Why can't the taxidriver keep his foot on the gaspedal, instead of giving throttle and then let go all the time. Very uncomfortable for the passengers. I noticed this myself several times whenever I took a taxi from the airport in Singapore

Lane discipline was non-existent in S'pore when I lived there in 1994-96. I've been there last year again and it's still not existent. Let's not talk about neighboring Malaysia, where on the KL-JB expressway I had to overtake everyone from the left ...
