its a 1x prism, you dont need a offset red dot
Is it included in the optic's package?
does it fit on tisas px9 gen1..??
You are amazing. Thank you very much 🇺🇸❤
Want some sights with that loc tight
how is the mount secure if you didnt screw it in?
Words, torque specs, maybe your had is calibrated, mine is not. I wouldn't let you work on my gun for free. Proper tools might ne nice.
Buy optics ready.
this was the most helpful video compared to all others, thank you
Has it in any way cause any damage to the back side of slide? From the pressure or every round going off I'd assume there might be some type of contact?
Is that and airsoft for real 9mm is it fit how to install?
Sits too high over bore. There are better options out there.
What is the part number for the 45 degree red dot sight that screws on there?
Doesn't this optic use the Docter/Noblex footprint?
At Vector Optics, there are several red dot models with the following footprints: Docter/Noblex, Trijicon RMR, Shield RMS, Aimpoint Acro, and C-more RTS. To adapt it to this CZ Shadow 2 Optic Ready pistol, all the necessary adapters are available from CZ.

This combo will work for a gen 2 glock 17?
Quiero comprarlo para mi glock 19 pero no dice nada sobre traer el adaptador que tu muestras
Price please and model detail
Please use a sight pusher next time
the threads on my mounting kit for g17 stripped the first time i tried to screw it down today. i was using the same torque screwdriver in the video and i didnt even get close to 10 in.lbs. does this come under warranty because its a pretty serious quality flaw...
Is this compatible with a Glock 19 9mm Gen 3 California Compliant
Причина тряски?
I LOVE the Ahwouuuuuuu song 😂
Why was I recommended this
Why not use the shorter screws that came with the kit to attach the sight to the baseplate and the original screws for the base plate to the slide. You dont need to grind the screws. You just have them backwards
This video dates back a few years, and at that time, the Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS was supplied with 4 adapters from Glock, which is no longer the case here in Europe. In this video, I am using the one that is compatible with the Trijicon RMR No. 02 red dot sight. The screws provided with the SCRD-36 red dot sight from Vector Optics are 6x32 UNC screws and are too long. Therefore, it is necessary to shorten these two screws to prevent them from passing through and protruding from the adapter. The 4 screws provided with the Glock kit are only used to attach the adapter to the pistol slide and are M3x6 type. Consequently, you cannot use the screws from the Glock kit to attach the red dot sight.
Wenn ich das mir so ansehe, kommt das für mich nur mit einem Ersatzschlitten in Frage :-)

Hi... One question please, is there a stupid shut off after 90 min, so one has to turn it back on?
Genial👏👏… tengo que hacer lo mismo: Visor prismático 3x de Novritch. Tengo que sacarle la base
what plate I can us for Springfield XDM Elite ?
I need help lol, what size is the tool to attach the red dot to the riser ???
I meant what size is that Allen wrench sorry
Can you tell me if this optic is good for a Glock 20 Gen 4 and would the plate work for this particular gun?
The adapter used is exclusively compatible with non-MOS Glock models that have a slide width of 25.5 mm (1.0 inch). Your Glock 20 Gen4 has a slide width of 28.5 mm (1.12 inches). Therefore, this adapter is not suitable for your model of Glock. Regards, Raphael from RedDotSight.
WAY too much music, NO explanations, WAY too much time spent showing each part, and WAY too much time showing each tool used....absolutely EXCELLENT!!!! Thank you for this video and don't change your format. I rarely ever sign in to give a thumbs up or comment but I had to for this video. I was thinking about getting a shadow 2 and optics but have never done that on a pistol so wanted to see how involved the process was. It is settled, will buy a Shadow 2 and optic. Been an iron sights guy all my life and even in 20 years of military service and just recently tried a red dot sight on my AR and it turned out better than expected. Now time to try this out on a pistol...but have to get one that is optics ready.
Thank you for your positive comment.
Hi , the plate / adaptor it is compatible with holosun 507 ecc .. ?
No, it's not compatible. This adapter is designed for the TEK/Docter footprint.
I got the 2020 absolutely love it perfect for a smaller built person I can hit a six inch steel target at 100 yards all day long
How much?

Great video..Very useful tips to install the red dot.
Is the Red Dot when using it exactly at the top of the irons? So you dont see your target 100%? Or do you change the position of your to look from a more higher view and "over" the irons?
We are not at 100% co-witness, so it has never bothered me to see a bit of the front sight.
Excellent video. Very well done and very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you for your support
The 58 has the rmr footprint
Here are the references from Vector Optics for all red dot sights compatible with RMR footprints: SCRD-36, SCRD-37, SCRD-64, SCRD-SM64, SCRD-57, SCRD-58 FDE, SCRD-M36, SCRD-59.
Where is your office or contact
How is your set-up holding up? Is it still tight and snug?
It is important to tighten all the screws to the correct torque of 1.5 Nm (11 lbf·in) and to apply blue Loctite (Loctite 243) on all the screws.
Thanks@@reddotsight1013 for the reply. I have the same mount with a Vector Optic Frenzy SCRD-1911 1x17x24 that I have been wanting to install for sometime now but hesitant to do it coz it might loosen up after extensive use. I am using a Roni Kit for my Glock in the meantime. I might go ahead and install it after seeing your video.
@@reddotsight1013this optics mount is junk. My buddy still torqued his to specs on a 10mm Glock and it’s wobbly after 800 rounds of use. I suggest to get a MOS Glock and do it right. Don’t half ass it.
P-IX+ needs a folding stock, then it’d check all my boxes for a chassis
9:00 when I mount the base plate on the glock and screw it , the front lifts up. I can’t get it flat. can you help me with this
It is normal for the adapter to lift; it does not make contact with the front of the pistol slide. When you screw in the two small screws, the adapter must be parallel to the pistol slide.
How much this set up gonna run?
4:48 what is that white sticker you put on it? Like foam?
The sticker is no longer necessary on the new adapters which are identifiable by the inscription "Fit Glock."
U need a iwb for stabilizer
what did you put on the screws?
I am applying thread-locking fluid on the screws (Loctite 243).
@@reddotsight1013 thanks sir..
no tax stamp no ffl
mine is coming in tomorrow
How do you like it? Been thinking of grabbing one myself but just seeing about others experiences with them.
