Searched for this after watching so many episodes of bar rescue. This is cool!
As a bar manager for 30 years this is the single greatest product I have ever used. I used to despise taking inventory, but bar-tracker has made it so easy I actually enjoy doing it now!

This woukd have made life so much easier. Just one question, is there an easier way to inventory Beer, and Draught?
can this system scan the bottle and record the liquor level..prefer that over manual input level...saw on a system...before.
Does it matter if the bottle is upside down in one of those carrousels that hold 4 bottles for instance and spin around?

This is amazing if it works like it shows. I HATE doing my bar inventory. Seriously takes 5+ hours. Downloading the free trial now. I didn't see any mention of wine or keg inventory?

Anjali with the Customer Success Team here - thanks for the feedback! You can actually inventory anything you can take a picture of - even kegs, wine, store 'n pours.
After you add the picture/item, you inventory it in the same way you would a bottle already in our database and our proprietary algorithms still make it highly accurate!

How many ounces
Is there anyway to add more than one partial bottle per inventory? Its really an issue :(

I assumed it was just software you buy and then you're done. Why is there a monthly charge and how did they setting on the expensive $400/month for the service?
Richard Rico I was just at their app. It now says $249 I think.
Any way this might work with an Android phone? I'm interested in doing this, however prefer not to have to purchase an iPhone/ipad just to use it. Not to mention what it would cost to use the service.

Anjali from the Customer Success Team here. We have an Android version in the pipeline, but in the interim, our clients just buy refurbished/used iPod Touches and many time find them on Craigslist for under $60. The best part? You can use the iPod Touch for all different apps - not just Partender!

Hi khristian deleveaux - it's coming out soon. In the meantime, we have a lot of our Android users who want to get started ASAP, so they buy the iPad Mini because it's so inexpensive now!

Neat app but misleading.... does not take 15 min! It also isn't as simple as they make it out to be. How about bottles like Hendrick's Gin, Kahlua, Frangelico, Bailey's, and dozens of wines?? You can't see through the bottle! I need accuracy with my entire inventory, not just a portion of it. There are better options out there.

As far as opaque bottles, our clients hold the flashlight on the back of their phone/tablet to the bottle and usually can see the level through most. How do you currently inventory opaque bottles?

Bobby Resigliano Hey Bobby, we literally allow you to take a picture and inventory ANY bottle or item (incl. food and smallwares). For slightly opaque bottles, turn on the flash of your iPhone or Android device and put it against the bottle to see where the liquor level is.
If it's fully opaque, what would you do if you were using paper/pen? Dip a straw in there and see how full the bottle is or turn it and find the fulcrum of the bottle to see how full it is.
Partender is fully functional for any and all types of inventory. We're incredibly flexible.

We have bars, restaurants of all sizes & types on our system. And venues on our system report seeing a 6% increase to their bottom line in 3 months - they make more than that $13/day back in multiple different ways :)

+Carlos, what would be a reasonable price? I am curious. If the inventory done weekly and it takes 6-8 hours, it is easy to calculate the cost 6 X $14 (minimum wage in SF) = $84 X 4 weeks = $336. Using Partender you can actually save time and money. Plus, it is so much more fun to use the app!
Not sure how math is done in SF, but 336 is less than 399, and someone still has to do inventory. Basically, you need to allocate $4000 worth of sales in a month just to break even with this subscription.
Based on how much money people lose by not taking inventory, this sounds better.
Far to expensive to pay a monthly fee. I save more money to pay staff to do the job than to use the app and pay a monthly fee. Intuitive app but would rather pay a one-off fee for a lifetime use or pay no more than $150 annually.
+Jason Collins Acubar is cheaper and easier to use with same basic principle ... you still need to upload the bottle you inventory, if you have the app do it, you will have to " search " for the bottle if moved or misplaced

It is only $250 a month. A bar would save more than that much in overpours, manpower and time to do manual inventory and ordering. Unless you have a really tiny establishment with no a lot of choices.
