 😢 because my peace left me, my clarity left me. Ask Allah to keep inviting you and study the names of Allah and then journal to reflect on them. When you learn who Allah is and then go have a private audience with Him in the night, it will feel sweeter, more powerful! Sometimes we just lose the novelty of acts of worship and need to refresh them by learning something new or reflecting deeper. May Allah keep you in Tahujjud for the rest of your life and may He give you patience at this time and accept from you your efforts, Ameen!

I wouldn't know what to do without Tahajjud prayers. It feels very different from fard prayers. Praying in the stillness of the night is an unexplainable feeling. It feels like it's just you and Allah. It keeps me going. I feel a special connection with Allah during night especially. You're missing out if you aren't praying tahajjud. May Allah bless you all with tahajjudd.

I get whatever I want after praying Tahajjud... And there is this joy and relaxation that comes after Tahajjud
As Sheikh mentioned in this video, you can ask Allah swt to give you strength to pray regularly and be steadfast in the religion during the night prayers. I actually started to be able to pray regularly and consistently because Allah swt woke me up for tahajjud and I asked for His help to keep me steadfast in the religion. It was indeed a blessing and alhamdulillah it has been almost 4 years since I have regularly performed prayers without force.

I was just reflecting about this recently as I desperately want it too. One thing that keeps coming as encouragement is remembering one shekh saying if Shaytan makes you feel your sleeplessness excuse (I trust it would be issue for everyone)- know that Allah ﷻ will put Brakah in ur sleep.

I want to start praying tahajjud actually. alhumdulilah I reverted last year towards the end of ramadan, and I recently found out about tahajjud this year. I love praying 5 times a day because when im sad I get to talk to Allah swt and when im happy I can express my joy. I make dua everyday, but I keep hearing that tahajjud is different. I am still learning about it and haven't performed it yet. if anyone could give me advice, thank you 🤍

Alhamdulillah I have begun to rise for prayer and now miss the inner peace and calmness when I don't.
I awake sometimes around 2:30 & 3: 30 AM and when I pray I find it difficult to rise and go to the masjid for Fajr.
However if I rise about 5 Am and pray Tahajjud along with Witr, I stay up to go for Fajr.
Is this good???
Praying, making Repentance, seeking Forgiveness and asking Allah to fulfill my needs is becoming indispensable. Also it is the time to make dua'a for the Ummah as a whole.

If there is a miracle I have experienced related to Islam,is Tahajud. I can almost predict my life based on how I am dedicated to Tahajud. If I become more dedicated I know life is going to be good. If is see I am getting Abit lazy and going some days without it,I know things will not be good.
We have to hope for the good even if we miss tahajjud sometimes 🙂

Salam alaykum waramatuhalli wabaraktu. I had listened to this lecture a few days ago and it really touched my heart to being reminded of how rewarding praying the Tahajjud is. Because especially in these very crucial and uncertain, scary and dark times it is a must that we have to our best to get even more closer to Allah swt our creator.
In general even when there is so many fitnah and troubles going on in the world, we're always wrapped up in our own things in this Dunya and we forget to remember our Lord, the most merciful, the most compassionate. So may Allah swt guide myself as well as all of us in this umah and may Allah swt raise our Imaan, our spirituality and guide our hearts to always do good deeds ameen.
So I just wanted to point something out and that is, that there are many wars going on in the world. And it is true that Palastine and Gaza have been having very difficult times and may Allah help them against Israel and those that oppress them, but I do feel that not many know about the other wars in the world; because Sudan and Yamen as well have been having very difficult times too and our Muslim brothers and sisters are struggling very much over there too. And I just wanted to say that um.. I think people need to be made more aware about these other wars happening in the world out there too. And may Allah swt help all our Muslim brothers and sisters everywhere ameen.

i myself still learning to consistenly pray tahajjud 1-2 months ago, but my headspace is in such a tremendous leap from where i didnt do it. there is still so much to do to make my tahajjud better tho because i am in such early stage, but i thank Allah that he gave me a chance to even start, and i do hope he gave me a chance to continue it till the day i die🙏❤️✨

George Washington Carver , would pray the night prayer , i am not sure if he was a revert ,but he spoke of how Allah swt made him aware of so many discoveries, he was well known for his understanding of peanuts. My point is he would pray and do the night prayer. And was blessed for his praying.
