I actually started playing with the lowest tier planes again. I hadn't touched some since I started way back when. It's surprisingly fun! The turn rate in the P-35 is *insane*. You should definitely revisit the low tier planes some time.

I think the back gunners in arcade mode are broken. If you shoot enemy planes it doesn’t do any damage. Idk if its on purpose or just a glitch buts it’s annoying because you have to rely on AI
I Think The Gunship Sequel Must Increase The Speed Of The Zero(1000G Version) Especially The A6M3 Zero Needs Increase Speed Upto 651 KPH To Catch Up To More Faster Aircraft In The Game Now
Just have to be patient. Boom and zoom, don't try to turn with anyone. Get high, swoop down to shoot and get back up again. It took me a while to learn the lead from a distance but it'll come if you do it enough.

Try to adjust the settings to make the plane more easily controlled. The more you fly, the easier it gets.
