Gonna be the first to say Trey should race Mohican!
What's up boyzzz, appreciate the shoutout!
At Leadville I had never used a drop bag. I tried a crew one year and missed them and that was a disaster. Future years I settled on what I could carry not having enough calories, another bad idea. Then I tried the drop bag. They had it ready before I even stopped my bike. Crazy - now I’m drop bag 100%! Yes don’t be stupid like me…lol
Thanks for the update. Would love a video describing how you train for such a long ride. And Trey should do all mountain bike races.
absolutely loving the race recap videos! i cant think of anyone putting out videos over the NUE races, especially in the tenessee/kentucky/virginia part of the country. hope to see more alongside some gravel/road racing content
Appreciate it! I’ve got Mohican, Wilderness 101, Shenandoah and Pisgah 111k on the schedule to do videos about also!
-Jesse
I enjoyed your video- my races are only 30 miles but I’m listening to you…
The race footage was cool!
“Treys never done a mtb race” *has done Leadville in 2022😂
Haha I think we retconned that.
That’s a gravel race on big gravel bikes!
Looking forward to the upcoming videos man. Tray will be doing Mohican!
Trey should ride Mohican! And the Wicked Wills roll crazy fast I’m not kidding. I bring Burts and Wills to every race and if it’s wet I run the Wills and they roll so fast it’s nuts.
Can confirm. Never ran Burts, but the Wills are….Wicked!
I’m also on team will! One of the best tires I’ve ever used. Just haven’t needed them in a race situation yet. But I highly highly recommend them.
The Burt’s are definitely a decision. Big risk reward factor.
Trey should do Mohican!!!
lol it’s named Big Frog after Big Frog Mountain (where the course is) ….Little Frog is across the highway. 😂 Cohutta 100 named for the Cohutta Wilderness that you basically circumnavigate. 😊
Beta Fuel gels!! This whole setup for these races keep ticking all the boxes.
Trey should do Mohican
@25:16 "This is obviously the best race bike I've ever had...."
(Bizzare) reply from the cameraman: "It's not that obvious..."
Dude, this S-works is $14,500 USD plus tax with every top shelf component possible....
I think Trey was trying to say it’s the best I’ve tested. I still am waiting on flight attendant for my bc40 and there’s a few other bikes I’ll be riding this year to compare against it. Flight attendant really steals the show and I think it’s unfair to compare a flight attendant bike against a non flight attendant bike.
Trey should do Mohican. You're welcome?
Trey go with Mohican and use Swedish 🇸🇪 Maurten fuel
Trey should do Mohican!
Jesse! How are you liking those smith glasses with the photocromic lens? Been looking at a pair, but cant decide. Happy with them? Any downsides, upsides?
Love em. I got them the day before we left for this race and have been wearing them every day sense. The only downside is the full shade mode isn’t as much as normal lenses. I got the Shift XL mags
@@bicyclestation Sound good! Yeah it looks cool seeing them change the darkness during the different conditions you wear them in on video. I usually run two different pair of oakleys depending on weather, and if im just going for trail ride, or more gravel/open road. These might replace both of them for most conditions! Also loved the after race report, definitely wanna see more of these - Always interesting to see the bikes/kit - Maybe you can talk about the kit you are wearing the next time also? Shoes, bibs, gloves?
We can definitely do that in the future. Yea after the ozark doom video kinda blew up we decided to try and my more race recap videos like that one.
@@bicyclestation Yeah really interesting, since you guys definitely get a different perspective than normal 90min racers. Both on bikes, and the equipment you're wearing.
If its comfortable for you for 8hrs, then its most likely very fine for most people doing less than that also
Trey do Mohican
What’s size frames are you guys running?
I ride a medium and trey rides a large
-Jesse
@@bicyclestation What’s the stem length on each?
I’m at 90 -17
Treys at 80 -20
Trey = Mohican
Get Trey on some better tires!!!
