I actually appreciate your platform a great deal: I’m about to release an album and as an indie artist, I’m so used to doing everything under my own name, even though I’ve had an LLC for a few years now - I just didn’t know what to do with it. Now that I’m putting out new music, I would like to use my LLC as it makes more sense to me now. Thank you so much for all you do! 🥰🙌🏽
@@MusicMoneyMakeover: If you don’t mind, I would like to share my first single - it’s called “Visions of Gold”. It’s written, produced and performed by me 🥰 Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/KzJcHUsX3Io/w-d-xo.html Thank you for letting me share my music with you!! 🥰🙏🏽🎼
Great video. I just had my debut EP mixed. One last mixing session and then on to mastering stage. I'm not releasing songs or visuals until I complete every objective in my business plan
Should this LLC be set up as a record company, publishing company, or the artist stage name? Also, should the "company" or the artist own the artist stage name?
@@MusicMoneyMakeover Just in case this hasn’t been verbalized often enough, you are providing a huge service to a great many who are not exposed to.........or perhaps not know how to proceed in accessing the information you are providing on your platform. Bless 🤜🏾💥🤛🏿
@@MusicMoneyMakeover First off I would like to say thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with the world its very informative and straight to the point as well as simple. my question is this. When forming an LLC would it matter the state I'm living if I choose to go the digital route for my record company? or should I just focus on setting my LLC where I'm currently living based off what your saying?
I don't see how this makes sense. If you're prolific, i means thousands of God tier compositions and recordings, are you supposed to copyright each and every one?
Then is legal issues arise that you are personally responsible for, those copyright owned by you are now at risk by that personal lawsuit. It could be as small as a fender bender accident that causes this.
Boss man you do great work , Imma OG from the MC Hammer era mixed in with Tupac, E 40 . My folks either worked with all of them or song on there project, I got receipts. ✌️👍💰⛽️😂🤣. I always played the back . OG now bout to kick things off. I’m coming off the Bench. I’m gonna ask for your Help soon. Peace and hair grease. TH-cam/DJ undadirt. and. TH-cam/Bring Back Tupac

It can be the artist name
Yes the company should own the artist name as a trademark. The LLC should house all operations when you're starting
@@MusicMoneyMakeover thanks 🙏🏻

What if you got the copyright in your name before obtaining LLC? Nō bueñō?? 🤣 serious question though 💯
