      Good sleep helps, esp as we age. Probably slept well at night knowing he didn’t hide behind lies because he pushed the player to think if the player could handle the truth.

      hm was it really? poole was out as should be and dray still in as should be. What exactly was mismanaged? You forgetting that these players are adults that make their own decisions?

    The mismanagement of the Green/Poole situation occurred before the punch was ever thrown. There was tension in the locker room because several players were up for extension and there wouldn't be enough for multiple players to get their max contracts. And there was various reports on how Jordan Poole was was behaving and how a lot of the Warrior players were tired of his attitude. A coach should have been between Poole and Green as soon as they started yapping.

      There's really not THAT many people that would have access to the footage. It honestly saved them a bit with what ended up happening to Poole.

      If TMZ was able to get their hands on the Ray Rice elevator footage, the Warriors could have figured out who leaked the practice footage.

      @@MarkPerchatsch well just like the ray rice footage this footage was sold to tmz. So I guess you could say tmz leaked it but them not knowing who on staff handed over the footage for a payday.
      The ray rice one is different because that was at a casino and the incident happened MONTHS before TMZ got ahold of it so god knows how many ppl saw those monitors.

    I’ve always said that people shouldn’t be asking questions if they don’t want an answer different than their own. That’s desiring validation, not a true question posed to another.

      Not really in these situations. People have houses and families tied into these situations. I get not wanting to potentially mess up team chemistry over a potential trade thar didn't go through but usually the way these things pan out have the players looking stupid.

      Because it matters more, fights happen all the time (info from former players), but you leak that information it becomes a lot worst for everyone. Fans/Opponents taunting you, business opportunities, need for revenge, tons of stuff that will haunt you your whole life. A contained incident is far better for everyone, as long as it was settled properly.

      You don't know what Jordan Poole was like. The team backing Draymond means Poole was hated by the team and management after the big contract. Some people desereve to be punched!

    Being an NBA GM would be incredibly easy. You only have to find 10 guys and have no minor league to worry about. If you find 3 good players you are set. The amount of downtime in this job would be insane.

      It's no guarantee to win with 3 good players and you need to pay 2 of those players max contracts. You probably can't afford to pay the third player.
