I've been debating for over 2yrs buying this beauty but kept reading articles about the f pace not being reliable. Since you own one do you believe the newer models are more reliable?
I bought a 2019 F Pace Prestige last year at South Orlando JLR and shipped it to Germany. No problems so far. I love the styling. I only wish I bought the V6.

You really need to drive the Supercharged V 6 S or V 8 SVR on the F-Pace to fully appreciate how good these SUVs are as a driver's car. Compared to an Audit or MB SUV, the Jaguar F Pace is lightyears better as a driver's car. The SVR Is mind blowing and far more usable and a much better value than a Porsche Macan. When I hear someone bought a Cadillac, Volvo, Audi or Lexus or Acura SUV instead of the rear wheel drive biased F-Pace, I just look at them and shake my head and assume they hate to drive and hate performance.

I owned a 2018 30T for a year. Enjoyed driving it every day. Lots of compliments, even from a Starbucks drive through :) sold it recently to get some extra back legroom in another suv. Miss it already!
I bought a 2018 F-Pace R-Sport. Love the car! I am in the US and this car is a Canadian market car. I’ve been able to convert all metric measurements except for the Digital speed in the center of the speedometer. The actual speedometer ring as well as the heads up display is in MPH. Any one know if the center speed can be changed from KMH TO MPH?
Do you think it’s a good idea to buy new 2022 F Pace S since it has a good factory warranty (5yr/60k). Also since you said they are pretty reliable even though others may disagree.

Looks like a KIA, check out straw exhaust pipes....gives it that eco thrasher look. Lift hood....eco thrasher. Nothing special about poverty pack Jag SUV. If anything exterior styling is generic, remove badge and could be any number Asian branded products.
I just added a near new Corvette Grand Sport to the stable. I bought a collectors edition in fabulous, brand new condition from 1200 miles away, and I'm sure it will continue to appreciate in price. I was shocked on my drive home that my F-Type is so radically superior, its unbelievable to me that anyone buys these Corvettes. Its slow, it handles very poorly (standard 2" of GM springy play in the steering rack), the auto transmission is truly awful--straight from the 1970s and hunts aimlessly between strained, clunky shifts, the paddles are 1 second delayed, the plastics and cheap analog gauges are Impala, and the shuddering through the frame is alarming. My F is flawless and vicously faster. I know GM cars are generally terrible piles of garbage, as I've driven hundreds as rentals over the years, but I really thought these very expensive Vettes would be kinda ok. Nope.
@@ECPP, one of them had the diesel one. The check engine lights constantly came back on, I remember in the third year he owned it, he told me almost 1/4 of the time, the car was in the shop. So he trade it in before the warranty expired. Another one has lots of electrical issues, not affect driving. Just like... back up camera gone black while parking.... blind spot sensor not working.... Could just be their bad luck.
And I understand those might be just bad luck... like my wife's GLK250... always trouble after trouble and we finally get rid of it last year.... at the same time, my neighbour down the street has the same GLK but never ever had any troubles. However, I could be wrong, the reputation of the reliability issues from the Jaguar really scares some customers away... like us....
@@LifeExplanatory thank you for your concern!! But be serious they use similar engines similar buddy panels and a well loaded Kia even uses the same plastic interior so why pay the extra 20k when the Kia has a better warranty??
Wonderful car. Jaguar have a great range and they are very well made and reliable. They compete with BMW and Mercedes for sure, it’s well documented. Jags have always been great lookers and great value. The tragedy is they will be all electric by the turn of the decade...unless the real world politics change and governments see sense. Great Video Mark, you’re a good Jaguar man. By the way, I love my F type, can’t get enough..just wish I’d owned it sooner. Bird magnets
No way there will be any electric cars by 2030. EV panic charging already drove February 2021 electric bills to $10K here in Texas. Plus the batteries last 3-5 years, tops, then cost $15K to $60K to replace so most EVs are junked, instead.
I really do hope you’re right my friend. But there remains the issue that many car companies have decided to stop offering petrol and diesel engine cars from their range. It’s all BS but what can we do about it?
All electric is not a bad thing. Fuel in a vehicle should not be a finate item. And they will get really really good. Better them gas and in 15 years from now you'll look back and laugh. Gas is a 8 track electric vehicles will become like wireless bluetooth
You should send your pace jaguar tape to Jaguar you would be an excellent executive for any auto industry sales. Awm

I own an XE and agree recent Jaguars are reliable and great fun to drive. The chassis is brilliant and they use 75% Aluminium in their construction!

2024 The Jaguar F-Pace is a Poor Man Land Rover Sport, I Love It.
The question is do you think that the interior quality is even better than the f type r? I like the design of it a lot 😍
Hi, I would say the F Type is a bit better with some more detail and a little more use of leather. Still pretty comparable though overall.
I believe The earlier model years had subpar interior quality than the one in the video. Looks like Jaguar has increased the quality recently.
