When a question is asked in the audience it needs to be repeated because often times we the TH-cam watchers can't here the questions. If I were there I would ask you this: 1. What was wrong with marrying and being given in marriage?
    2. What was wrong with eating and drinking?
    3. What was wrong with planting and building?
    Aren't' these normal every day activities in most human societies?
    Genesis is my favorite book too. A deep study of it is beneficial.

    • @SOSPainting
      @SOSPainting 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      There is nothing wrong with marriage, eating, and planting (the basic functions of life). The part that is wrong in the sight of God, is when we are focused upon these things at the wrong time. When destruction is coming, we should not be absorbed in these things. We are to act according to God's moving.

      Because people forget God and take him out of the picture.
      We are to do all things for the Glory of Lord God. He is the source of all good things and we need to be grateful and focus on Him.

      Like today, a lot of people marry then divorce then marry and so on. Marriage is meant to be sacred
      Nowadays a lot of us overeat, gluttony, eating unhealthy when our bodies are meant to be looked after for it is the temple of the Holy Ghost. How are meant to do Gods work when we are physically unable to if we do not take care of our health
      A lot of us now focus more on properties, making money and so forth. There is nothing wrong with having money but when it is more loved then God, then it’s a problem
      Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you
      These are all everyday activities but when these are put before God then it’s no good

    • @kalomorris20

      Why did you hesitate? Ask God, he is the one who destroy and he'll tell you what's wrong with all these activities.
      KJV John 16
      13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

    When you see someone in need, do you secretly pout and groan inside? Being a Christian we are responsible to help others. However, sometimes we turn the other way and cross to the other side of the road. A lot of times we just don't want to get involved, lose time, or hear a sob story. Be generous with your mercy.

      @@josephunderwood5703 the Ten Commandments aren’t part of the Mosaic man made laws or the ceremonial laws. The SABBATH is the fourth COMMANDMENT pertaining to God written by His own finger on STONE(a symbol of something that will last forever). If you ever learned about the sanctuary and studied the tabernacle you’d know that it was a REPLICA of the Heavenly sanctuary. And what was in the most holy place??! The "water above" was a thick layer of water on the sky before The flood. The Earth before the flood was like a "Green house" (way more fertile) . A vapor of water came from The soil om The morning and irrigated The plants.
      When Noa preach about The flood, He was treated like a crazy, because it had never rained in history.
      At The flood, water came from The ground And from The sky. The "pangea" was broken, seas and continents were formed and The "atmosfere" that we know was formed.
      Water + soil +great earthquakes = a lots of huge animals and vegetation compressed over mud, that generated The petrol oil that we use so much.
      "To explain to an atheist" part: Well, Romans 1:20 tells to focus on the creation, or something like "intelligent design" of Life. Tô go direct to prove The Bible is truth requires a softened heart alread.
      Is The figure of Jesus Christ and His caracter that is The first "weapon" to conquer a hard person. And then a "curiosity" The Holy Spirit Will form on the person's mind.

    If we are like the animals, made from the dust and given the breath of life and when we die we go back to dust, why then does the spirit of an animal go to the earth and the spirit of man goes upward? Ecc. 3: 19-21

    • @carettamyers13
      @carettamyers13 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Man was created by God in His image, a personal action and given the 'breath of life' - a personal gift from the Creator. It returns to Him at death.
      Animals are of a lower order and were not created in God's image or given the breath of life hence, their spirit going downwards.

    When Adam came from the Creator’s hand, he bore, in his physical, mental, and spiritual nature, a likeness to his Maker. “God created man in His own image” (Genesis 1:27), and it was His purpose that the longer man lived the more fully he should reveal this image-the more fully reflect the glory of the Creator. All his faculties were capable of development; their capacity and vigor were continually to increase. Vast was the scope offered for their exercise, glorious the field opened to their research. The mysteries of the visible universe-the “wondrous works of Him which is perfect in knowledge” (Job 37:16)-invited man’s study. Face-to-face, heart-to-heart communion with his Maker was his high privilege. Had he remained loyal to God, all this would have been his forever. Throughout eternal ages he would have continued to gain new treasures of knowledge, to discover fresh springs of happiness, and to obtain clearer and yet clearer conceptions of the wisdom, the power, and the love of God. More and more fully would he have fulfilled the object of his creation, more and more fully have reflected the Creator’s glory. {Ed 15.1}

    Luke 17:26 Jesus in his words referring to the old testament, now why does some believers from other religions say that we Adventists believe in old testament?. But we believe in the whole Bible God do not contradict in his words.

    What happens to the people who did not receive any light at the second coming of christ. What happens to the people who did receive some light but discarded it all. What happens to the people who discard some of the light they received? This has been an age old question of mine. Sda church where I live tells me you are judged by the light you have received, oke then they go on and try to explain God will take in everybody because of that little peace of being judged by the light you have received! Now what is it. And if we are saved anyway why tell people anything? Help please!

      @SeeingDreams11 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good day, and may God bless you richly! With your first question, if a person disregards light, this is presumptuous sin, and Hebrews 10 verse 26 tells us the consequence of this is is that " ... there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins." (Hebrews 10:26). For these, their sins will come into judgment, and, they will not inherit everlasting life. Hebrews chapter 6 and verse 4 also supports this argument. Those who partially disregard light, will still have to be brought into judgement for the knowledge they had.

      For example, the Holy Ghost brought to my mind, the experience of King Saul prior to losing the kingship. In 1 Samuel 15 the king is instructed to kill all of the amalekites, he spared the king and as a result, God ended his rule as king.

      @@SeeingDreams11 Thank you for your reply I grew up in the gospel I have still some questions and things I wonder about and this subject is one of them. 'Being judged by the light you receive' has always been said to mean (by sda people in my country) that God understands we cannot fulfill His requirements and so he will save us anyway. I have always thought that a bit strange and not true. My father never taught me that but still I was wondering what a loving God will do with the people that never got the chance to either accept or deny His truth! Maybe I'm taking it to far with my wondering!
