Why would you ever need to walk to MBK? If you're on the MRT already, get off at either Silom or Sukhumvit, then transfer to Saladaeng or Asok and get on the BTS to either National Stadium or Siam, and you only need to walk 5 minutes max.

The South Korea’s system is better in your regard is because it is very straightforward and run in straight lines. Our train transportation uses both the subway (MRT) and sky train system (BTS). So to get to your destination depends on which system you are using also. To get to the MBK center by using the subway, you are not going to get there because it does not run past the MBK. You have to change to the sky train system. Yes, I agreed that there should be more signs to designate the direction.
