You can see just how incredibly proud your mom is of you by way she watches you while you’re talking to the camera. Your parents seem so sweet and down to earth, and I love that you have such a great relationship with them.
I don't think its wierd that you don't drink. My husband has never had a drink and he's 48. His dad was an alcoholic and he decided at a very young age that drinking was not for him. I do drink occasionally, but I never feel that great after, even if it's just a glass of wine. I totally agree about the food too. I would much rather eat more food than have a drink. 100%.

I know you say you’re very “type A” 😊, but I just want to mention how proud I am of you for loosening up on your grip with emails and work and structure and allowing more time for yourself to live. (subscribed for about 3 years now so I’ve def seen this transition). I know this season is hard and bittersweet (I’ve been in your shoes), but, coming from someone who is years out of that season, the growth you will witness in yourself after a few years you will genuinely cry at how thankful you are for the way you’re life ended up. Life has a funny way of tearing us apart and molding us into someone we are so thankful to be and wouldn’t have ever met this future version of you without heartbreak and losses. Love your thoughts on drinking! I'm in my late 30's and don't drink. Just don't need it, it's so expensive and definitely not healthy. My husband is the same. You have been through so much and if you haven't had the urge to drink, you should be ok! It doesn't make life go away. It makes you stronger dealing with problems without "help". 🙂

I am very proud of you for going to the movies by yourself. I lived in London for a while after my first breakup, since I didn’t know anyone at the beginning I frequently went to dinner, events, parties, classes etc. on my own. Although it was quite uncomfortable a lot of the times, most people I met during those ‚outings‘ where really impressed that I was brave enough to do those things on my own, I hope this helps making it feel less scary 💛

You can go to a craft store that does framing and have them cut you a new piece of glass for the shelf in the ikea cabinet (just take another shelf for them to use as a template). My husband broke one of our wedding lanterns and got a replacement piece cut and you could not tell a difference!
I started drinking at 27 (aka a year and a half ago). I already had all of my seven kids and I had just gotten my Master’s, my twins had just self-weaned so I tried it, I liked it and now I do the occasional Margarita. My point, you can do whatever makes you happy and fulfills you. As long as you’re not hurting anyone, as in actually hurts them, you do you! 💗

I have never been drunk. And people around me always think that is weird. The most I’ll have is like one every couple of months. Im glad that it is becoming a thing to not drink.
Yes!! Every time I tell people I have never been drunk it’s like mind boggling to them. I just don’t like the feeling of not being in full control of myself. I will have a drink every few months maybe if I’m out to a nice dinner or something and that’s plenty for me. Honestly I just really love water 😂 water is always my go to. Refreshing!

Totally agree, and love that there are fun mocktail options nowadays. I never had an interest in drinking alcoholic beverages and had fun times without. Don’t like the taste of most and it isn’t how I prefer to spend my money.

I visited Austin almost 3 years ago. I went to Mozarts. I found out I lost my mom while I was there. Seeing that footage makes me sad...but I also remember how calm and peaceful it was that day. It is so beautiful there. ❤

Omgosh your mom lol!! She sounds like I was. I was such a trouble maker with my friends. I do not drink either. I did when I was younger high school/college age. Honestly it makes me tired and gives me a headache. I don’t mind if others drink, I have my alcohol free go to drinks, which I think are even better without alcohol. Good job going to the movies. I love going to the movies by myself, it is so good to spend time and enjoy your own company. So excited to see your next vlog.
I don’t drink by choice. I have always been afraid of loosing control. I want to be aware of what is going on at all times and want to be able to react quickly if necessary. 😊 You and your mom are TOO cute together. 💕😊

You don't have to get underwear made with only cotton, you just have to get ones that have the extra cotton layer sewn into it, they make ones that are nylon/spandex but have the cotton layer sewn in **that area** for the specific reason you had said before, hope that helps!

Love all of this! I am also a non-drinker, having been a weekend drinker in my 20’s and early 30’s (I’m now 50)…I don’t miss it. I’d rather eat my calories, not drink them. People are often perplexed about being a non-drinker. Is it really that odd? And heck, it is expensive!
