Have you guys tried asking for the store to cut open the coconut? I don't know if you guys have tried it already, but some establishments, specially "quiosques" like the one you saw the guy cutting the coconut into a cube, sometimes will cut the coconut open in half if you ask them after you have finished drinking all the water so that you can eat the coconut flesh inside. It is really tasty to eat a freshly cut open coconut flesh.

Congratulations! Excellent videos, as always, added to his charisma and friendliness. You two are spontaneous and "at ease with life", so you get the best of each place you go. I don't know what your itinerary is, but I think you should go to Rio Grande do Norte (still in northeastern Brazil). There is a spectacular infrastructure to receive tourists. Tours for all tastes: beaches, dunes, cities, fishing villages, ...... you can even ride a camel, if you want. The buggies know the best tours, including: Natal (Ponta Negra Beach), Maracajaú, Pipa Beach, Genipabú, and the largest cashew tree in the world.
On an island (Fernando de Noronha) right in front of Boa Viagem beach you can dive and swim alongside sharks that do not attack. It is strange but it happens in Pernambuco.
Tapioca has indigenous origin, in the Tupi Guarani language it is "Biju". And Tapioca is the dish of the State of Pernambuco. It comes from tapioca with "coalho" cheese and butter, it is the most traditional!

It was a shame that the video was so short, but I understand that editing them takes time and you still have a lot to see. If you go to the state of Rio Grande do Norte, be sure to visit the largest cashew tree in the world. It is located on Pirangi do Norte beach in the municipality of Parnamirim, twelve kilometers south of Natal, the state capital. It produces 70 to 80 thousand cashews per harvest, equivalent to 2.5 tons. And its size is equivalent to 70 cashew trees, the tree covers an area of approximately 8,500 m², with a perimeter of approximately 500 m.

Acarajé for breakie is asking for a heart failure at a young age lol - Acarajé in Brazil is like a proper meal 🥘 - we usually like to go light in the morning a good combination for me would be coconut water, a small piece of fruit mango 🥭 or avocado 🥑 preferably or whatever fruit available and also either a scrambled egg sandwich 🍳 or a toasted ham and cheese sandwich

By the way if you're into shrimps you guys should try a very very typical Brazilian dish called "Bobó de Camarão" - you gotta go a good restaurant to have this dish though - you can have it anywhere but the quality is not the same - sometimes it's worth spending a bit more to have the proper deal - look it up "Bobó de Camarão" - search for a good restaurant where they serve this dish - you can't leave this country without trying a proper Bobó de Camarão which is one of Brazil's most traditional dish typical from that part of the country where you guys are now / actually I think Bobó de Camarão is originally from Bahia but Om pretty sure you can get good ones in Recife as well - search for a good restaurant though - very cheap places and stands oh the streets don't make it as good 😌
