- this is a First impression video of the smart car, were basically just saying what we have experienced first hand, and are no way professionals. lol
excuse the Mistakes xD this was not scripted and was made on the spot... so he was abit nervous at the time.
You know I've looked at these and they just make sense to own.they are reasonably priced,they cost pennies to drive,and if you live by yourself why do you need anything bigger?people who make jokes about smart car owners are the dumb ones,let them blow half their paycheck a month on fuel.
"Cool compartment right here where you can keep jumper cables or a bow and arrow". Too funny.

In Europe you need this for parking meter :) But I guess paying for parking is not verry common in the us...

My car is 2010 white with swooshes on the side. I love her! Someone said it doesn't look safe but it has a steel cage around the passenger compartment called the Tridion. Engineered by Mercedes built by Daimler. Good solid car. And fun to drive! :)

Actually that USB port is meant for a USB drive that will hold MP3 files that you can play through the radio. I found you can give any smart phone or an i phone a little charge. Also the pedals are not BMW but they are mercedes benz inspired, however Smart is it's own company owned by MB.
I have a 2013 Pure myself and although it is the most basic car you can get, it had a lot of nice features for a basic car, however i need to point out that AC is an option on the car.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Good luck with it. I would like to know more about how it drives and about the mechanicals. What does the engine look like? Is it easy to change the oil, replace brakes, change the tire and other maintenance stuff like that. Keep up the great work. You two make a great team!
Oh and one more thing, you can also get power steering as an option on the Pure, i have it on mine. Your review had some inaccuracies, but i can also tell that you had just bought the car, and your learning about it. The extra cup holder and the luggage cover are also options on the car. I do like what you have though.

I believe Mitsubshi builds this 3 cylinder engine....car is actually made in France....

I was going to get a spark, but I ended up getting an iQ. The smart may be cheaper, but by the time you get standard features like A/C, power steering, locks, and windows, etc. it ends up costing more than an iQ.
lol no power mirrors but at least you can reach both mirrors easily to adjust it XD

This is a car for an Asian city, a European city or New York City. It is not for Indianapolis or any typical US city where size does not matter that much.
Oh okay I didn't know that... I always thought that you can park for free at a mall... Or do you mean other places in the city centre? In Europe paying for parking is expensive too. But using plastic for parking is at least in Germany not verry common, most people pay in cash.

It's 6 airbags the other two are in the sides of the seats. and like someone else said Mercedes-Benz makes the Smart.

Its a good car! It did well in the winter, drove well but it was a bit rough when youre stuck at the top of a hill with a red light...not much weight so it slides xD

great video. Very disappointed you decided to not showing the motor compartment. Not sure why when people talk about a car or sell a car, they never show video/photos of the motor and or the motor compartment, odd.
We personally are not educated in the motor of the vehicle. I believe there's other videos that would talk about this.We didn't want to sound smart about something we weren't very educated in. Sorry!

It was actually amazing! The only hard thing about this car is stopping on top of a hill when it's snowing. So if you live in a state that has a lot of snow I wouldn't drive it when its icy.

What do you mean paying for parking is not very common in the US? We have to pay like everywhere. And it's expensive as shit. Or if you use a meter, Which they don't use much of any more. Then you don't get much time for your quarters. But mostly everything is all pay stations now. So it's easier to use plastic

It's good! Just too light when you're at a stop, it slides all over :/ but aside from that traction is great.
