Question, do you know if there is a distance rule? Like how far is considered different regions?

    •  หลายเดือนก่อน

I'm not sure I understand. The regions are separated by FIBA and classified by them!

If i want to play overseas can i write to team for try outs? Im 19 dont have any highliths becouse i was injured for last 2 years. And what do you think about leugue in United Arab Emirates becouse i want to try out playing in dubai

Yes, of course you can always write to teams for potential tryouts. But how successful you will be in doing that depends on a lot of factors such as playing experience, highlights, basketball resume, communication skills, team needs/budget, location and much more.
Considering you have a two-year gap, you need to start playing again. I would first look at where you can get started playing again. In your case, 19-years old, that would probably be in college/university but it could also be in a club academy.
After doing that, you will have a more presentable resume to teams.

So if you want to play overseas, you don't need an agent? Do you know if there are any countries where players are required to have an agent?

    •  ปีที่แล้ว +2

By the rule book, you don't need an agent to play overseas basketball. Hundreds of players play without an agent.
With that being said, as you get to the higher levels then an agent becomes more and more useful as negotiations become more time-consuming, expensive and complicated.
I don't believe there are any countries that require you to have an agent. But I know some countries require agents to register with their federation (alongside their FIBA registration).
      Hope that helps.

How Can i get an agent

    •  ปีที่แล้ว +1

It will really depend on your skill-set, messaging/marketing and experience level if you'll be able to get an agent.
In general I would recommend getting an agent that works with your nationality and experience level. That would give you the best chance of getting someone who can actually help and listen to you.
Obviously - like everything in life - the best way to attract one is through recommendation/networking. Think who in your basketball networks already has an agent who would suitable for you as well.
What is your nationality and experience level in basketball?

Are you a FIBA agent? If so is the test hard to pass??

    •  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

Not a FIBA agent. I’m just trying to show players the ropes. Kevin Tarca is a great guy to follow on IG/his podcasts for that stuff.
