- FINALLY a new Talion from Arrma in the EXB line and a RTR! Such a beautiful truck as all the EXB's with an awesome body design and all the 7075 goodies. The new Katar tires are belted which is a great upgrade to keep the ballooning down, better the handing and give longevity to the tires! it was an honor to give this baby her her maiden send session and bash! Hey man could you do a vid on your cleaning process? Everyone has a slightly different ritual and I’m curious to see what you do
Air compressor
No no no.... simple green & water. Rinse, dry with leaf blower then WD40 silicone oil and wipe with rag...
Here's how I do mine.
I remove electronics. Soak in wd40 for 10 minutes, use a hose with a decent pressure to rinse.
Dry with a leaf blower and then spray/soak the entire car with silicone lube. Let sit over night and reinstall electronics.

Yes I know they're "water proof" but the fact of the matter is; water is corrosive.
They may be "waterproof" but they're not "corrosion proof"
It'll still add unnecessary wear on certain parts even though they're "waterproof". Hence why I still remove them.

As someone who has been into Rc's for over 20 years, I truly believe that the Arrma Talion is the best truggy there is. The way this truggy was engineered is truly impressive. It's low stance and wide body helps it with stability. From the 7:00 min mark to 7:08 the Erevo, would've flipped over a couple times without a doubt.. I love the Arrma Talion

Im very impressed with it. The only thing that would worry me is those engines seem to poke out from the chassis. I use to own a savage back in the day and I loved how everything was safely tucked away. Then again this Talion is for sure lighter and that there could make it more durable say then a savage x xl flux v2 ? I also love the HPI Vorza S truggy but that one does not come with a center support brace like this Arrma Talion. Man o man it seems harder then ever for today for me to pick a new one. These trucks I mentioned Im torn between witch one id want. Any help or tips from you would be great ! As you have been in the hobby longer then me and have this wicked truck.
Man I don’t understand why they discontinued it, I’m looking at one for sale in great condition for $500. Never bashed and looks brand new, I wanna pull the trigger pretty bad but nervous since they discontinued it. Anyone think it’s still worth buying in 2024?

These things look like they could be good competing on a track. Makes sense since they're pretty much evolved from old team durango 8th scale trucks. I got the solid axle monster truck bug and sold my xmaxx and v3 kraton and my slashes to get a couple smt10's and an smt10 builders kit.as fun as they are you can't go too crazy with em. Looking at this or the maxx. I gotta say the maxx looks like it's one of the toughest bashers out there but I also really love the 8th scale buggy/truggy platform. Was even thinking about getting an associated or losi truggy and making it a basher but i dunno yet!

Is the rear wing any different from the old v3 versions? Love the thought of those belted Katars, how anyone could hate on this design I do not know, it just is so much fun having the speed and handling, plus tough as nails. Hopefully this will project the Talion to where it should be on top of the list for many bashers out there!

Awesome rig and video. Looks very tough. I don’t read to much complaints about that Arrma made it a RTR. I am a bit dissapointed about that. Happily I still can buy the Kraton still as a roller.

Why is the Cool EXB an RTR and not a Roller.... Makes me sad. Not too mention that it's $200 more than the regular Talion. Guess I'll get the 6S Kraton EXB and make it into the Talion lol

Why doesn't Arrma just include the 4mm m2c chassis and just sell it for a grand. Cheap asses. If we pay near a grand for an rc car we shouldn't have to replace the chassis. Most people will use this how you do. When arrma upgrades chassis again I'll buy one. They can call it super exb

What is the difference between talion and kraton? They seems very similar. Seems like it's mostly lower ground clearance due to shocks mounted differently which you can do on kraton too? Itching to buy a 6s EXB arrma, but can't make up my mind between kraton, outcast, and talion.

Sick rig dude , arrma just need to get rid of those silly little motor mount screws . I’ve stripped 5 of 6 in three different rigs , even after heating, tapping and using high quality Allen keys, ( hex head ) I’m Aussie. 😂 had to hacksaw a straight cut into the top and use a flat head while literally standing on it to crack em loose. They give you the option to change pinion but from factory they use that shit white lock tight with those dumb button head screws . Anyway nice job sending the new exb.

Arrma just keeps knocking it outta the park. Kudos to them for offering a RTR EXB. I think that's a very good marketing choice for them. If your in the mood to build one special then you have that option to get a roller. If you don't want to mess with that just go buy it ready to go right out of the box. I think arrma should sell all of their line as kit options also. They could bring the price way down and when you build them yourself they seem to hold up better.

She's a tad bouncy with the belted Katars. Perfect on flat dirt and street. Might experiment with thinner shock oil.

I got talion exb, they must of sent you an unbreakable version. LOL, I broke rear arm and front arms, and I had to get m2c shock mounts mine broke as I uloosed them, and these jumps are not as high and far as yours, Arma tuff my #$$ 😂

Well the two are complete different trucks! The Vorteks is more budget friendly and easier to work on! Also runs on 3s.

Jumping at such heights reminds me of flying a drone, but the drone rarely falls ...I think it would be good if they were giving away these cars for free for testing, but the fun would end quite quickly, I think what forces work there ... You know gravity is absolute and you just need to jump from 2 meters to see about it
