I agree that we will be studying the Godhead for eternity. After all 1 Timothy 3:16 discusses "the mystery of godliness." Yes, Genesis 1:27 uses the singular pronoun "him" in reference to God; however, the Hebrew word for "God" in that verse is 'ĕlôhı̂ym, which is the plural form. Truly, we have things on this earth that we will have to learn in heaven.

You can't just take one verse (also taken out of context) and ignore all other texts.

The response on why Adventists don't use 1 John 5:7 is a terrible one! I hope that's not the official attitude of the Adventist Church.
Our very first fundamental belief is on sola scriptura, meaning we believe in the totality, completeness and infallibility of scriptures. Now, if we entertain this ridiculous doubt on the authenticity of 1 John 5:7, what other verse are we gonna allow to be undermined because opponents don't like it as it doesn't agree with their theory?? Are we going to repudiate on Hebrews 4:9 too? What about verses that say death is a sleep? Will we downplay those too? Revelation 11:19? Was it added later as well??

There are people now amongst us bringing Jehovah's Witness doctrines into the SDA Church but still insisting they are Adventist. So let's just get this straight YOU ARE NOT!!!
@@7ashoBeam it is not from the Jehovah’s Witness but rather from our own original beliefs !! This is part of our history!! The pioneers unanimously agreed greed upon the non trinitarian beliefs and this is well known … it is the original historical position of the SDA church prior to the alpha of heresies in 1903 with Dr Kellogg. I did not understand this until I looked into this myself and realized how the historians have tried to rewrite our history to say that there were only a few non-trinitarians, but there are documents that say it was unanimous… much studying to be able to determine which history you want to choose to believe ….

I see the church being attacked for the biblical truths we hold firm to our hearts. Satan is wroth with the woman and goes to make war (war of words) the remnant of her seed that keeps the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. This is being fulfilled in our very eyes. Let us pray for those who are still lost in babylon.

For a subject as important as who God is or what divinity is, we must be very careful, friends. Does the bible teach that God is a unity of 3 persons?
Just one text from the bible...will be enough to convince God's people. Not texts into which we read our own meanings into, but texts that speak expressly that divinity is 3 in 1.
How long is everlasting? Tomorrow and a day...

The Bible says the Father is God by himself, and that one true God gave us his son. But even in the apostles time, the people turned away from the truth.
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
God the Father. There are many texts that plainly state that God is the Father not three persons

A national Sunday Law is before us, and these people of the remnant church is promoting the beast, the Catholic doctrine. these people will encourage God's people to keep Sunday.

God is different from the one whom He will judge by, Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 1:9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; 10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
The living and true God is the father who has a son. God is not father son and holy spirit.

Isaiah 63 is a reference to Judges chapter 2 and the term holy spirit in this context is referring to jesus (michael) who actually was called the angel of his presence. The presenters are clearly mistaken in their reasoning. Exodus 23 verses 20-23 gives the foundation for this.

We balieve in The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. No body will argue. What ever is your detailed perspective is secondary and not salvific. We are saved by grace through faith. Not of how much you can fathom the nature of God which is beyund any of you can realy do anyway. If you dont want to use the term "trinity" which the scripture doesnt use at all, fine. No big deal. Why insist? When a brother is offended? Using the word "trinity" doesnt save us. Its better to understand than not to be understood. Dont fight, love one another as Jesus commanded us.
