    I know its a little more expensive ,i have 2 convayors and i use chainsaw bar oil on my chains ,it seems to be a little more sticky and does not seem to wash off from the rain, have not had any problem with dirt and stuff clinging to the chain because they keep moving did a nice job rebuilding the convayor looking goog

    Those vertical sides you added to the outfeed tray make all the difference. It keeps the splits on the table and just lets the ram push everything into the conveyor hopper. Nicely done!

    Jake ,you keep saying, it will work for the time being. The time being is 17 years. My grandfather hung a door inside out and backwards after to many, let's say Banquets, it was 17 years before he fixed it.

    • @DudeRanchDIY
      @DudeRanchDIY  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep having friends like Chris is a good thing! The 1” paddles works very well so far, if need be I will add rubber flaps to make them taller with more grip, so far I don’t see that being necessary.

    Congratulations on the conveyor retrofit. It seems to be working as planned and should increase your overall splitting productivity. One other thing that you might consider in the future if you already have not considered it is a pivoting discharge trough at the top of the conveyor allowing you to more widely distribute the wood in the trailer without having to move it. Just a thought.
