I agreed what have been said here, I tested last weekend. It felt heavy and not responsive enough yet the knit felt comfortable and good stability. Maybe good for workouts but not for race or long run. Thanks

These are EPIC but for walking, working 12 hour shifts. It’s more of a walking shoe but it’s SUPER COMFORTABLE! It’s way more stable than most any other UA shoe, and the comfort level is great

I don't have options. Having UA brand makes me really grateful and happy.
Built in quality of UA shoes is excellent. I don't have issues with the design.
What I dislike with UA Infinite Pro , which is sibling to Elite version,
is static electricity. I tried different socks.
Perhaps I can blame the weather. But it is small part.
Experience with Adistar CS taught me that styro versions
of the running shoes have that charge as bullet radiation hitting skin.
Other runners of Elite said that heel rubs in, because middle kinda brakes
easily. Idk. I didn't have any issues of that sort in Pro.
I would love that 21st century tech could endure my weight.
Shoes are built for 85 kg. Front is wore down after two weeks.
As a runner I have problem with big weight (105kg) and hamstring on left,
sprain on the right foot. Clicking, popping sounds etc. And that
asymmetry always brakes the right shoe. Foot simply don't sink layer by layer.
But unevenly. Angled, as some incline or something. Rotational heat in foam
due to way of how foot lands, rolls and spring off..I have that one
unnecessarily degree of freedom that takes torque in wrong direction.
Using two motions instead one in moving forward.
That sucks because I am not enabled to feel ride properly.
    As continues rather than discrete.
So my review ain't honest in best, fullest sense.
Black red version of UA Infinite Pro is sick. I love stack. But it is not as firm
as I would like. I love that firm - fast ration relation.
To me it appears that every shoe nowadays last two weeks top.
    Too weak to my taste.
After that it is up to locomotion of a runner to hide from injuries.
So not having those little more expensive(+50 bucks) shoes
    really is not that different.
Because tech we are all found of is not up its game since forever.
As someone who loves science you will disagree. And that's fair.
UA have new Phantom 4, Gemini finally again.
Idk if MAchina 4 will be part of it.
I want to thanks UA for doing their best
and You people on great review. All the best!

Thanks for reviewing this. A lot more comprehensive than some others who were invited to Barcelona and looks like they didn’t have the time to give it a proper test. I want to try UA, but like you said, it feels like most of their shoes are distinctly average, whereas brands like Puma are pushing ahead with great products (good to see Nick still loves the Velocity - I listen to the podcast 😂).

German Puma like Adidas is more focused on runners. UA is targeting gym goers.

The first segment of The Verdict was a really great evaluation of the shoe. I was asking myself where I'd use it and going to the gym, running a mile for warmup before hitting the weights would be a use case. I usually do that with shoes nearing end-of-life though. The only thing that I really like is the generous wide toebox shape. I can't get over how many shoe-brands there are these days.

I've had VERY disappointing experiences with Under Armour, except for the Velocity Wind. Durable certainly, yes indeed, but enjoyable ... far from it!!! Maybe these would feel better for heavier runners? I'm TOTALLY guessing here, but I bet if you had Jane test it, she would hate it and say it had no energy return whatsoever for us lighter ladies.
TOTALLY agree with Kieran that UA should price their shoes MUCH cheaper in order to be competitive because they do not offer the same quality performance as so many other brands!!!

Too many shoes out there that do the same thing as good or better and are much cheaper, Puma for one!

This is the type of shoe that will last FOREVER but won't be particularly interesting to run in. We're talking 600-800mi easy. Hell if it's anything like the adidas Ultraboost it'll last 10yrs AFTER retirement as a casual walking shoe... with practically zero wear.

And the UA velocity elite 2??? Does it hold up as a race shoe???

Decent shoe from the look of it, BUT IMHO £25 to much for me to consider it as an option compared to other less risky options. The prices of daily/easy day shoes has deffo shot up the last few years £140-£175 is the norm unfortunately 😂

I’m overweight and I am looking a for good shoe to jog to lose weight. The super thick sole looks good to me I want to be able to jog without blowing out a knee is this a decent shoe for that? I can’t spend much more than $160 which is what they’re going for

I weight about 89 kgs and I am looking for a pair of running shoes with good cushioning, due to some knee problems. Since i l also lift and practice kickboxing, I usually run once per week for 8-10 km each time. I found the UA infinite elites for 80 euros ( around 88$) and I am thinking of buying them. Should I or are there better alternatives in this price range?

It looks like a Nike Invincible Clone and even the Infinity name (which Nike has another named model) plays on it. Pal World of shoes.

I ran in the velociti wind and don't enjoy it at all. That HOVR foam definitely too firm for me. Under Armour definitely not my cup of tea.

I'm tired of the running shoe world being an eco chamber. People want lighter and higher shoes. On and on.
Under armour delivers something unique and it gets crapped on.
    "Isn't as exciting"
    "No sure I would"
    "Didn't win me over_."
Then go run in the same Brooks ghost/ASICS cumulus/Saucony Ride. All the same shoe.
The weight is a kg bigger? No one is good enough to even notice. Just enjoy the uniqueness and have it in a rotation.
I actually have 50miles on this now and go for it every time over the noosa , Novablast (fast cushion shoe), and cumulus (falling apart). It's the best recovery shoe with this foam

How does the cushioning on these shoes compare to Acsis? These shoes in particular seem geared towards for daily gym rats.

I think these are EPIC for cushion. Walking all day long like a 12 hour shift. Standing etc - these are perfect!! They may not be for runners ( I’ve seen many runners who are picky ) but everyone is different but these are true comfort. It’s the best stability and comfort shoe that UA has made. I’ve worked there 8 years

Under Armour shoes generally look like tanks and bulldozers. Kind of shoes which you would wear in a gym lifting weights. I think that designers of this company deliberately make shoes in that way probably targeting gym oriented people.
