Primarily it is due to the fact the horses are so anxious to pull. If you watch on all of the videos, as soon as they are hooked up they are pulling. So most of the time when they get backed up and think they are attached, they want to pull, or do their job. Notice how they’re just itching to pull the load
18,000lb sled drag (humans eternally mogged)
Okay, "Alexandra Bunny", It's obvious that you know absolutely NOTHING about horses or their body language. Because if you did you would't be saying ignorant things like that. These horses aren't being FORCED to do ANYTHING. THEY LOVE TO PULL!!!!
How much horsepower does your truck have?
Two
9 tons? Wow.
Dang these boys got some muscle
Woah, a 2 million view video that takes place in Orangeville. I used to live in Erin 15 minutes away, so its weird that a small town near my small town has a video with so many views.
It doesn’t even look like they’re limit either!
Holly molllyy!!
Clydesdales?? Love how they start prancing in place because they are ready to start!!😊
Belgians. Clydesdales are frail weaklings by comparison. ;)
@@millwaterpublishing1387 Clydesdales are more of a coach pulling horse and a show horse than a real work horse
@@maxhallman1036 Yes... Though they were used a good bit for farmwork back in the Old Country. Thanks to Budweiser, most Americans think all drafts are Clydesdales now... So I've got red/blonde Clydesdales and solid black Clydesdales. ;)
These guys are loving the pull!. Not freaking at all.. Just want that PULL!. I think these guys could have pulled a nearby Deere as well.
Pulls more than a Cybertruck. Probably has better reliability and resale value as well.
thats a lot of horsepower
They aren't giving you a lot of time for the set up; they want to work!
In the metric world these horses are pulling about 9 ton. about 4.5 ton each. I did not realise the draft horses where that strong. I bet a 4x4 pick up couldn't pull a stone block weighing 4.5 ton
Lol, a pair of trained Shaires can pull up to 45 tons on a wheeled sled. It never ceases to amaze me how incredible these creatures are. :)
Holy Toledo! My Goood Lord. Powerful animals
I want to buy these horses. Are they for sale? Do you have their off spring for sale? Please get in touch with me.
Вот Вам и 2 лошадинные силы, сколько в них мощи.
Very impressive considering you need about 400 hp in a gas truck to tow 12000 lbs
Seeing it still makes it hard to believe. The size is shocking.
Kinda' funny. I was mostly into quarter horse types for decades before getting into drafts. Thought a 17-2, 2000# horse was a monster... Now that seems almost small to us. And the QHs are like ponies.
Those are some very very large horses. If they were in the wild, they would have 0 predators. Crazy.
These horses are jacked!
They can't wait to get going!
That's some torque, yo!
Good pull !!!
Damn it is like theyre have waited this moment all the day !
jesus these are some beasts bro
Damn those horses are ready to go. They are like bring it on bitches !!!
I think they like it! You cant make an animal do this!
Beautiful!
Magnificent horses!!
how do you make the horses wanna pull so bad?
its in their blood their pullin horses
You scare the hell out of them. Those horses are scared to death. If they werent they would be able to stand still while they were hitched.
Jeanie Carlisle If they were that scared as you explaind them to be they would run off which they obvious didnt.
That is not at all necessarily true, these horses have obviously been trained, that being said they have been trained to react a certain way to fear, which is pull like the dickens. I have seen and properly trained drafts, as well as poor horses like the ones in this video, what is your experience?
Jeanie Carlisle I love people who act like they know so much about draft horses and "properly trained" horses. Let me tell you something, if a horse is scared, and it knows its owner is going to beat the hell out of it if it doesn't do what it is supposed to, it's going to fly like a bat out of hell. And if the horse is hurt, it will rear or buck. These horses are TRAINED to pull. They are antsy, just like racing horses that are put in boxes so they don't take off running before the race starts. They KNOW what they are about to do, and just like a runner, crouching and twitching before the gun is shot, these horses are doing the same thing. They are well behaved. They would be tossing their heads pulling in different directions if they were fearful. Please stop acting like you know what you're talking about when you're probably a peta ass kissing hipster just like the rest of these ignorant comments.
These are beautiful and magnificent horses, they don't necessarily love doing this, they are doing what they're trained to do... the consequences for not working may be cruel... Just like circus or rodeo animals
What type of horses are these
American Belgian. The European variety is less leggy and has more bulk. :)
