I just wish they would separate the legs from the waist armor. It's so frustrating trying to bash suits where the entire bottom half of the suit is the same suit.
I can see where your coming from with that leg customization woulda been cool too main thing I’m thinking about is if we will be able to scale optional weapons that come attached to arms and stuff now
Also, I think the biggest problem with that, is how well the legs scale with the other Australian segments. And vice versa. Good example of that might be, how well would the zaku’s waist work, with like legs off of The O? Especially with the extended skirt area the zaku has.
Option parts disabling all at once is not good, but having a 4th game to play with the 3rd is a net positive. A nerfed Gundam Breaker will probably still be better than most games.
I have gameplay up on my channel if you want to see what it looks like, the optionals actually not that bad once you get used to it, at least not as bad as I thought it was
@@Yusei255 I'm indifferent on the change but I do know for a fact we will never have PvP in Gundam Breaker with an optional system that is similar to Gundam Breaker 3's. Gundam Breaker 4 felt like a game that is soon to be ready for PvP if Bandai ever goes that route. (Very doubtful considering how successful the Vs series is in Japan)
@@Yusei255 originally, every option part had its own unique cooldown, unique enough that melee option parts had no cooldown and just acted as regular weapons. With this new implementation, you can't have regular weapons as option parts, nor can you layer more than option parts 1 action over the other anymore. To make up for it, they have dual wielding, but that's still not as cool as quad wielding, lol.
On the website it says there is over 250 suits on the base game. I never played gundam breaker mobile but i've seen clips of the gameplay. If they have some suits from that roster on gundam breaker 4 this about to be the best game since slice bread 🤣🤣🤣👍🙏❤
So what it seems and this is speculation but it the same team who worked on New Gundam Breaker is the ones working on Gundam Breaker 4 and New GB had exactly 250 kits to work with, so I'm kinda hoping not but the base game in GB4 may be the same as New GB untill they add dlc. Again this is just me speculating! :)
@@RedNMuffin I see where you’re coming from, a lot of the optional weapons they showed off look just like how they did in GB3 with a UE5 touch up so I was thinking we might have most of if not everything from GB3. Hopefully the game does drop 1st half of 2024 and we can find out soon I’m hype
Honestly not a fan of shared cooldowns and all ex sharing one meter. Shared EX meter will be cool for players who want to show off but otherwise for most will likely devolve into just spamming what is considered the best EX action over and over again because there is no reason to use the meter on other skills when you can just use the best one again. Or even worse for some players leading to having to waste all their meter in healing constantly and never being able to get to their offensive EX skills For the optionals part of the fun of them was making your suit into a walking arsenal that can combo a lot of its optional weaponry into its normal combat flow. Using one putting them all into cooldown just seems to ruin the fun of them imo. Being locked out of using the kshatrya binders because I had used nobel's beam hoola hoop a second ago doesnt sound fun to me. Something that kind of bothers me tho from seeing this vid and a small bit of others is that stages seem to feel less like...stages to me so far. Like the previous games had most of its stages feeling like beat em up stages where you work through it till the end to fight the end bosses, with minibosses and the like on the way or had other objectives like base defense or killing enemy objectives. But the footage Ive seen for this so far seems to look more like a bloody palace like thing where you are plopped in one arena, fight the enemies presented, then get graded and plopped into the next which gives a different overall feeling to me. This may be just a thing of me not having seen enough or just being a small bit of the game with more variety and differing stages in the full release so it's not something Im as concerned about compared to the EX and optional system
Game mode variety is something the breaker series always struggled with. EX skills you won’t be able to spam the best one because so far you’re only able to use whatever ex skills your parts have natively. For example in Gundam Breaker 3 you can master ex skills and use them at will even if you don’t have the part or weapon. In Gundam Breaker 4 you need specific parts to use ex skills so you won’t be spamming the best ex skill. The optional system is frustrating when first playing but after getting used to the combat optional cooldown isn’t too bad imo. The gameplay in the background for this vid was Breaker 3 gameplay but I do have Breaker 4 gameplay up
Hopefully bits/funnels won't root you in place like New Breaker did... that irritated the hell out of me when I tried to remake my GB3 build... that thing tore suits to shreds with a twinblade and like 5 different sets of funnels.

They specifically said the global CD on the options parts is to avoid some parts from being too overpowered.

Some do have animation when’s they come out but it depends on the Suit I have a funnel video on the channel somewhere should be the transformation one
