The reorganization was super helpful. Now that things are aligned in associated groups, they are much easier to navigate. Great work.

Love this! The Grateful Dead feel, with a splash of Allman Brothers. Really like it! Thanks Dave! 🎸🎶

Dave, thank you for answering many questions that I have without even asking.
I tried to understand music theory without guidance for far too long.

Hey, it's me hanging out in the past. Came across this one last night while being even further back and I think this is a good introduction for me and Triads. It's a noticed that the Gibson and the Strat guitars didn't sound as good as the stuff you're doing with the Telecaster. That telly really sounds nice. How do you get the music to start with both hands on the guitar? Is there an assistant in the background?

Hi Dave love your lessons especially the triad ones. Any chance you could do a lesson on playing popular ( or not) songs using triads? I like the different melody line you get with triads much more fun than just open/barre chords. Thanks. Rob

hi dave, thanks for the great lesson. it's always fun to see that you always seem to land on the right note and that your lines always fit rhythmically. I pretty much understand everything you say, but when i try these things it sometimes works, and when it does i immediately loose track because of the overwhelming joy that i did it. Anyhow, i enjoy your laid back and relaxed way of talking and playing. Keep up the good work, i will keep on practising!

Lowell George sang it, “When your mind makes a promise that your body can’t fill.”
Came to mind when you talked about making Sure you can do it by mechanically doing it. Ever hear the song Five Foot Two Eyes of Blue? A friend said he stopped playin it at parties or gigs when there’s a dance floor and old folks. He said three different times he was playing that tune at gigs and an old lady went flying from getting too worked up and spinning too much when they played it. Haha! Killed me. He said the first time this old old couple was on the dance floor. They started playing it and these two were dancing faster and faster and started spinning too much, haha, till finally she went through the drums! Shut the show down. LoL! Then another gig. Same song he realized. Then again. Said even if it’s requested now he won’t do it. It’s not fast really.
Has a beat that hits home I guess.
    I’m a Fan! Thanks

As someone who recently found your channel, I am an instant fan. I do have a suggestion? Would it be possible for you to create a zoom or Skype class where us wanna be songwriters could ask you questions live? I would also be willing to pay a fee to participate. Thanks again for all the great video content.

Thank you for another fun lesson. I've enjoyed your backing tracks and often play the progression into my looper for rhythm practice. Any chance you'd add the chord letter as a visual on top of your Tao banner for those of us who sometimes get lost? Thanks.

Maybe it is just me but you utilized half of the video showing slides in the 135 but fly way to fast (even in slow motion) to recognize the notes you are playing in your examples of what this could achieve which sound really cool but only makes me more frustrated believing I could never achieve this because it needs to be played fast but something like this is never truly shown note for note

Good to hear from you Dan. We’re you able to experiment with the triad slides at your own speed? I know it can frustrating when you really like something and it’s too fast to copy. Hope you will look into more content on ToT cause I’m confident there are things you can use that are suited to your skills, even if it’s often not presented note for note 🎸🙏😎

The important thing is that you are moving around like at any particular stage. It all builds from a foundation of skills and you are doing the work. It will come together if you keep on Twang’n 🎸🙏😎
