Has it in any way cause any damage to the back side of slide? From the pressure or every round going off I'd assume there might be some type of contact?
Great video! Do you think it can with stand the power of 45acp and 10mm? Would like to get one but afraid that mount will come out in time since the added weight that the beavertail needs
It will hold up for .45 ACP, but I am not sure if it will hold up for 10mm.
Is the plate/adaptor available also for glock 17 4th gen on the frenzy 1x17x24 and 1x20x26

Hi... One question please, is there a stupid shut off after 90 min, so one has to turn it back on?
How is your set-up holding up? Is it still tight and snug?
It is important to tighten all the screws to the correct torque of 1.5 Nm (11 lbf·in) and to apply blue Loctite (Loctite 243) on all the screws.

I have the same mount with a Vector Optic Frenzy SCRD-1911 1x17x24 that I have been wanting to install for sometime now but hesitant to do it coz it might loosen up after extensive use. I am using a Roni Kit for my Glock in the meantime. I might go ahead and install it after seeing your video.

My buddy still torqued his to specs on a 10mm Glock and it’s wobbly after 800 rounds of use.
I suggest to get a MOS Glock and do it right. Don’t half ass it.

New from Vector Optics is an adapter for Glock 17 MOS, which is very well made. It is only compatible with Frenzy-S red dot sights (Footprint MAG / RMSc).

The sticker is no longer necessary on the new adapters which are identifiable by the inscription "Fit Glock."
the threads on my mounting kit for g17 stripped the first time i tried to screw it down today. i was using the same torque screwdriver in the video and i didnt even get close to 10 in.lbs. does this come under warranty because its a pretty serious quality flaw...
Can you tell me if this optic is good for a Glock 20 Gen 4 and would the plate work for this particular gun?
The adapter used is exclusively compatible with non-MOS Glock models that have a slide width of 25.5 mm (1.0 inch). Your Glock 20 Gen4 has a slide width of 28.5 mm (1.12 inches). Therefore, this adapter is not suitable for your model of Glock. Regards, Raphael from RedDotSight.
this slide mount "D1" does not work on the first gen glock 30 its to narrow, do you have anything that is a little wider to mount a vortex venom?
The D1 adapter is not compatible with models 20, 21, 20sf, 21sf, 29, 29sf, 30sf, G30. Vector Optics does not make other models.
How is the torque setting for the red dot mounting screws?!

Asegúrate de que el visor de punto rojo esté bien fijado al arma. Repositiona los tornillos en el punto medio de su recorrido para empezar los ajustes desde cero. Dispara 3 cartuchos, luego ajusta 1 graduación. Repite este proceso: dispara 3 cartuchos, ajusta, y así sucesivamente hasta obtener el resultado deseado. Si no logras calibrar el visor correctamente, te recomendaría llevarlo a un armero, quien podrá ajustarlo en aproximadamente 10 minutos. Buena suerte.

@@victorlcl With blue glue (Loctite 243/242) you can still unscrew the screws, but if you use red glue (Loctite 270/271) it will not be possible to unscrew the screws. For your information, the CR2032 battery has an operating life of 2 to 3 years.

@@steveboone7390 It doesn't work with the blowback softair but it depends on the brand of your replica. You have to check if your BB is compatible with Glock sights

It is normal for the adapter to lift; it does not make contact with the front of the pistol slide. When you screw in the two small screws, the adapter must be parallel to the pistol slide.

The CR2032 battery has a life of 3 to 5 years. This is really not a problem.

Also das mit dem doppelseitigen Klebeband kommt für mich nicht sehr hochwertig rüber.
Bei neuen Modellen mit dem Adapter mit der Aufschrift "Fits GLOCK" brauchen Sie das Klebeband nicht mehr zu verwenden.
Wenn ich das mir so ansehe, kommt das für mich nur mit einem Ersatzschlitten in Frage :-)
