    This monitor is more than just a gaming monitor. It can also be used for content creation, which iswhat I would mostly use it for. A typical "Professional" photo/video editing monitor from brands like BenQ or Ezio go for, at MINIMUM, $1500-$2500USD. I do photo editing and I would never edit my work on a cheap $250-$300 monitor.
    Also, as far as the price, it was over $1000USD when it was first released. Glad to see the price is coming down.

    • @acurisur
      @acurisur 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because the Coolermaster has a higher refresh rate of 160hz and will absolutely demolish the QLED in HDR content thanks to it's over 500 dimming zones and HDR 1000 brightness.

    • @WrongButtonWB
      @WrongButtonWB 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@acurisur
      Listen son, better learn your shit first, before speaking in public. Firstly, 4k@ 160fps, would love to see which gpu could handle that. Secondly, modern led tvs have around 1000 local dimming zones and OLED tv's got millions. As far as the nits go, modern tv easily reach 2000 in hdr or 1000 in sdr. So, before acting smart again, better doublecheck your sources.

    • @acurisur
      @acurisur 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@WrongButtonWB You said QLED, not OLED. Did you just move the goalposts?
      QLED and OLED are two different technologies. A gpu that can handle 4k at 160fps? Well that would depend on the game wouldn't it? Would a 4090 be able to handle a 10 year old game at 4k 160fps? Absolutely.
      Also, there's no such thing as 2000 HDR, that's a marketing term, but I need to "doublecheck my sources" right?
      As for "better learn your shit first" and "before acting smart again" , you're America, I take it? That would explain the complete absence of any manners.

    • @WrongButtonWB
      @WrongButtonWB 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@acurisur OLED or QLED, take your pick, for the price of the monitor mentioned in this vid, you can choose amongst few models.. "There s no such thing as 2000 HDR" is not what I said, I was telling you about the fact that modern tv's can handle 2000 nits at some hdr content, as a peak brightness, while providing 1000 nits at sdr content. Again, being clueless about the stuff you're writing is not my problem nor does it reflects where am I from. Good luck running old ass games @4k 160fps, specially if they were frame locked under 100 (which I bet many were, if we are really talking about "old games"). I'm sure you can cherry pick a single game which can run to "prove your point" that this crap of a display worth almost 1k $, and that's great. If you are happy with it, good on you.

    • @acurisur
      @acurisur 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@WrongButtonWB But you won't get a display like that for the same price as this monitor so your entire argument falls apart.
      You might be able to get a "55 inch qled 4k 120 hz" as you originally said, but it won't be a mini LED at this price point, I should know because I've looked.
      QLED is crap compared to Mini LED and OLED.
      Also no serious PC gamer is going to pick a Tv over a monitor due to the lack of Displayport connections, so you're capped at 120hz which is absolutely shit.
      A ultrawide OLED monitor, like you can get from Alienware, is going to be better than of the QLED tvs you keep banging on about.
