  • I visited St. Augustine Florida to fish with another TH-camr, "Miles Away Fishing" for a collab at salt run.
    I caught multiple species while Miles was catching the targeted species; sheepshead.
    I had a great time fishing with Miles, he is a very knowledgeable angler that has tuned in to the area and has been very successful with catching sheepshead.
    Go check out "Miles Away Fishing" and be sure to subscribe.

    Wowwww he seriously knows how to catch those sheepers!
    Great flounder catching on your part, very nice.
    I fished the salt run twice while I was there but only caught a couple short flounder. I liked fishing it though!

      They sure are; I’m gonna keep trying.
      It took me a while to catch one, now to get consistent at it and get some keepers 😃👍🎣

      Next time you visit fish salt run; lots of good spots all throughout that area.
      If you don’t have a kayak I’m pretty sure they rent them at Anastasia State Park 🎣👍

    Great video. Just wondering why you didn’t use the fiddlers crabs first?

    • @GetOutTheHouseGoFish
      @GetOutTheHouseGoFish  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used them through out the day; kept getting taken and I was alternating between the fidlers and sand fleas; I just kept getting the catches on the fleas and the last catch with the little sheepshead was actually on a Fidler crab

      Glad you enjoyed it. I’m always learning new techniques. That was the first time fishing docks with sand fleas and they did pretty well even though I wasn’t catching the targeted species.
      Miles limited out using just fidlers 🎣
      Miles said you’ll get more sheepshead hitting the fidlers than the other fish.
      Turned out true because I was getting multiple species and he was only catching black drum and sheepshead 👍

    We all have our ways, a quarter inch jighead death grip is all I use and we catch and win tournaments here in Mississippi you should try it. Your leader to me is too thick. I use Yozuri pink floro carbon
