    To answer the questions about range: 260nm at 20 knots with a 20% reserve; 225nm at 28 knots with 20% reserve.

    • @arekpetrosian4965
      @arekpetrosian4965 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @MrAbletospeak Well, at 9 knots, it consumes about 5.4 liters per mile, with a fuel capacity of 3.600 liters, so the range at lower speeds is about 667 miles. Not great for a trawler, I guess, but better than the 260 miles you'd get at 20 knots.

    • @constantineding8700
      @constantineding8700 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @MrAbletospeak Not that bad for 20 knots. Throttle it back within 10 knots the range will more than double.

    • @PhilbyFavourites
      @PhilbyFavourites 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @MrAbletospeak have you got one....
      My ST34 has about 250 miles at fast cruise. That’ll do for me! When you can buy one feel free to be supercilious.....

      @@Vivendi77 Why and/or how is that a "complete failure"? That's really not bad range for a yacht of this type and size. It's not advertised as, or claiming to be, a long-range trawler. If you want that, look into Nordhavn or Kady-Krogen. This is for comfort, luxury and a bit longer range than most sport cruisers. Not trying to advertise for the brand, but being objective about it, I don't see a problem with its range.

    Excellent review! I’ve seen 2 other reviews and neither one even mentioned a crew cabin, let alone showed some footage of it! Sure, not the “star of the show” on an amazing boat like this, but really shows the value of your thorough review; would come in handy in a pinch for an extra guest and/or some kids if you’re operating this boat on your own. Great review! 👍🏻

    Very nice, about what would be expected from a high end yacht builder. I'm _SO_ glad they didn't go insane with exotic woods and such on the interior. While the view through the cockpit bulwarks is great, I'm thinking about children (both 2 and 4 legged). I'd like to see an option to "fill" those openings with Lexan or a similar product.

      See page 68 on the review for the range tables. With a frugal hand on the throttle the vessel will take you ~2,000 Nautical Miles on 3,600L fill. I'd hope the stabilisers were up to the task at those low speeds.

    Thanks ! Great Review and a spectacular boat ( which I guess we should expect for the price tag)..... My only real negative was the open bulwarks that you pointed out. . This looks a little like compromising safety for art. Hopefully this is one option that could be removed . Could easily see many things going overboard...including kids and I am surprised this meets health and safety standards. Otherwise, great use of space, the accommodation spaces in particular.

Almost 2,000 Nautical miles at 5.5 Knots Per Hour for a 3,600 L full tank. Normally those figures have a reserve contingency of about 10% too but I cannot be sure in this case. At those low speeds stabilisation would likely be an issue - think bobbing around the ocean like a cork - so I assume it has low speed stabilisation as well.

    When you have 2.7 million to spend, you don't ever have to be in a hurry. Which means you could own a solar electric / hydrogen boat that does not emit tons of carbon with every trip, destroying our beautiful planet. I'll be interested once you make a 100% renewable energy vessel.
