- A lee-bow is a powerful technique that helps you control boats to windward. It is an important tool if you want to force a boat to tack or prevent being rolled on the upwind. Learning how to perform a good lee-bow takes a good amount of practice and it can help you in many situations after the start. In this video I show you how to perform the lee-bow in light weather.

What is lee bow and what is the purpose
0:46 - Cloused-hauled line is the fastest line (vmg=max!).
Why do I need the first step????)))
get a speed
Closed hauled line is slower than low mode cause sail at corner but low mode is abit off corner so can catch more wind. This is so as when the header huts you have enough baot speed to allow the header to carry u forward
