@@KnoxHill shame so many people think its stopping too much, its just nice to have a total breakdown for once! Just remember to let the beat ride at the right moments ;) good job knox 👍
Ok, Johnny was the boyfriend of Nate’s mother. Johnny physically abused him, he explains more about it in his song Nate on The Search: “remember back when mom picked us up from grandma’s house, and she hid her boyfriend in the trunk and drove a couple miles down the street, then she pulled over to let him out. Cuz she didn’t want dad to know she had these types of dudes around. Cuz last time he found at he had to take us from her... you look uncomfortable. I’m sorry. Let me change the subject...” in Intro III when he says “I wrote a song for Johnny without you, but he ain’t gon’ like it, let’s see how he takes it. He prolly don’t even remember us, does he? I wish I was burying anger but both of us know imma need him for that song HE STILL LIVES IN THE BASEMENT.” (Almost done with the insight... just hang with me this’ll only take a moment, ok) in Mansion he says “you get the uncut version of life when I go downstairs”, setting up the rest of the verse to explain what’s in the basement of his mansion. Later in that verse, he tours one of the rooms: “physically abused, now that’s a room that I don’t wanna be in. That picture ain’t blurry at all, I just don’t wanna see it. And these walls ain’t blank, I just think I don’t wanna see em. But why not? I’m in here so I might as well read em!” ...he keeps the memory of physical abuse from Johnny in the basement of his Mansion. Hence, the reference, “he (Johnny) prolly don’t even remember us does he? I wish I was burying anger, but both of us know imma need him for that song. He still lives in the BASEMENT” ...sorry for the rant, I hope I made some sense and offered some insight into who Johnny is and how he references him (keep in mind this is my personal opinion. It is not something he explained, that I know of, it just makes a lot of sense to me)
This description and linking between the two songs fits perfectly, I got some of those references on my own but this clears a lot up. Thanks for putting this awesome explanation down
jillybean jazz It’s Fear I think , listen to mansion , he talks about fear intro 3 is about fear I guess , it’s NF in a room with his fear also Johnny is his stepfather who abused him .
You have to literally be a genius to write music this way. Who the heck can talk to himself and his emotions and connect his whole life together on a beat? Like wtf.... NF is a total mastermind (Returns)
I really like NF, this isn’t a diss on him. But Em has talked to himself and his emotions in previous albums and about his demons/vices/burdens and his personalities. That’s sort of why he said in kamikaze on the ringer “ so I can just be an effing recovery clone of me” Talking about NF and saying he did that kind of stuff first. Now don’t get me wrong, Nate and Em are in totally different lanes and NF is amazing. Love his work and his message. We def both agree that he is a mastermind. Returns is my favorite NF song as well. And how could you leave us is second, they song connects very personally for me and every time I hear it the song takes me to that place that he was at. Only a few very talented song writers and lyricists can do that so completely.
@@alextjb that is so true about what you said and I don't think NF And EM are different at all CAUSE they are delivering a similar created type of messages just with different types of styles... Plus I think it's sad that more writters are not as good as NF or EM
Putting it into words is what he specializes in, but this song is exactly what anxiety/depression/fear feels like for those of us who live with it. This is my favorite song of his by far.
JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU AND HE ALONE SAVES ROMANS 10:9-10 "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND!!! ❤️🙏🙌
This track is an actual masterpiece. He had a tweet about this from 2017 or so, he said this song was so real for him to record. He was genuinely in a fight with his fear. It shows. The emotion is obvious. It’s amazing.
Ngl you definitely should’ve listened to Mansion first- he makes more than one reference to it in Intro III Ex.- Is it me or the Fear talking? He asks that same question in Mansion. He also says in Mansion that he let Fear in, and now he’s staying in his “house” (read: mind) You may not have picked up on this, but he also made a reference to his song Wake Up He said something about how he told his fans to *Wake Up* but he hasn’t. He’s such a clever lyricist- I love it Sorry if I spoiled some stuff!! I just wanted to point it out c:
Johnny is nf's stepdad who used to beat him. He starts that line with "I think it's only right to go back to where you were created" In Mansion Nate talks about how he was physically abused, and how he (Johnny) used to put him in the corner so he could see the fear in his eyes. That's where fear was born for Nate
he wasn't his stepdad, he was his mom's boyfriend his dad didn't knew about him you can hear in the song "Nate": "Remember back when Mom picked us up from Grandma's house? And she hid her boyfriend in the trunk and drove a couple miles? Down the street, and then she pulled over to let him out 'Cause she ain't want Dad to know she had these type of dudes around 'Cause last time he found out, he had to take us from her You look uncomfortable, I'm sorry, let me change the subject" and he used to abuse Nate when he was a child
....the "holding the keys" line at the end leads into Outcast......so going in order makes it make more sense;, which is why all the fans tell reactors to follow the discography in order.....still flamezzz reaction. I've mentioned before, but mad props for your merch logo......certainly has worked for Em and NF #YTgoat
It amazes me how often I see reactors ignore this advice. You understand so much less of him when you don't start from the beginning. And usually they do end up regretting it too.
In case you guys didn't know... FEAR: What are you, scared of me? It's embarrassing If it wasn't for me, you would've never wrote Therapy I've been here for you, but how come you're never there for me? It's a little bit twisted, but I miss when you and I had scary dreams NF: I don't really wanna talk about it FEAR: Well, that's too bad now, Nate, shut up! Now where were we? Way back in the day when You and I had it all mapped out in the basement Cryin' in your room like a baby "I wish mom was here." What a dumb question! Yeah, it's real music 'til the day we die, right? Yeah, ain't that the slogan, Nathan? NF:Thought I told you to keep your mouth shut FEAR:I mean, so what? You know I never listen Let me guess We gon' dig a hole, kill the track, and prolly put a beat in it Rap about it for like three minutes Ayy, that's pretty deep, isn't it? Wait a minute, you don't really think for a second that you're puttin' me in this? NF:No, of course not, just a lil' deeper then we'll go inside and we can stop diggin' FEAR:Woo! You had me scared for a second, I thought we were diggin' my grave NF:We did, what, you don't like being' afraid? It's a dose of your own medicine What, you don't like how it tastes? My therapist told me don't bury my issues, but I'ma be honest, man, I'm feelin' great! I think it's only right we go back to where you were created I wrote a song for Johnny without you, but he ain't gon' like it, let's see how he takes it He probably don't even remember us, does he? That was a joke Yeah, it's hilarious, ain't it? You'll spend the rest of your life in my backyard or back of my mind, depends how you see it Put the shovel away, time to go back in the house now, you'll be out in a week Tellin' me you want your room back, that's funny; what, you ain't got nowhere to sleep? I'ma just look out the window and laugh at you, this is crazy to me 'Cause I thought you had me in prison this whole time, but I'm the one holding' the keys . (i didnt write this i just copypasted it)
Just a little edit I find is more correct, especially with the beat drop! I'm not correcting you in anyway!!! And I hope you would Also Agree!! FEAR: let's go outside! NF: Is this what you wanted? Both of us out in the open? Let's do it then I mean, why are you doing' this? I know that you're mad, but I'm not in the mood for this We got a record to drop So why you actin' like I'm not a part of it? FEAR: And where is my shovel at? NF: Prolly all back-where it always is FEAR: You can't get rid of all of me I'm the reason why- NF: Nah, shut up, I don't wanna hear another sentence FEAR: Hey, I'm NF, "Is it me or the fear talkin'?" Ha! What a dumb question! NF: Yeah, it's real music 'til the day we die, right? FEAR: Yeah, ain't that the slogan, Nathan? NF: Thought I told you to keep your mouth shut FEAR: I mean, so what? You had me scared for a second, I thought we were diggin' my grave
I think one of my fav sounds through the whole song was him hitting fearing the back of the head. I wish I was brave enough to do what NF is talking about.
"Is this what you wanted? Both of us out in the open? Let's do it then I mean, why are you doing' this? I know that you're mad, but I'm not in the mood for this We got a record to drop" was NF, not Fear. "Prolly all back" is actually "prolly OUT back," because he's saying where the shovel is
NF: “Nah shut up I don’t wanna hear another sentence. Hey I’m NF is it me or the fear talkin, what a dumb question” FEAR: “Yeah it’s real music till the day we die right? Yeah ain’t the slogan Nathan? NF: “Thought I told you to keep your mouth shut”
Fear is the first person to rap in this song, when NF sings lines like "I don't really wanna talk about, and, I wish mom was here" that's him responding to his fear. He is in fact singing with his Fear and as he said in the song, "I wish I was burying anger but both of us know imma need him for that song, he still lives in the basement" so it's definitely not anger. Also, his song "Mansion" tells the story of how he let in fear.
He makes alot of references to mansion with the house and fear, and the shovel was a reference from Intro II. If you listen to Outro, you'll find a reference to this song as Outro was released first
@@crucko4099 In Mansion NF says "You might get a glimpse of how I cope with all this anger in me , Physically abused, now that's the room that I don't want to be in, That picture ain't, blurry at all, I just don't want to see it, And these walls ain't blank, I just think I don't want to see 'em" Which he tells that he was physically abused, while not to my knowledge has Nate ever said who exactly he was talking about it safe to assume that it was Nate's Mom's boyfriend Johnny. Every time Nate brought up anger he brings up either Johnny or physical abuse. Also in Nate, he talks about how his biological Dad, did not want to be with his Mom because of the people that was around her, which were not good people so chances of one of them hitting Nate was not unlikely, "Remember back when mom picked us up from grandma's house? And she hid her boyfriend in the trunk and drove a couple miles, Down the street and she pulled over to let him out, 'Cause she didn't want ,dad to know she had these type of dudes around, 'Cause last time he found out, he had to take us from her"
Intro III has got to be NF's realest song, which says a lot on its own. It's up there with The Search, those two songs just cannot be compared to anything else. This is a true masterpiece, probably one of the hardest songs to pull off ever, the technique in this is just crazy to think about, he delivered everything he wanted to practically perfect. The lyrics themselves are ingenius and we just must take a moment to appreciate that, nearly every single line has a deep thought behind that makes total sense, it's like Eminem levels of lyricism but on emotions. Absolutely insane. That is why we love NF, for his uniqueness.
Honestly man what I love the most about you is that you pause the songs all the time and talk about every single thing the artists incorporate in their songs... you’re prolly the one person to do that the best on TH-cam - at least from all the reactors I enjoy to watch
Hey Knox, great reaction as always! What you were talking about regarding the narrator is called "omniscient narrator" and I agree that Nate's dialogueish songs are really interesting to listen to- such a cool concept! I'd recommend that you listen to the song Mansion next, it will explain a lot of the lines in Intro III :)
Nice! I was going to post but you got it first :) It’s strange how it’s used so frequently now but hardly anybody these days knows what it is and how it can be so powerfully used.
I been down with NF since 2013. When I saw the notification that you was doing Intro 3, I was like, "oh no, you haven't done Mansion or the other Intros yet!" Intro 3 is more complete when you have heard those songs but nonetheless it's still a Masterpiece and that's how the Perception album starts!
I seen this quote a couple of days ago and I think it really represents NF and his fan base, it said “when you’re happy you enjoy the music, but when you’re sad you understand the lyrics”. I think that really represents us as a fan base and Nates music
Love the reaction!! One of my favorite visuals in this song is I mean, what are you, outta your mind? 'Cause both of us will be Come on, let's go outside! Is this what you wanted? Both of us out in the open? People who have fears and mental problems tend to hide behind those, in all of NFs videos you see him holding his burdens, his face is painted, he’s in his prison or his mansion. All places for him to hide and here fear puts him where he’s most afraid, in the open where he has nothing to hide behind. It’s fears last attempt to get NF to fall back into place, also its at this point where NF starts talking back to fear. Part of the reason why I think fear is afraid they were digging his grave. He noticed he wasn’t intimidating Nate and Nate was kinda standing up to him. Pretty cool story telling
I love how you follow along so well. I know that it's your first time hearing the song because it's so genuine, but the way you dissect each line it's almost as if you've been studying each song for days. You catch stuff that I miss even though usually ive been listening to these songs for months
In an interview he explained he was legitimately scared after they played the track through. Enough he was physically shaking and everyone else in the studio was completely quiet. One of my favorites
i LOVE how well you break down his lyrics. I have been watching hundreds of reactions to NF and there is such an indepth meaning behind each layer. You are the first person to break it down exactly how I have seen it. "Ill just stand and watch you through the window and laugh at you, this whole time i thought you had me imprisoned but im the one holding the key" Tell me after you listened to mansion, you can't help but picture nate inside a mansion all beat up from fear and then there is another nate wearing his dark outfit all blacked out standing outside the mansion in the rain pulling out a set of keys on a necklace and walking away from the mansion. literally foreshadowing how he did everything to keep fear inside and now with this album fear has stepped out and is going to say his piece.
Just gonna drop this here, doubt it will be seen... FEAR: What are you, scared of me? I love going back and hearing NF speak for me. It's a plus when a reactor can enjoy the lyrics without personally experiencing them like most NF fans do. Props to you Knox! Thanks for not causing me to click off🙏 means more than you know.
“Remember This” references personified emotions as well, and would make another great reaction after “Mansion” as well. On another note, you should check out Ivan B, whether you do a reaction to him or not, he’s one of my favorite rappers and is often compared to great emotional like NF and Witt Lowry.
Here in 2023 because I just learned about NF from your Hope reaction. Squealing with joy and anticipation because I have so much background to cover. And look at ur baby face back then. ❤️
Knox, you deserve more credit honestly you change the way I view songs. it's more of understanding the lyrics now that enjoying the song thank you so much 😫
Johnny..."mansion"... Lyrics > You used to put me in the corner, so you could see the fear in my eyes Then took me downstairs and beat me 'til I screamed and I cried Congratulations, you'll always have a room in my mind But I'ma keep the door shut and lock the lyrics inside
All of nates songs are like a chapter of a story. They're all connected and meaningful. He says "this is therapy for me" He is addressing his traumatic childhood. In Mansion he's addressing his traumatic pain. How he compartmentalizes his trauma. You truly have to listen to every song as they are released to understand Nate himself. He's literally rapping to us about his emotional trauma. NF fans are devoted because he's shared himself with us. His songs are truly like a group therapy.
This is my favorite of the intros. Knox, you caught more than most reactors as usual. You have a gift for catching bars man. Btw Johnny was his mom's boyfriend. Keep up the great work!
One of my favourite points for this song is how deeply it references Mansion which was the birth of Fear essentially. And one of the Mansion quotes is, "I should put him back outside but I never can, cos in order to do that I'd have to open the door. Is that me or the Fear talking? I don't know anymore". And in this song he opens the door, takes Fear outside. Digs him a grave and buries him. AMAZING Like not only did he let go of Fear in the sense of burying him, he literally let go of his own fear, and opened the door to his safe room he vowed to NEVER open again.
I think you missed my favorite line: “Are you out of your mind? Cause both of us will be; let’s go outside.” Nate is out of his mind as in crazy, but fear is out of his mind as a mental state now having a persona outside of just an emotion in Nates head.
From what I understand Nate has a good relationship with his father, he was abused by his mother's boyfriend when he was young, I'm assuming his name was Johnny. This resulted in him going to live with his Father.
Wow, first time watching your reaction videos. First time I’ve watched an NF reaction and hear someone who ACTUALLY understands the lyrics and can dissect it. Absolutely subscribing! Keep it up!
Good lord thank you so much for doing this reaction video, I just now started the NF journey and your reactions and how you explain from your point of view is awesome!
When he says "is it me or the fear talking what a stupid question" is because at the end of mansion he said "is it me or the fear talking I don't know anymore" absolutely love the video Knox love watching your breakdowns ❤️
To answer the question you asked at 13:48 about point of view, I believe it is called "first person omniscient." It is where the narrator speaks in the first person (I, me) but is aware of not only the actions, but also the inner thoughts and feelings of other characters in the story. This literary point of view is rarely used but it fits quite nicely with this narrative in which Nate is conversing with other characters, namely his personified emotions, which he of course would be very well aware of their inner thoughts, feelings, motivations, etc., because they are a part of him. Thank you for breaking this song down. NF is deep but you added to that depth in my view by allowing us to gain more perspective.
I've watched a lot of reaction videos to NF. You are easily the best I've seen at deconstructing both the lyricism and the musical composition. Love it. Just subbed
The first time I heard Intro 3 was in 2018. Only now do I realize that the line "hey, it's pretty deep, isn't it" is a double entendre. The first meaning is that he's saying the concept of his rapping (digging a hole, putting a beat in it, rapping about it for three minutes) is deep, and the second meaning is that he's saying the hole itself - fear's grave - is deep.
God knox you just fucking get it, you understand such a unique state of mind and perspective. I wish i could meet you someday and talk about music with you
If you noticed in the beginning of intro lll he came in subtle with whispers talk with his fear he was a little calm but when he got to the part that he said ‘what are you out of your mind ,guess both of us will be let’s go outside ‘ the beat changed the dialogue became intense and aggressive the whole choirs in the background. All of this is show the commotions going on proving the point that he is now at the point where he is out of his mind .By the I love NF 100%🖤🖤
Wonderful reaction Knox. No one breaks bars like you! It is setting a high as hell standard for other breakdown channels. You've been a go to since I saw your first video. I asprie to be lyrical and known enough to be there one day.
My two favorite lines are. Fear: “you had me scared for a second, I thought we were digging my grave “. And Nate:”what you don’t like being afraid , it’s a dose of your own medicine what you don’t like how it tastes “ I love how he flips it and shows he’s taking back control
The first video I saw is you reacting to how could you leave us by NF and I’m like oh I have some of his songs on my playlist. Your music is really good
When he says "what's the point of having gun's, if you can't aim, what's the point of having blood with no veins, what's the point of having love with no pain." I felt every lyric to this right in the chest. Nathan really hits home with this intro and this one is my favorite, because how many of us have a fight with our fear, or anger, or other deep misunderstood emotions we all have. Sometimes we just have to do what NF did here and just bury it or confront it.
"I'm the one holding the key" Outcast follows this with him inside the cell holding the keys. The story just keeps on going. Mansion will be a good one now for you to go back and react to. Great job brother

Oh, an unus in the wild, you might as well run now
Ok, Johnny was the boyfriend of Nate’s mother. It is not something he explained, that I know of, it just makes a lot of sense to me)
i lack the iq level to dig this deep into a song so thanks
This description and linking between the two songs fits perfectly, I got some of those references on my own but this clears a lot up. Thanks for putting this awesome explanation down
OMG THANK YOUUU DUDE
John was also his original name but idk if that relates to this song
Thanks a lot for this explanation man !!
Knox: I Feel Like It's Gotta Be Anger Right?
Me: No, Anger Still Lives In The Basement
Lol 😆exactly what I said
I bet its pain hes singing at (NF)
jillybean jazz It’s Fear I think , listen to mansion , he talks about fear intro 3 is about fear I guess , it’s NF in a room with his fear also Johnny is his stepfather who abused him .
It is fear
He said in Outro " listen to intro 3 tryin to kill my fear!".
That’s sort of why he said in kamikaze on the ringer “ so I can just be an effing recovery clone of me”
Talking about NF and saying he did that kind of stuff first.
For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND!!! ❤️🙏🙌

Johnny was his mother's boyfriend who always beat him😞
I’ve been an NF fan for almost 3 yrs and I was still trying to figure out who he was talking about. Thank u.
I had no idea.
@@bryanthomas7420 Never mind 👌.
And in mansion he states that he took him downstairs to beat him, which is why anger lives in the basement.
Where’s the song about him tho
This track is an actual masterpiece. He had a tweet about this from 2017 or so, he said this song was so real for him to record. He was genuinely in a fight with his fear. It shows. The emotion is obvious. It’s amazing.
Beth M Intro III by NF, Cinderella Man by Eminem and Creatures by Jelly Roll might be the greatest rap songs ever made
Zigor Campos Cinderella man!! Such a dope song. One of my favorite Em songs. That and 25 to life by Eminem.
Ngl you definitely should’ve listened to Mansion first- he makes more than one reference to it in Intro III
Ex.- Is it me or the Fear talking?
He asks that same question in Mansion.
He also says in Mansion that he let Fear in, and now he’s staying in his “house” (read: mind)
You may not have picked up on this, but he also made a reference to his song Wake Up
He said something about how he told his fans to *Wake Up* but he hasn’t.
He’s such a clever lyricist- I love it
Sorry if I spoiled some stuff!! I just wanted to point it out c:
He shouts out his previous album in every intro.
Found ya
Isnt the wake up reference in itro 2?

@Lëê Yō Even these are better than the songs by some other artists😂
Johnny is nf's stepdad who used to beat him. He starts that line with "I think it's only right to go back to where you were created"
In Mansion Nate talks about how he was physically abused, and how he (Johnny) used to put him in the corner so he could see the fear in his eyes.
That's where fear was born for Nate
so sad..
he wasn't his stepdad, he was his mom's boyfriend his dad didn't knew about him you can hear in the song "Nate":
"Remember back when Mom picked us up from Grandma's house?
And she hid her boyfriend in the trunk and drove a couple miles?
Down the street, and then she pulled over to let him out
'Cause she ain't want Dad to know she had these type of dudes around
'Cause last time he found out, he had to take us from her
You look uncomfortable, I'm sorry, let me change the subject"
and he used to abuse Nate when he was a child
....the "holding the keys" line at the end leads into Outcast......so going in order makes it make more sense;, which is why all the fans tell reactors to follow the discography in order.....still flamezzz reaction. I've mentioned before, but mad props for your merch logo......certainly has worked for Em and NF #YTgoat
It amazes me how often I see reactors ignore this advice. You understand so much less of him when you don't start from the beginning. And usually they do end up regretting it too.

Hey I’m NF is it me or the fear talkin, what a dumb question”
FEAR: “Yeah it’s real music till the day we die right? Yeah ain’t the slogan Nathan?

Man I love how you break everything down it makes me understand Nate and his lyrics so much more! Thank you
Thank you for supporting! 🙏
So do I, mentioning English is my second lenguage.
You should totally do "Remember This" it's my favorite😋❤
He really should, it's an amazing song.
I love that song!
I love the song specially the part where he says “ people change, even satan used to be an angle”
Yea U really should
I’m voting on remember this too!

finally intro 3😍😍 please "Mansion" and "remember this" next!! 😊
He makes alot of references to mansion with the house and fear, and the shovel was a reference from Intro II. If you listen to Outro, you'll find a reference to this song as Outro was released first
Johnny was his mom's abusive boyfriend. ( R.I.P Nate's mom)

@@crucko4099 In Mansion NF says "You might get a glimpse of how I cope with all this anger in me
, Physically abused, now that's the room that I don't want to be in, That picture ain't, blurry at all, I just don't want to see it, And these walls ain't blank, I just think I don't want to see 'em"
Which he tells that he was physically abused, while not to my knowledge has Nate ever said who exactly he was talking about it safe to assume that it was Nate's Mom's boyfriend Johnny. Every time Nate brought up anger he brings up either Johnny or physical abuse. Also in Nate, he talks about how his biological Dad, did not want to be with his Mom because of the people that was around her, which were not good people so chances of one of them hitting Nate was not unlikely,
"Remember back when mom picked us up from grandma's house?
And she hid her boyfriend in the trunk and drove a couple miles, Down the street and she pulled over to let him out, 'Cause she didn't want ,dad to know she had these type of dudes around, 'Cause last time he found out, he had to take us from her"
I think you're the only person in the comments to mention. I was looking lol before I said it
You remind me of NF in your music, probably one of the reasons you're one of my favorite artists
Honestly man what I love the most about you is that you pause the songs all the time and talk about every single thing the artists incorporate in their songs... you’re prolly the one person to do that the best on TH-cam - at least from all the reactors I enjoy to watch
sad he never made a music video so much potential
Don’t think it’s needed whenever I listen to it I can pretty much picture it
Animated motion short film. Yes.
Listen to mansion and you will understand intro 3 more
"is my or the fear talking?" Thats a mansion's reference
"I'm the one holding the keys" that's powerful. That's Nate taking back his power.
What I love that it shows that NF’s biggest diss toward himself is his own mind
For clarification I’m saying that I haven’t heard a good diss for NF that is also Straight facts
I’m impressed you knew it was a dialogue with him and fear on a first listen. I didn’t get that until at least a few listens
Nice! I was going to post but you got it first :)
It’s strange how it’s used so frequently now but hardly anybody these days knows what it is and how it can be so powerfully used.
I been down with NF since 2013. When I saw the notification that you was doing Intro 3, I was like, "oh no, you haven't done Mansion or the other Intros yet!"
Intro 3 is more complete when you have heard those songs but nonetheless it's still a Masterpiece and that's how the Perception album starts!
nf seriously deserves so much more hype than he has, he’s such a genius lyricist.
I seen this quote a couple of days ago and I think it really represents NF and his fan base, it said “when you’re happy you enjoy the music, but when you’re sad you understand the lyrics”. I think that really represents us as a fan base and Nates music
Here for the NF
He talking about fear. Listening to
Mansion

Intro 2
Intro 3

Back to back is a trip
You gotta react to Mansion! Nate is incredible I can't even comprehend how can someone be this talented
I love how you analyze the emotions, the beats/production and the lyrics all at once! NF is quality on every level.
Love the reaction!! One of my favorite visuals in this song is
I mean, what are you, outta your mind?
'Cause both of us will be
Come on, let's go outside!
"Ill just stand and watch you through the window and laugh at you, this whole time i thought you had me imprisoned but im the one holding the key"
Tell me after you listened to mansion, you can't help but picture nate inside a mansion all beat up from fear and then there is another nate wearing his dark outfit all blacked out standing outside the mansion in the rain pulling out a set of keys on a necklace and walking away from the mansion. literally foreshadowing how he did everything to keep fear inside and now with this album fear has stepped out and is going to say his piece.
Just gonna drop this here, doubt it will be seen...

The literary device you were trying to talk about is third person omniscient
The fear 'lives in his house' and it's 'got its own room' and 'mansion' it connects itself to mansion
Yep been waiting for this
I just realized that when he was digging the hole he is referring to his song “10 feet down”
Lets go Nate, He should do Intro ll next.
nahh mansion first :)
One of my favorites!!! I've been waiting for you to do this one! It's hard to pick favorites when all NF's songs are just so amazing in their own way.
This is how the reaction should be.... Well done man❤️ my fav reaction
REAL!!! we've been asking for like 5 months my guy
This is easily the best song he has ever written. It's perfection. This is his masterpiece
Remember This ties in perfectly with the personification of emotions theme
Pls react to "Paralyzed", one of my favorite songs by him
Here in 2023 because I just learned about NF from your Hope reaction. Squealing with joy and anticipation because I have so much background to cover. And look at ur baby face back then. ❤️
Back With the Grind
Knox, you deserve more credit
honestly you change the way I view songs. it's more of understanding the lyrics now that enjoying the song
thank you so much 😫
Johnny..."mansion"... Lyrics > You used to put me in the corner, so you could see the fear in my eyes
Then took me downstairs and beat me 'til I screamed and I cried
Congratulations, you'll always have a room in my mind
But I'ma keep the door shut and lock the lyrics inside
All of nates songs are like a chapter of a story. They're all connected and meaningful. He says "this is therapy for me" He is addressing his traumatic childhood. In Mansion he's addressing his traumatic pain. How he compartmentalizes his trauma. You truly have to listen to every song as they are released to understand Nate himself. He's literally rapping to us about his emotional trauma. NF fans are devoted because he's shared himself with us. His songs are truly like a group therapy.
Johnny is His mothers abusive boyfriend. I think. Again listen to mansion but great job for still knowing every thing.
This is my favorite of the intros. Knox, you caught more than most reactors as usual. You have a gift for catching bars man. Btw Johnny was his mom's boyfriend. Keep up the great work!
You should do react to “Like This” it’s my favorite song at the moment
Cause both of us will be; let’s go outside.”
Nate is out of his mind as in crazy, but fear is out of his mind as a mental state now having a persona outside of just an emotion in Nates head.
NF IS GOD
No he’s not
@@elizabethblack2674 might as well be
@@travisw4979 naturally I'd agree but, eminem is rap god.
Best review of this song ever! Great job Knox Hill! #nfrealmusic #intro3 #nf #NTROIII #nfjourney #realmusic #reaction
Knox you should listen to All I have on the Mansion album
his best song ever
ive never heard 2 songs from 2 completely different albums be connected so much. i got chills from this.
John is nates middle name which could hint at the fact that Johhny is his dads name
From what I understand Nate has a good relationship with his father, he was abused by his mother's boyfriend when he was young, I'm assuming his name was Johnny. This resulted in him going to live with his Father.
I love your reactions. They're amazing. You really go into details. I haven't watched any reactions that's as good as yours. Keep it up.

Your the only TH-cam that can properly dissect NF
When he says "is it me or the fear talking what a stupid question" is because at the end of mansion he said "is it me or the fear talking I don't know anymore" absolutely love the video Knox love watching your breakdowns ❤️
All his Intros are so good! Glad your checking them out!
Nobody does it like Knox! Absolutely nobody. Guy is in a league of his own. Amazing breakdown as usual.
This one is ( yet) a masterpiece beyond compare. NF is beyond this world. And you are very talented Mister Knox!
Nate's music always makes me really emotional
Woo!!!!! Masterpiece definitely. I honestly can’t think of another track from anyone that even comes close to the captivation and imagery.
This song is best left to our own visualization, and not have a video for it! Great job Nate and Knox Hill!
This song always gives me chills. I related to this so hard I will always be one of the NF following.
The English term is called:
Dramatic Irony
(It's also used when the audience knows something the character doesn't)
"I'm the one holding the key" Outcast follows this with him inside the cell holding the keys. The story just keeps on going.
Mansion will be a good one now for you to go back and react to.
Great job brother
Best reaction ever... his the only TH-camr that can understand his music
And the real ernest and layedbak
The line that said ''Is it me or the fear talking'' is a line from his song Mansion.I also request listening to Mansion
I love watching people react to nf because I love seeing people appreciate him as much as I do
