I've been to paris as a child, to be honest I dont remember much from those times, so coming back as a consiouse adult is interesting.
Paris is over romanticized, otherwise how would you explain the Paris syndrome? But now I understand why :D Paris has its beauties and flaws

Bir-hakeim bridge is one of my favorite spot in Paris :)
- great view of the tower
- it's an iron bridge (fits the tower's material)
- no scammers/pick-pocket
- less crowded
- couples with photographers taking their wedding/honeymoon photos there,
giving the place a real romantic atmosphere
- the metro passing on the bridge (easy access)
the only difficulties are avoiding the bikes and trying not to accidentally ruin the wedding photos.
Randomly watching this and I love the format and how friendly you are. Definitely something I would share with my friends who are too afraid of solo travelling.
The length of this video tickles my brain in a good way.

If you spent 30 seconds in front of each artwork in the museum, it would take you about 200 days to see everything, assuming the museum was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! The Louvre houses over 35,000 works displayed across 72,735 square meters.
location 6 was one of my fovorite place to take a photo too, fun fact one of the most prominent scene from the movie "inception" actually shot on that bridge. amazing view. thanks for showing us, thanks Erika

That over night Flixbus gave me flashbacks, I once took one to Amsterdam and it was actually about 2h late, nothing like waiting for hours at a bus station in the middle of the night and I don't understand how anyone could sleep in those. Somehow Flixbus achieved to make me appreciate Deutsche Bahn.

Another great video Erika! How do you cope with being alone while traveling? I also wanted to do it so often but somehow I won't go in the end. Don't exactly know why but a part of it is maybe the fear of being alone and not having anyone to share the things you get to do.

I highly recommend going to the Louvre. Even if you make a list of a few key pieces you want to see and spend just a short time seeing those few.

I was a bit hesitant to visit Paris alone, but I guess free travel (D-Ticket Strasbourg-Paris) and your video convinced me to visit. I'll be there on 27th morning, lets see how this goes

@@helloerika I enjoyed it as well, Paris was great 4.2/5 , ~45K steps. I took pictures for like 5 different people and 3 groups, but for myself took only selfies cause introvert, afraid to ask someone to take a picture.Travelling to Paris was kind of meh!, but since it was free, can't complain much. I had to wait in Strasbourg for 4 hrs , but I took a bike there and explored Strasbourg while waiting. For French food I tried a croissant, that's it. And the rest were something from Lidl or KFC/McDonalds , Louvre was a charm in the evening, Pantheon was good, the Church was nice , also went to the summit of Eiffiel Tower and secretly launched a paper plane while no one was looking😜. French sounded very sexy but could not understand anything except for Bonjour ,Monsieur, Madame and Pardon. 2 days 1 night trip to Paris and Strasbourg done for under 80€ 🥳 and it felt really like home to be back and hear "Sehr geehrte Fahrgäste, der Zug von Strasbourg nach Karlsruhe ist leider 20 minuten später " or whatever it they say... Ich liebe Deutschland !

I was in Paris alone a few years ago.. to be fair I have no friends and I always travel alone. Scotland is still my #1 solo destination, Paris was fine for one week tho.
