    Good work - please another video after about a year of wheeling with your thoughts about durability and value for the $3820 invested in parts

    Great video, I just did my install yesterday. A few things I noticed might be off in your instructions:
    1. Don’t grease the rear shock bushings since they’re rubber.
    2. Torque for the bolts at the front and rear of the Dobinsons leaf hardware is 90 ft lbs (you provided oem torque)

      I couldn't find the dobinsons specs so thank you very much.

      @@CanadianCruisin just fyi, on my dobinsons extended travel front i found the brake and abs lines to be borderline too tight at full droop and full wheel lock. I bent a few brackets to resolve that. Also, check your clearances because my sway bar makes contact with the outer tire rod at full droop + mid to full wheel lock. In the rear, at full droop, the brake cables are very tight, too tight for my liking. Also the diff locker cable is tight by can be lengthened by bending the top mounting bracket. Safety first! I checked for cv bind at full droop and full wheel lock and did not feel or hear anything.

    Good job. You mentioned it’s getting new wheels. If your wheel/tires are different size make sure to have them on before alignment

    • @CanadianCruisin

      You bet. That's why I kept the stock tires on while the suspension settled. Then the new set will go on with the alignment

    What is the video when you review the road and offroad performance of the Dobinsons compared to the Bilsteins? I find the Bilsteins to get unsettled over cement cracks and washboard. Is this better?

    Quick question can I used King shocks or fox 2.5 I prefer those brand but doesn’t show have anything for Nissan 2023

    Great video, very informative! I really like the dobinson lift! I installed an ADO RC killa lift on my 23 Pro4x, but I’ve been looking at the ADO Fox 2.0 extended travel kit but now you got me looking at other options!

      @ApexFrontier 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@02PSU I’ve got some installation videos on my channel if you wanna see how I did it! For the price you can’t beat it imho. But I will say the recoil of front springs is a bit aggressive, and it’s quite the task taking the old springs off and putting the new springs on the shocks. But yeah overall it’s a pretty solid lift, and I love the ADO UCAs, just make sure to grease them!

    Sorry for all the questions but did you guys put longer bump stops in the rear? The dobinsons shocks are 1 inch longer at full compression than the bilsteins. Just curious if you guys measured that and considered it? What bump stops did you go with?

    • @CanadianCruisin
      @CanadianCruisin  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Which coil springs and leaf springs did you install? Part numbers...
    Also, why did you go with the 800 lbs leafs if you have no added weight in the rear?

    • @CanadianCruisin
      @CanadianCruisin  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I can't remember the parts number but it's the heaviest front and rear they make. I plan on adding a few more things to the back which will add quite a few pounds so figured go heavy right away and won't have to worry about it later.
