These videos infuriate me. People have the audacity to submit clips of their completely woeful driving capabilities and pass it off to make others look bad.

Yup. Have a dashcam? High chance you're a bit of a tool yourself and/or will drive in a provocative way in the knowledge you're going to "catch" them reacting on video.

Ive got a dashcam. But I never subit clips. Mainly because im not a shoddy driver that thinks im the law of the road to blow a horn when someone makes a mistake. Most of these clips are avoidable by paying a bit more attention, also having a bit more patience. Half the camera cars are just organ donors, In a rush to die.

*The HGV joined the Roundabout with a MASSIVE gap between you both. They are not easy to get going (I know i drive them). The driver slowed enough and managed to keep it rolling on the Roundabout, you hardly had to react, hell you didnt even have to BRAKE.
*That second is strange, the van just stuck his nose out to be able to see. There was more than enough room for you to carry on.
I dont get the reason for ripping up the Handbrake, seems that you are abit unstable to be on the road.

I think he's obviously not had much footage to submit and this is the best he can come up with, petty shit in other words.
Probably goes out driving just to find this crap. I mean he's had that massive near miss with the truck pulling out in front him. I feared for his life. I'm so glad he had cat-like reactions to be able to slow the car down in time. Perhaps he wears binoculars and everything appears really close?

Camera car is totally at fault there, excessive speed, wrong lane, and ignoring the Citroen's indication.

4:15 How about you don't move over a mile before overtaking something? Plus it's illegal to speed up when somebody is trying to overtake you.
Agreed, the driver with the dash cam was a selfish lane-hogger.
I think he did pull over a little early, however the Peugeot driver should have observed a little more and definately not attempted to undertake.
The joys of owning a powerful car, been a few times I've made drivers who try to close a gap on me look silly :D

Thanks for including my clip at 1:48! Someone mentioned that I shouldn't be turning since there is a double yellow line. It was a car park where residents often park, so it was perfectly legal and OK for me to turn in there!!
Perfectly ok for the car to overtake as well.
Shane Rickwood I do agree - it did seem as though the cammer indicated and then pulled over, so I don't think anyone was really at fault there. Good observations from the biker though.
It was Bad Drivers of Northamptonshire who commented something like "their access to wherever they were turning would have been blocked due to double yellow lines". I've only been driving for 3 years, so correct me if I'm wrong, but double yellow lines mean "do not park" ... not "do not turn" ... no idea why he said that to be honest.

approaching or at a road junction on either side of the road
The overtaking car should have waited until the cammer made his left turn.
However, it seems possible the overtaking car thought cammer was stopping on the double yellow, which would result in a tut and try to get round. But in that case they should have overtaken with more care.
So, yes, they were within their rights to overtake (if assuming cammer was doing an illegal park on the double yellow), but to say 'perfectly ok' is a bit of a stretch.
Re-tests should be made compulsory. Nobody actually knows how to use a roundabout anymore!
Seems everybody knows how to pass a test but none know how to drive. All these twats who are learning to drive should be made to learn in a car with no power steering, no gadgets, no nothing and learn to drive properly.
Si Anon I'm 23 and learnt to drive and passed my test in an old Micra with no power steering and no luxuries, was the best thing I ever did. Also think new drivers should not be driving such powerful cars with limited experience, causes so many accidents.
Probably the best thing you ever did. Too many people take their tests in cars with tech that does everything for them and then go out and buy a car that does nothing and they wonder why they can't drive them properly.

J Walker If you look at the post to the right behind his car at 1:23 it has no entry on one side and a giveway triangle on the other so he failed to see both. I agree the road markings are worn though. This has happened to me here before. The last time the car just carried on going

lol, some of these guys are ok but it's amazing how many seem to think that beeping their horn and swearing makes them right. The lack of hazard perception is amazing.
3:00 approaching the roundabout far too fast, appalling driving.

Will, it looks like he is nearly going twice the speed entering that roundabout, so what does he expect to happen (don't overtake or undertake on a roundabout at speed or take an exit at speed or not assuming every one els is going to take the exit)
Will, does not matter at this speed, he just lucky the other car was not also going around the roundabout as well
On that roundabout the Left lane goes left. Middle lane and right lane straight on to dual. No other exits. Citroen shouldn’t be going all the way around the roundabout from there.
Still speeding (at least the other car indicator was used way before he cam driver had got to the other car)
still don't know why pepole think this is the right way to take the second lane off a roundabout when there is a vehicle in the outer lane (you can't assume it's going to take the exit, especially when it's indicating right) you sure would not cut across lanes on the roundabout where I am as most use the outer lane to take the 3rd exit as you get stuck on the roundabout if you use inner lane (as half of roundabout is covered part time traffic lights witch blocks the inner lane when you get most of the way round it)
3:04 more like wtf you doing blasting across that round about when he was already on it and clearly indicating. Oh right you only had a second or two to register that because of your speed and thought you got slighted. Then raged out apparently at yourself because you didn’t show any consideration for the other road users. Then uploaded this clip thinking that would be a good idea. These dashcammers really shoot themselves in the foot don’t they? Ultimate irony is they don’t even realise they doing it even with their own video evidence.
Had to watch the clip at 8:30 twice because I was too busy being happy about The Lonely Island playing :D

Nothing it was the cammer not forward planning, leaving it to the last second and cutting across the left lane to exit.
At 5:10 at the 2 roundabouts, unless its roadmarked theres nothing wrong with using the right lane to go straight across. The person indicated both times to exit and wasnt speeding. Same as when lanes filter into one you just use common sense
starst at about 4:50? I thought the outside lane car was being a bit daft, but it was an overreaction by the cam car, that couldn't wait to do it all again a second time for his clip, even though technically he might have been in the wrong
Am a subscriber from Canada, and always enjoy your videos and the resulting comments. In answer to your competition question, the maximum resolution is 1440p at 30fps, but it will also shoot in 1080p at a faster 60fps. Thanks again for your great videos. TK

Looking at the wrong light or both sides were green? Used to be a lovely set of fourwat traffic lights on the old A5 through Wellington in Shropshire. Every-so-often they'd show green for all sides and there'd be a massive smash-up in the middle.

I think he is one of these people who imagine/create situations just so they can upload something. i suppose it's better than uploading a video in which you are in the wrong but thinking you are right! The cammer by not forward planning left it extremely late to get into the nearside lane to exit the roundabout and so (dangerously) cut across it to leave the roundabout

The problem I see with the video at 4:00mins is the cam-car driver pulls out way to early. A typical fault trait on British duel carriageways and motorways. Then he accelerates deliberately to stop the Pugtwat driver from pulling into his lane.

The best quality? Hmm well some would say that is the resolution of 1440p but that is only 30fps where the 1080p 60fps will give a better result for the far wider audience whom are only on 1080p screens still. Either answer is correct.

Odd, the car at 5:28 with registration either X11KAW or XIIKAW doesn't come up as a Nissian but a Mini according to the vehicle enquiry service for checking if a car is taxed or has an MOT...
Standard dashcammer procedure:
1. Badly anticipate the road ahead
2. When you finally notice another driver's error, speed up towards it
3. Slam on, stop, beep horn, shout profanity
4. Take a ridiculous length of time to pull away again
5. Upload video to TH-cam
It records at 1080p and 60fps as highest quality
I love that most of the people sending in the clips are the ones driving like idiots hahaha

Just a comment to Jacob at 4:58 if the lanes aren't directional then you can use either to continue straight, it's to minimise congestion so should only be done then but not illegal
But there was an exit to the left before the 'straight', I'm not sure that actually applies (then again neither are the police!) Another point is that Jacob was on the left before, while, and after passing the first exit. He should have stayed on the right, then move left just after passing the first exit.

2:20 - 2:30: The camera car shows us a car attempting to pass a coach while in a closing lane. We can only see this because the camera car also moves into the same closing lane. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
