You can have dual esims on iPhone. For international version, you can use either dual esim or esim+physical sim. You can have more than 2 esims but only 2 numbers can be active at a time.

You technically replaced the SIM/eSIM module to be a SIM/SIM module. Hence this is why our iPhones know you got two SIMs installed. The iPhone doesn’t care if the second SIM is digital still or now physical, all it cares for is that there’s something to read off, if present. This works with any iPhone supporting SIM and eSIM in one.

All iPhones since iPhone X are dual SIM. One is eSIM outside of China (and Hong Kong). And both are eSIMs in the US since iPhone 14. I prefer eSIM because a thief cannot take it out of the phone. Hence, you can keep on tracking it.
How does dual sim work e or not. Is there two radios? Can you get a call on both devices at once (ignoring VOIP) ? You have to select which data you’re using im guessing? You cant bond them?
we have this in australia and my mum has dual sim instead of carry one personal/one work phone now. the only catch is in australia you have to have 1 esim and 1 physical sim. they told my mum it's to prevent people going with 2 different providers in the one phone 🗿🗿 idk if that's how it is in america but yeah

Sadly the US Model iPhone 14 Pro MAX’S don’t support any physical SIM card at all unless someone is crazy enough to make a mod for it. Who knows if the logic board has the flex cable connector for the SIM card where it used to be on the iPhone 13 Pro MAX

its not only in china. the versions that are being imported there are the CH models that are only in middle east and asia. *edit:* there are also ZA/A models that gets imported and the CH models have limited facetime talking which means you won't get to use facetime after 2 months if you have a CH model.
My iphone is running on 2 sims all you need to do is make one card an e sim and itll run without putting a card in. For the second sim put the card in the sim holder and then it would read 2 sims.

I’m pretty sure all iPhone Xs and above support multiple sims. I have a 13 Pro Max and have a personal number, work number, and a third number I use for selling things and buying things off marketplaces.
Esims my friend… It’s kinda a thing for years. You can have dual sims active and more “on hold”
So yeah, no need to china-mod your phone
why not just use a physical sim and an e sim..?
You can use a physical sim and esim at the same time
Been using Dual-sim since forever on android, useful feature.
You could one e sim and then also physical sim, I have an iPhone with two lines
One for the load second for the plug
