You have to remove the front fenders, remove all the under coating, usually rust there, also behind the sills.

I think the Porsche will be one if not the one build thats just out the world good. The motor is perfect for this shell. Add all the goodies like fuel cell an stand-alone electric management system, dope race seats so its a beast to drive. Im so excited for this build.

Agreed. I run the Verus Engineering on mine (dual smaller vents but identical design cut out) and I have the fins angled the same way. If he flips the vent over, he can keep the same angle but they would be lower into the hood.

Keep in mind you can go a bit smaller on the radiator because you are going to have really long lines running rear to front and back, that will also transfer heat (help lower heat)... Do aluminum lines through the interior return on one side and pressure on the other.
Hey jimbo that hood vent actually looks bad ass in black and ties in with the car well. I feel it gives of vibes of the cars history.

As I recall. If you are going to run coilovers, there are some reinforcements you need to make so the chassis doesn't rip apart. If I recall the guys name who makes a very thorough kit, I will forward it to you.
An, if you can't relocate the gas fill, the race car setup is to put the fill in the upper middle of the hood.

Don’t worry about the identical kits. They will still have their own energy. That freaking purple amazing awesomeness color is setting that car far apart. That’s like the sickest color ever awesome. Don’t wreck it. That’s gonna be your like solo drift car. Don’t use it in competitions events but not competition no tandems, no door marks no wall scrapes, you know. Or I’m the winner of that car from the drawing that you had. feels good

That FDF vent actually looks really good on the 36. The black goes well with the other black accents.

M539 is in Europe. There's way more Maseratis with this engine in the US

He said the pro car wouldn’t be ready this season when he started it. Come October or November I’ll bet we see the focus shift if he doesn’t put it off until the last minute. You just know things will come up and it will be a scramble in march to get it finished.

It’s function over fashion. I think the louvers look good. What makes them look good is knowing why they’re there.
Touch those rivet heads up in black and it will look good with the livery. The 911 is going to be a really bad ass one off build, can't wait till Jimmy has the time to dive in deep.
Cut up the body structure below the windshield to put the tank. You’ll just be heating the gas. Plus you can put cool hood vents with ducts to release all the heat from the radiator release all the heat to avoid cooling problems and allow a smaller radiator
I personally love the look of the vent with the lip on the bumper.

Jim, when you duct the radiator, you may want to louver the lower duct panel so the fans can draw air when your not moving
Run clear coolant lines through the center console so that you can see the coolant. Killer glass used to sell them
The new 13 could rock some simple black 57dr's with the pink spoke sticker, lip extensions with pink edge tape (if can get the right pink tone), offset livery with something that makes it pop

Heat shield the fuel cell and maybe wrap it with fiberglass so it doesn't get hot from the rad, hood vents could help like crazy
I actually love the vents on the hood, especially in trim black. It makes the car look more aggressive, but more black rivets would make it look much better lol. Lovin the e36 content. But i still miss the holiday/country O stickers

Hood vent looks great. It's a cool concept. Could be different I guess, but it definitely fits in.
Not sure on the rivets. I probably would've tried glue or something similar, but when Jimmy switches for black ones they won't stand out as much.
for the Porsche fab your own k member in the front that disconnects and also mounts your radiator and part of your fuel cell.
I wish B Hall could come back and build this Porsche with you, just like nissonda. Having the addition of spoon is the cheat code, half the time spent.

I'm all for the hood vent, it looks good to me. And it's actually open enough to where it might aid in keeping the (underhood) temps down.

Put the raceline kit in for final bout. Then fit the new kit and keep the raceline spare for the 'retired' coupe
that vent would look 100x better molded in and paint matched. the size and the style of it fit the car very well imo

I say modify the fuel cell by clipping the front bottom corner off so the fan has an easier time to slip in under it

Bro finned aluminum tubing for coolant transfer lines from the back to the front use all that distance to help cool
With the Vent... give it the Steel-it treatment, fins or the edge. as you have some silver accents also
