I got an ECS tuning res delete pipe and absolutely love it. All I had to do was just cut off the resonator and clap the pipe on. So far, I love the sound. Of course, it's only a res delete so it's not going to be stupid loud but it's definitely loud enough to turn a few heads. But it also gives me a great smile from how it sounds, and does a good job at enhancing the turbo sound in the exhaust.
Yes, the resonator delete was the only mod in this video. There is only one resonator on these vehicles, it's located in between the catalytic converter & muffler. Hope this helps!

Does it pop and crackle if you just take off the resonator
You'll have very light crackles when dropping rpms but for proper pops you need to get it mapped
I’ve got an ‘08 GTI, mine takes a little while to start up like yours, any clue why? Or are the cars just made like this
