@BlackSpittingCobra The old rods were $169, much beefier handles and the kevlar wrap made it stronger, but the NEW flats blue rods have so much more than the old rods.
i just bought the flats blue signature series rod and then you come out with another signature series. Is there a difference between them or is it just a different color.
Here in Jersey when a Flounder is a left hand Flounder it is called a Fluke, And when it's on the right side it is a Flounder, they are actually different species.

@rolltide545 To catch a flounder, use D.O.A. CAL jigs bounced on the bottom slowly on sandy bottoms.
@taweel85 toothy = wire (kingfish, cudas) everything else, use flourocarbon.
@TheHouldsonNator Check the video response below for the full Rig It Right segment from this show.

I know it's been a few years since you left this comment, but I should inform you that all fluke are flounder, but not all flounder are fluke.

Boy i wish fluke (what we call summer flounder up here in NY) were 12" go keep...we got 18" limit
They really shouldn't be kept that small anywhere
What do you use to catch cobia
what type of rod and line did you guys use to get that kingfish?
+Nojan B 7'9" Flats Blue rod with 20lb braid.

Taste good too!
@@addictivefishing until you watch one swim up an eat a turd you just sloshed out your bucket.....
@AddictiveFishing to get flounder
Can't beleive you wear bright clothes when fishing.
On a boat in open water, you want to wear colors that can be seen. The colors aren't going to deter a fish more than the boat.
