- After driving our daughter Reese down to move into her new place in Florida, I definitely took every opportunity to spend every last moment with her before flying back home without her. It was such a bittersweet, emotional time and I could hardly stop crying. So proud of her and excited for her new adventure out on her own, but definitely missing her like crazy already!

I’m crying while writing this… Stephen I just want to tell you how great of a dad you are. I am sure thousands of your viewers thank you for showing what dad should be. How a dad should act, support, and love their children. Not every child like me have that role model dad that can be their basis in choosing a right partner. I just wish every child have a dad like you, your children are so lucky to have you!
When Stephen started crying when he said the pose Reese did reminded him of when she was a little girl 😭😭😭😭 so sweet!! I started crying with you! We have raised 4 great kids and the hardest part is letting go! It’s a grief process for us as parents. Your family changes each time and will not be the same. It is also what we all worked for! Give them roots and give them wings! Having adult children who become more friends to us, is a beautiful process. It is tough, I feel your pain
Oh it is a grief isn’t it? But also beautiful to see the kids achieve and do well despite the mistakes we think we make as parents. We obviously did something good when we see them achieve and start living their happy life and making their own stories. I have 4 too. Would definitely do it all again ♥️

When my son moved to another province it was very difficult!! Its a 3-5 day drive or a very expensive 4 hour plane ride!! Facetime is a wonderful thing!! Thank god he's home now!!

The parting scene reminds me of when I went to college in another city as an adult. My mother sent me to school early in the morning, and on the train I was full of reluctance for my loved ones and a vision of an unknown life. Looking back now, I know this is the only way for everyone to grow. Be brave enough to chase your dreams and take care of yourself, girl! I have 3 children, all a year apart. I had an awful time when my kids left our home. The empty nest syndrome is real. I'm so proud of Reece, she's such a beautiful woman. You're awesome parents ❤️ love you all.

Good Morning Miller Family! It’s always tough to see your kids grow up & move away. But, it is exciting for them to gain their independence. I remember when it happened to me. I have 2 kids & it was a huge adjustment for me. Things like grocery shopping & cooking for myself. & Just not having other people in my house. Thank goodness I still have my dog to keep me company. You are going to have to repeat that so many times. I only had to do that twice. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦

Hello beautiful Miller family i feel your pain its so sad when one of your children leave home. Two of my boys left within months of each other but it does get easy. It also gives you something to look forward to when they come to visit. Also Reese is so so lucky she has such a lovely caring mum & Dad that love her so much and siblings as well. My husband cried for weeks after the boys had left but it gets easier. Take care love from the uk x

Amanda, beautiful video. Reese's move reminded me of when my eldest went away to Univeristy & I cried, cried for weeks. She will be fine. Wonderful to hear Linky say different words. FYI, I purchased the Frost Guard Windshield protector for our van from QVC. Its great. Now, we dont have to spend 15 mins scraping off the ice & snow. :)
This reminds me of my journey starting med school long way from home. It was so sad and scary and the hardest part was i lost my father few days after moving, so we couldn’t say a decent goodbye. My family struggled a lot and my University days were not that enjoyable as i had to work hard and earn money. But now i know everybody grows differently and with difficulties. It's just part of our life!

This was such a special video. Thank you for sharing this time and your lives with us. I know it is not lost on you that your lives will never be the same. Both of my boys are grown now and I miss the time when they were younger and would crawl into my bed. I miss the Mommy/son dates we would have. However, there are still precious memories to be had!!

Awww I couldn't help crying when Stephen started crying in the car. Those daddy-daughter date videos were so precious ❤ I moved out this past August at 22 so I relate. It's a bittersweet and exciting time. I'm currently back home for break, enjoying the family time. Will be praying for Reese as she starts this new chapter! ☺

When I dropped ma son of in AZ for school and being from VA, it took a week to come terms (stopped crying) that yes; kids grow up and move out for whatever reason and when they do so, they too have settle and start their own routine and life. But like some one said- thank goodness for face time and social media today you can still be in touch. Is not like they old days when you couldn't even call cuz long distance calls was so expensive. I think I have a better idea about how my parents feel with me moving out and over to another country even. I moved out about 21. I lived in a small town, hard to find a flat with people your age.
