Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a sequel to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, an open world game taking place on a fictional island called Auroa. Unlike past games, there is no briefing of the mission and push the true survival experience to the test while overcoming the dangers on a remote island.
Takes place 4 or 6 years after Operation Kingslayer in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Somewhere in the South Pacific lies the remote Auroa Archipelago, a vast land of diverse biomes that range from lush rainforests to snowy peaks. Now, it’s home to Skell Technology, an enigmatic technology giant. EDIT: It seems like alot of people are not understanding the words that are coming out of my mouth in this video. I never said the G28 Scout was the BEST WEAPON in the entire game, I said it was MY NEW FAVORITE weapon in the game. Meaning that it fits my personal preference more than all these other weapons people keep name dropping. The one shot kill is just a nice bonus, but that's not the only reason why it's my new favorite weapon. I enjoy the G28 Scout because of the look it has, the attachments I can equip, the high mobility, etc. I've tested alot of the weapons some people are saying are better than the G28 Scout, and that video will release soon.. but some of you may be disappointed in my opinion about em because to me, the G28 Scout is still better.. it just fits my playstyle. At the end of the day, there is NO BEST WEAPON.. it comes down to personal preference and people's playstyle.

Also my favorite sight for the gun is a digital sight and I love it.
@@ericneuens No, I think medic 10 is how you get the 416 Scout.. let me correct you there buddy. I know this because my brother (who literally just started playing a few days ago) got the weapon last night from Marie's shop.. or atleast thats where he told me he got it, from the blueprint section. Either way, he's not medic 10 and he was using it last night when we was recording some more epic co-op gameplay.
@@ericneuens VC16, the one I used in the video, is better in my personal opinion. It's a 1x/6x scope when the digital is only a 1x/4x. Also, I think the laser sight sits on the side rail with the digital but sits on the top with the VC16.. the laser is more accurate when it's on the top rail, but if your playing with crosshairs on then you don't even need a laser.

@@freestaterocker This is true, they added a bunch of people to the delta company that could care less about the game but won't accept me.. although I haven't attempted to join in almost a year tbh. Maybe they would now considering everything, who knows. They got people who don't play the game, who don't care about the game, people with 200 subs, blah blah blah.. I don't think they truly care about the community like they say they do.. sure, they have fixed a few things but they keep adding things people are not asking for. Where's the ghillie hood? Where's the option to wear a helmet with a gas mask? Where's the option to raise the hood on the hoodie? Why is there still enemies in the wrong place 2 people's screens in co-op? Why haven't we been given a rappel from choppers option yet? What's up with every door being wide open or automatic? I wanna kick a door down! LoL The bullet lure shouldn't be infinity, should remove a round from your ammo count every time you throw 1. If your character has a bandage, you should have the option to remove it after 6-12 hours of in-game time has passed but only at a bivouac can you remove.. makes sense for a video game. Need more special orders for specific ai teammates. Should be allowed to choose who and how many at teammates you want with you. The Immersive Mode needs to be more immersive.. add the option to turn on off bullet refill when you enter a bivouac.. could even add a option to where you can craft bullets, or bow and arrows from wood you've picked up. It's ghost recon, but they advertised it as a survival tactical shooter.. the enemies should be effected if you have dark mode turned on. They should also be effected by the weather, and should add nvgs to certain enemies.. maybe even add a new class of enemies that specifically come out at night with nvgs. Etc etc. I can go on and on.
@@FrankTastic I liked wildlands when the enemies would actually go to sleep at night time, I would go into a unidad base and kill them in their sleep. Why they take that out
Edit: Oh and one shot kills to enemies who aren't on alert, gives the feel they didn't have their body armor on yet.
Oh and how about select fire on all guns, unless they're specific to gun in real life, (single shot and 3 round burst option), and All sights available on all guns. They got that dumbass kobra red dot sight, the Russians don't even use that optic anymore, that thing is antiquated. ALL OF THESE THINGS WERE DEFAULT IN WILDLANDS! they were already in the game! Why take it out?!?!
I mainly play sharpshooter class. G28 Scout is my 2nd fav DMR behind Scorpio Scout in the game. Its an awesome and fun gun in the game for sure.
G28 is love
Ive used the standard g28 for a long time. Has never let me down.
Only big difference between the Standard G28 and the G28 Scout is the mobility. I personally prefer higher mobility since I typically do close-med stealth infiltration. I like to have some speed when I do the "tactical walk" [moving while aiming] The Standard G28 is pretty slow compared to the G28 Scout.. and that is probably the only reason I can currently think of that places the G28 Scout above the Standard G28 in my book. Both come from the G28 family and both are great weapons.
@@FrankTastic agreed. you tend to infiltrate far more than i do from what i see. ive been useing the standard G28 on the sharpshooter class and playing more as a marksman/scout than a full heavy sniper. so scout version suits you more.
Ive used standard G28 for a long time before to find the MK14 Assault. This weapon is amazing!
G28 is smooth
I’ve been rocking the L115A3 and the scar 17. They’ve been a really good combo for me. The pistol I’ve been using is the MK23, it’s my favorite pistol in and out of the game.

The G28 is legit try out the wolves version or the scout version with the green cloth over it ... both are very good.
If you like the g28 you have to try out the mk14. Also you get the g28 automatically without doin anything.
MK14 Assault is *life*
@@freestaterocker agree. MK14 Assault with short barrel (actually makes no difference to range or bullet drop ), vc16 scope, rangefinder and shift hand grip is the best all rounder I've found.
Recently started playing Ghost Recon and I was able to purchase the regular (non-scout variant) and the damage is insane. Much better than the ARS that I've been using and even this version is a center mass killer. One shot to center mass and enemies are down. Great info and one of the main weapons I will utilize until I find/purchase the scout variant. Thanks for the info. Ive been searching for the "right" weapon for my stealth play style and this is it.
the scout version offers better mobility and recoil than the non scout.
MAn to be honest, you make me love that game. I used to play COD. But watching you playing change completelly my vision of That game.
I already tried it but i never touched it again till i found your videos. I restarted to play maybe 3 weeks ago. And i can't stop now lol .
And there's soooo many missions compared to COD series. So you dont' have time to get annoyed.

It must have been nurfed! Takes me 2 to 3 body shots at close range to kill with this exact same setup. All my setting are down on easy as well
I like using SBR ARs for a lot of the same reasons except I love the "2" tap body kills instead of one for a little bit more "realism" imo, especially on the "extreme" settings of this game.
I prefer headshots, it's what I'm used to.. but now using this weapon which is a one shot.. I'ma try to aim more around the heart area if I'm doing a body shot.
From the video I thought the UMP45, funny thing I just started using the G28 Scout from the regular G28 today, and this video is now on my recommendations lol. Yeah, this gun is really cool to use, my new favorite as well

I'm generally surprised by this. I've used DMRs a bunch in both GR games but didn't think the G28 was that good. One-shot in leg was shocking. Used it for mid to long range so I'll have to try it again. Thanks for posting!
i did unlock the g28 scout and almost maxxed it to level 3 but I am not getting the one shot kills infact I end up shooting multiple times or I must me doing something wrong here.
My go to weapon is the 416 scout. I like the g28 wilderness too. I don't have the choice to give it a try now. Thanks! 👍🏼
I love the 416 scout, but after this.. the G28 Scout definitely moved past it on my best weapons list.

G28 Scout your on the rigt way, my favorite is the G28 Standart, i killed over 60000 Enemies in Breakboint with it
In my load out, since I'm a sniper and a pretty good one if I may say so myself, I got: TAC50 sniper rifle, Silver Stake (regular) AR and the USP tactical pistol. The TAC is awesome with its accuracy and furthest range in class but it isn't really mobile and the recoil isn't the best but I'd choose range and accuracy over recoil and mobility all day everyday 😎
Different playstyle.. if your sniping from a distance then you don't need mobility because your not moving. If I'm choosing to sniper, the Tac50 is the best option in my opinion.. but prefer the second primary to be a SMG for that mobility. I Don't need those accuracy or recoil bonuses if majority of my close range kills with a smg or pistol are headshots. 😎
@@FrankTastic exactly correct my friend! Thank you for the response and you're right, the secondary should technically be an SMG to compensate for the crappy mobility... But they aren't as powerful as an AR unless you have a good recommendation for a great SMG I'd love to hear it!

I've been saying the g28 is soo good it was go to in wildlands and when I got it in breakpoint it was the only DMR I used besides obviously the scorpio scout which is just a must
I've been religiously using my baby the TAC50 but I've heard many good things about the Scorpio Scout I'd have to test it out sometime! The AUG scout btw isn't that good if you ever try it.

I have this gun with the same attachments, and its maxed out. It does not one shot kill with anything but head shots. Am i missing something? Is range a factor? I'm taking my shot from mid-range by the way.
I've been using it recently and noticed the same thing; I feel like they nerfed it a bit tbh.
The DMR's are frequently overlooked weapons. I guess everyone loves their pew pew bang bang guns.

I really really love the honey badger brown, because its light, it fits my german special force outlook and it has 7,62 ammo too... when i use two wepons the g26 was always my first choice... maybe i try the scout version next time...
The standard honey badger is 2-3 shots to the body while in stealth. Can't remember if the Honey Badger Brown is any different but I'll definitely test it out.
@@FrankTastic The Honey badger is 7.62x35/.300 AAC BLK, it is less powerful than the 7.62x51 G28 round. It should be comparable with the 7.62x39 AK round.
Just switched to that weapon today will give it a go tonight. Looks like, a beast of a DMR

To get the g28 scout all u need to do is go to Maria’s shop at erewhon and got blueprints buy the blueprint for 15000 and then build the gun for 800
It’s not in the shop anymore with the other blueprints 😞, only other I see that’s close to it is the Honey Badger

I think this is the showcase of what Ubisoft meant when they said, " Stealth will be rewarding and you can deal more damage to enemies." When you were stealthy and sentinels weren't alert of your whereabouts, you dealt more damage. Whereas when you removed your suppressor and went loud, you had to hit 3 leg shots to kill one dude. (Doesn't make sense at all.. But, it's Ubisoft logic xD)
I think that's almost any game logic tbh. Luckily in GRB, A headshot is still a headshot.. no matter what.. but almost every game out there has some sort of "stealth damage bonus" and when you get into open combat, the damage is normal. It's like that in.. well.. almost every game.

I didn't take a guess but G28 scout has been my fav stealth weapon since release so solid choice imo can't disagree with myself :') Perfect balance for me between long and midrange engagements nice handling and fast enough to be able to pump another 2 down if you fuck up so very forgiving weapon as well. I can hit snipes on the 300-350 meters range with some elevation which should be plenty for most use cases unless you're actively trying to get a longshot record or some shit. It actually doesn't make a lot of noise at all for a marksman rifle which is very good if you need to whip it out in the middle of cleanup duty in the camp. I use it with the dual 3x to red dot sight as well so you can swap long to mid-range with a single tap of the B button. A great segway to return some single tap fire to get into cover where you can whip out the ASR when you're made. Also, a great tool to take down tanks double-tapping heads has never been easier.
You should try runs that trigger the radio operator to call in backup. I was guessing either the 416 scout or G28, I haven't gotten the G28 scout yet. I just switched to the 416 scout as my primary with iron sights. Tac-50 as secondary. SC-IS as my handgun.
The G28 Scout blueprint was originally a season pass reward.
Since the season pass for cancelled for being cancer, the rewards for the first two seasons were given to everyone who buys the game, even those who purchased it after the cancellation.
TL;DR: everyone already has it.
My brother who is new to the game had to get it at Marie's shop last night when we were playing some co-op. I guess people who already was playing received it though? Either way, I love the weapon.
@@FrankTastic ah see, I know a few people who bought the game after the season pass cancellation who still for all the rewards, but they probably set a cut-off for that, instead of making the stuff free for all time...
Does your brother also have the M4A1 Tactical? That was one of the final first season rewards, and afaik it's never appeared in the store..

@@freestaterocker We were talking the weapons last night while we were playing, he was wanting to try out different ones to see which one he likes the best. He got the G28 Scout and the M4A1 Assault.. I don't know if he got the M4A1 Tactical but I do remember him mentioning it because he was asking me my opinion on it. The conversation all went down while he was looking in Marie's Shop so that's where he got the weapons.. in the Blueprint Section.
I'd have to jump in and compare the M14 Assault and this to test their range options (sometimes a bit of sniping is a must), but I'm still a fan of the M14 Assault... My only real complaint is I did buy the one from the shop, then later earned the other through the Sniper leveling and the one you buy has slightly better stats (in range and recoil if I recall)... I got the default one so I could customize the look, so that little detail does kinda frustrate me lol. I will still have to test this weapon just to make an educated decision as I don't think I've used it yet either because I've had the M14 Assault.
Comes down to personal preference at the end of the day and what fits the players playstyle.

I wonder if the 1-hit body shot in stealth also applied before they increased damage from stealth. I remember you making a deal out of that in the update trailer. I don't remember your exact words, but you asked why increased damage was necessary when you could already 1-shot headshot someone.

I think it depends on the night vision goggles. Frank is using the splinter cell goggles ( if I'm not mistaken )

Ahh.. perhaps they made it available, and the others, after they ended the Battle Tier rewards.
Maybe.. he got the G28 Wilderness too, pretty sure that was definitely a reward. Don't think he has the splinter cell mask that I wear all the time though and that was a reward during the resistance live event.

Both Luttrell and Axelson used a 5.56 Mk 12 Mod 1 SPR with Harris bipods, AN/PEQ-2 IR designators, Leupold MR/T scopes and suppressors. The closest comparable rifle to the G28/M110A1 CSASS would be the SR25/Mk 11 Mod 0/M110 SASS

Ano its a month later but just recently got the game and this g28 scout👌 works a treat in stealth also nice shooting those head shots are on point guess I need to keep practicing the shooting and work my way up to extreme difficulty mode but this is now my new fav weapon thanks to you 👏

I use DMRs quite a bit, but never used this one, how effective is the damage at long ranges, and when I say "long ranges" I up to 200-250 meters

Has this been nerfed? I started playing this week and just got this weapon. It's just mine def does not one shot from any body part.

You get better over time i play on playstation and can hit quick headshots back to back if you constantly clear out bases or just play some of the side missions it'll become second nature
