Yea but that can also be said for the Spider-Man game that this one was based off of. Alot of what was on that game was carried over to the Spider-Man movie games, but they learned from this and changed this.
I appreciate that they went through the effort of recording different lines for each console's face buttons as opposed to going with the usual "action button" line they use for multiplats.

I remember on Friday and Saturday nights when both of my parents were working back in 2002, I would sit in front of my TV and play this with my dog by my side. It was in that era where I was learning to grow up and depend on myself. Oh how I cherish those evenings and how much I miss my dog 😢
