    I honestly don't even know why I'm writing this. But il give it a go, I had the pleasure of mettimg Marc. He is a sincere, humble man. I asked him for an autograph for my little nephew and then he asked me for my address, I was a little shock. But didn't hesitate and wrote it down, a few days later I got a later from him and a picture singed to Diego. My respects and wish him the best of luck.

    I've always thought that Vince really screwed up by not signing Buff Bagwell to a real contract. The guy had a ton of potential, and it's almost like he was tailor made for WWF. You see how well guys like Jericho and Eddie Guerrero, and Rey Mysterio did after the transition, to deny that to Bagwell was just plain stupid.

    • @FerretJohn
      @FerretJohn 10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      OneButton Dash Read the post just above yours for a short description of how he got fired, then listen a little more carefully to this interview. Multiple inconsistencies in Bagwells statements, saying pilots in Desert Storm was touching his picture for luck? Even if Desert Storm wasn't well over by that time the ego to make that claim was just staggering. Bagwell was a midcard wrestler who gained success more by being friends with Nash, Steiner, and Luger and playing the backstage politics. When he moved to the WWE he thought he could play the same games he did in WCW, he was wrong

Social media was NOT big in 2001 and he was still a random, white meat babyface during Desert Storm. Also, history/hindsight has shown us that Shane McMahon "owning" WCW was a work from WWF's side.

    I expected Buff Bagwell in the WWF till now....too bad cause he could have had major feud matches with Kurt Angle, Stone Cold, Booker T and ''The Game'' or Edge.

    I remember when he and Scotty Riggs had their feud and broke up (as many tag groups tend to), and we first saw Bagwell execute the Blockbuster. It was one of the coolest finishes I had seen at the time.

    Buff's mom was NOT tag team champion when WCW went out of business. She was Tag champ with Rick Steiner two years before WCW went out of business. The WCW champions when WCW went out was the Natural Born Thrillers Chuck Palumbo and Sean O'Haire.

    10:46 Buff was right. TNA is not a major wrestling company that can compete with WWE. Hopefully their will be another wrestling company that can compete with WWE in the future.

    • @snowpupy92000
      @snowpupy92000 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Never going to happen. TNA was on the rise for a few years then took a crap. They care currently pushing TNA into the old ECW, even bringing a bunch of those guys back. Will be better than the TNA of the past few years, but a niche, not a competitor for WWE. If a competitor rises, Vince will just buy them.

    • @sethdillard5840

      That's impossible, because most anyone who wants to compete with WWE directly can only conjugate about as well as you can.

    You don't know why you got fired? Let me refresh your memory... You tried pushing around Shane Helms at the WWE gym, telling Helms he was too small to be a success like you and he should go home, and then you slapped him. Pat Patterson heard what you did and told McMahon, McMahon told the APA to give you a humility lesson and stiff you. You then had your mom call Jim Ross and tell him that you couldn't make it to your commitments. That was why they fired you (this isn't grade school, unless you're completely incapable of doing so bosses expect YOU to call in, not your mom), Then the the WWE gave you a generous severence package with a standard 90 day no-compete clause (a holdover from the Monday Night Wars, to prevent talent stealing), which you ignored and booked yourself into an indy show a week later, causing them to revoke your severence pay. Does that help you remember now?

      I was at a Smackdown in Tacoma during the Invasion angle... as the main event went home the Invasion ran in and all hell broke loose... as the cameras went off the show kept on, slowly the majority of the action spilled outta the ring, leavin' only Bagwell in there with Farooq and Bradshaw... for the next five minutes solid we all watched them boys beat the ever-lovin' shit outta Buff Bagwell, to the point where a couple WWF guys tried to stop it and got tossed as well... they left him layin' there in the middle of the ring in a broken heap and the staff and medics dragged him out... it was INSANE... then, Bagwell was never heard from again lol...

      James kong ahh, the angry rantings of the totally ignorant. To answer your question, yes there are different rules for different people, as it is in the real world so is it in the wrestling world. You don't like it? Tough, deal with it. Shawn had 10 times the drawing power Bagwell did, not to mention a YEARS more seniority in the company, and whatever he did to Shane Helms, if he did anything at all, was nowhere near as bad as Buff trying to physically bully him like some pathetic grade-schooler

      PhenomZ Judging by the fact that you started the conversation with a "lol" and the deteriorating grammar at the end I'd say you were born somewhere around the time Bagwell got fired. Regardless of your age, I did not get this from listening to podcasts, it was reported on multiple wrestling news sites at the time it occured, I have heard it mentioned during other interviews, most especially from Jim Ross relating his conversation with Mrs Bagwell afterward, all of which pretty much confirmed the original story. My life is good, maybe you should try and get one.

      James kong A cheap 'faggot' insult from someone whose birth certificate was an apology letter from a condom factory? No, no offence taken. I already knew your intellectual level from your earlier post, the fact that would equate use proper grammar as a homophobic insult does not surprise me.

    Wrestling should've stayed with multiple companies. Vince should've never gotten greedy he should've bought WCW secretly but kept it running. That way they can do whatever they want but Vince kicks back and collects the checks. He should've never killed WCW. WCW was a huge part of my childhood and I wish they were still around today. Sometimes I try to visit WCW. Com to see the old website again but it's gone
