wowwww! that's insane though you've been learning for 12 years since you were a child and you struggle with french still? lol that gives me hope. I'm also trying to teach myself french too, i was born in nigeria where french was taught in school, but i never took the class and funny enough i ended up moving to canada where french was a mandatory course for elementry school, and once i got to high school i left my french class(big mistake) and a year later i realized i wanted to learn the language lol. That's my french story and so far it's not been bad teaching myself, but i feel like the things im doing are random, any advice or tips on how to structure what im learning like the way it would be in a class or lesson or something?
yes girll! honestly i'm also figuring out the whole teaching myself thing too, but maybe buying a french work book would be helpful, or maybe to start out you could use languagesonline.org.uk to start off, their exercises are pretty structured and can point you in the right direction. good luck with your french!!! :)

Bravo, tu parles très bien le français !👏 Je suis tout à fait de l’idée qu’il faut d’abord apprendre à dire des mots et des phrases et petit à petit apprendre la grammaire, exactement comme on a tous fait pour apprendre à parler notre langue maternelle. Le système scolaire est trop concentré sur la grammaire ce qui fait que les apprenants savent faire les exercices mais ils ont du mal à parler.
Tout d'abord je te félicite pour ton éffort, ce que j'aime chez toi, c'est que t'as pas peur de faire des éreurs, je vois que t'es très alaise dans ta conversations et je pense que si tu continues comme ça tu progresseras très vite à l'oral.
