Again another great video. And I like your bonus footage. I have a Schumacher Fusion 21 that I love doing speed runs with. Don't know how fast it goes but I have hit more granite curbing than I'd like to count and rebuilt that front end in my sleep. But I wouldn't have it any other way...Keep having fun!

That was impressive! It seemed to have no issues with the different size felony hoons. Looked like they helped the performance.
yea it really did and wanted to try it since others were not acting right. by me doing this I know it may give you guys a few ideas for what you can do in the future and what this platform is capable of

Ideally not advisable coz it rubs the front tires more due to them spinning faster than the rear ones.
The center spool equally distributes power to all 4 wheels.
In contrary, a center diff would have evened the front and rear wheel rotations

Is your shock tower bent? Looked like it from the video.
The offset isn’t the problem, it’s the difference in diameter front to rear since you don’t have all four tires the same. You have the Felony setup, which is 100mm front, 107mm rear. With a spool (locked center) you MUST run equal tires all around.
I am well aware of that but didn't have same set of tires with me so ran what I had

I put some tekno rc springs on my talion EXB. So much better. 80mm in front. 90 in rear. Tekno orange springs and 80wt. But I am launching it off big jumps.
Yell at times I try to keep these as close to some of the box so I can figure a shins as possible. Every now and then I'll throw in like a gear change like I did with this one but I'm going to take it back to his box. Configuration and do some runs and just a bit and then I'll look at some modifications like what you suggested here.
Awesome video I have a fully molded carbon fiber chassis on my kraton ExB from hotdog customs would be epic to see one on talion.

So you changed tires, removed wing, changed gearing, and changed out electronics? So what makes this a Talion still, the body? How is different from a kraton or typhon speed wise?

New to the hobby I have this Same car definitely like the speed u got out of yours in this video what 2200kv motor did u use to go with the160a esc or would I be able to get in the 80s with the stock 2050kv and put a spool gear in maybe 46t or 44t without going into thermal?
You can get a 80s out of the stock setup just watch your temps.
Ok I was gonna put a 46t or 44t spool on it and some src tires or foams would that help with a speed increase
@@younghandsome225 I would do a center diff instead of the spool. The reason being if you're going to run it just in general the spool is going to put more strain on your gears. Unless you just going to do speedruns then spool will be fine

with the 23t it is good. with higher hearing it can be issues

Why u take the wing off thought isn't it supposed to give you downforce. On my Kraton I went 1-1 34-34 I haven't been able to find a place big enough to run. Lol.

Fastest i got on the stock version with the speed gear was 74 mph
that's what i got if I recall.
That's unusually fast for the 20t. I got 78 mph with a 24t using stock wheels.
You built a whole new car! Truthfully why you not running the original system? Mine and I noticed others are being really nice and not saying the system that’s coming with the new exb is junk! How can we trust your reviews if not completely honest? I have the outcast 6sexb and been broken more than running! People will see your car and think they will get something similar out the box! So tell them and me why and what problems you had!!!
Stock electronics are just ok .... You really need to add good fans to keep the temps down running such a high gear ..... Even 8s systems need good fans ..... Motors and esc get extremely hot really quick.... 👍
what are you talking about? are you not listening to what is said in these videos? I have had no issues with the stock system but everyone, guess besides you, knows it cannot run the type of gearing I have in here. look at the subject line and you will see some of the changes. ppl like you crack me up trying to act like you are exposing a lie or something in our videos. go back to some of my earlier videos and see the box stock runs there and some facts straight b4 coming at me like this 👩🙄.

@@ikey4ya just searched on my superspeed Saturdays and then the vehicle name. You'll see that and that's one of the main reasons why I do these super speed Saturdays is to test these cars and their box configuration and then I go back and do some mild modifications to see what kind of speeds we get with them. But I always go back and forth between stock configurations and then throwing something like this in here every now and then and you will see that and all of my videos. No one including myself really wants to spend thousands of dollars on trying to get a car to o 150 when you can spend 1/4 of that and go in the 120s
