Just look at this piece of Belarusian folklore, the outfits they wear, the rhythms and music they play, and the way they dance and articulate themselves. Save for the language itself which is very close to Polish, too, there aren't many perceivable differences between their performance and Polish kujawiak, krakowiak, oberek, or mazurka dances. Yesterday, we found this Belarus folk dance group performing in Drammen. Their bus had broken down, so this was a one-time-experience for us. There are two performances in this video and #2 is a comedy one. Sorry about the shaky experience a couple of times in the second half, but I had a couple of giggles. *Enjoy!*

I forgot to change to the standard back coming with the phone, so I had to hold it in a "flip" covering the screen while unused. Unfortunately I could not find records, it is a pity but the Belarusians store thousands of songs that are catchy as these but not recorded. It is a Slavic treasure that will eventually die.
